Ideal location and reasonable price. Free bottled water in the room and more at the front desk if you asked. Noise from street wasn't too bad and it was close enough to the road to quickly get a taxi without needing to walk far with your bags (old town is not accessible to cars). Complimentary slippers and toiletries in the room, and we didn't use it as visited in winter but there was air-conditioning in the rooms too.

The staff were so so lovely, really helpful and chatty. Very welcoming and gave us some good advice about the area. The view was nice over the rooftops and the room was really big. Breakfast was pretty simple but nice, orange juice was fresh. Very central. Lots of character in the building, it was charming.
The mattress was a bit hard with only one pillow each, but we got an extra two sorted no bother. The kettle and fridge didn't work due to the socket they were plugged into, the staff were very apologetic and offered us tea and coffee from downstairs and to use the staff fridge if needed. It comes with it being an old building, didn't bother us much.

The location means that it is very loud. One morning a drunk man was sitting on the stairs for hours, directly outside our room.
You only get one bottle of water for the entire stay even in a room for 2 people. You also only get one tea bag even thought it is a room for two.

We could see the People's Palace from our room. Loved the huge windows in the room.
The breakfast was simple but fine. The cherry crumble cake was delicious!
Staff were friendly and accommodating.
The bed was two singles pushed together and a very tiny pillow each. They need to add a mattress topper at least when doing this as the ridge between the two mattresses was very uncomfortable.

The room was better than you can see in the photos. Very comfortable and clean. The room was cleaned every single day. The bed was very comfortable and big. The breakfast decent, containing everything you need. Even though we stayed both Saturday and Sunday the room was not noisy as we were afraid in the beginning.
However the most important thing is the guys who work in the Hotel. All of them are very kind and helpful, willing to accomplish all your requests.
I totally recommend Rembrandt hotel to anyone who wants to visit Bucharest.
10/10 and we will come again for sure!!!

Lovely little hotel, spotlessly clean and comfortable beds no issues with noise. Very well located for the old town. We visited the Therme spa whilst there - recommended highly but traffic in Bucharest is very busy and I understand why people try to visit on the last day and go straight to the airport. Best restaurant we ate at was Restaurant Bucatarasul, good value and great food. Also went to Linea - Closer to the Moon, again very enjoyable.
The breakfast. I wasn't expecting a lavish buffet because the price we paid was very reasonable but the breakfast was very sparse as in not much left whatever time you got up. I hate writing this because it is a lovely hotel. However we visited the nearby 'Luka' which is a take away bakery and for around ยฃ1 you can get a lovely baguette which is a great alternative. I understand you get what you pay for.

The hotel is a historical landmark in the heart of Bucharest. There are a lot of restaurants, coffee shops, museums and much more. It is comfortable and old-fashioned, which I liked. The location is unbeatable! Centrally situated in Old Town, yet slightly away from the main drag of bars so didn't hear any noise even on Friday and Saturday nights. The meeting points for all our booked excursions and tours were all less than 10mins walk away too which was very convenient! Room was comfy and clean and while the breakfast was very basic, it did the trick!
The only negative point - and it's a small one really - is that they didn't offer a 'bagged breakfast' option for people leaving before breakfast hours began (7:30am). When I asked, all they said was that coffee would be available, but no food. Considering that I imagine the vast majority of tourists will be doing a Transylvania/Dracula's Castle tour, and all of them start at 7am, this was surprising and a little disappointing.

No Wifi in my room except if i stood right by the door I got a slight signal. Nothing as soon as i moved half a meter. Very loud music and merryment outside at night until early hours, but was fine with ear plugs in and to be expected in the old town area. Reception staff in general friendly but one was unpleasant and unhelpful regarding wifi issue by just saying โWIFI is good everywhereโ. A briefing of local area or suggestions of trips ect would have been welcomed. In reflection price of room felt high considering everything and minimal breakfast offerings. No feel good factor to my stay.

It is a boutique hotel I first stayed 14 years ago. It didn't seem to change too much in my recent stay but more pricy now (Well, Bucharest and Romania are much wealthier than 14 years ago). It is centrally located and the included breakfast is nice. The room is a bit small (possibly because mine is a "single") but nicely decorated. It is at the back of the small hotel, so no noise problems (the front is the nightlife area of Bucharest Old Town)
I like it overall but just hope it can be cheaper.

The Hotel is unique. Although we were on the street side we didn't hear any noise whatsoever. It's conveniently located on the edge of Old Town and close to the street where our taxi dropped us off.

Great location on the edge of the city center. Large room and bathroom. Great shower with lots of hot water. Lots of cupboard space for clothes. We had the fourth floor front room above the restaurants but the singer stopped by 10:30-11pm and it was very quiet after that. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Wi-fi wasn't great. Signal cut out at times. Despite that Rembrandt is a 10+ and we highly recommend it.

The property is in old town close to Universitate metro station, convenient for bars, restaurants and nightlife. The room had a balcony which gave us an amazing view. The hotel staff, especially Andrei are very kind and speak English.
Because of the location to bars and clubs, the hotel was noisy at night. I was prepared for this and packed ear plugs. I managed to sleep really well in the comfortable bed.

The location was great, the balcony was great, everything was very clean, and the people at the reception were very helpful. The air conditioning worked very well, and so did the internet.
The water pressure was not very good (but that is to be expected on the top floors of an old building) and the refrigerator is tiny and slow (but they did offer the use of their own if something needs to be put in the cold immediately).

The location is in the middle of old town! The staff were so helpful and the desk is open 24 hours.
The hotel is nice, a little dated but still very comfortable. Unfortunately Bucharest is noisy, not the hotel's fault but just so you know.

Great location for lots of walking
That early check in wasnโt possible. Itโs hard when only one room for what I booked is all the hotel has bc early check in would never be possible.
Also, up charging for early checkin is just wrong. If the room is ready, it doesnโt take away anything or anyone to let the customer in early. Better yet it builds your reputation with customers.

Well designed and well-furnished room with good lighting. It has everything you need and nothing you don't. Breakfast is good and good value. Great location within arm's-reach of the entire old town and Bucharest's major transportation nodes. 24 hour reception is also great for a place like this!
If placed at a high room, the twisting staircase and small elevator may be an issue for some.

The location was excellent - near a lot of amazing restaurants but also not too far from the street. The hotel made it easy to book a ride to the airport as well. The room was very nice, clean, and had AC which was great during the heat wave!
