Hotel has a beautiful picture online so we were expecting a nice room and comfortable stay at Β£60 for one night. We were put in the building opposite with a small room, small double bed and a quilt that didn't cover us. We could even hear people urinating in the room next door. Suggest you book further away from The Old Market Square for half the price and get a Taxi in. Stayed in five different hotels in Romania, this was the most expensive, had the smallest room and the worst nights sleep. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

The terrace of the second room that they gave us, after the first room flooded.
It's a shame because the place has many possibilities.
The treatment from the staff was terrible (guy with the beard), they spoke Romanian among themselves thinking that we didn't understand them, and we spoke their language, they were laughing at my partner for being a man and having long hair, they laughed at him calling him a girl.
Our room was flooded after a storm, they offered us to move just to sleep one night in another room and the next day return to ours, we refused. After much discussion we managed to stay in the new room.
The lamp on the bedside table was broken, the bathroom had cockroaches, there was a lot of dust, especially in the bathroom, the radiator and the lights, there is no elevator! and they need to renew above all the mentality of their employee.
A disaster, we will not return.

Great location less than 10 minutes walk from the main sights. Good parking, but was quite busy (I took the last space when arrived at around 9pm although it may be easy to park nearby...I didn't look). Friendly check in. Smaller room than other hotels I have been staying in on this trip, but enormous bed (bear in mind I had booked a single room)! Bathroom was small but clean and adequate. The hotel was a little dated, but clean. No problems with noise. I didn't stay for breakfast as I had to leave early. On returning from an early morning walk, I had a nice surprise with a lovely view out of the stairwell window over the roof tops. I would happily stay again.

We had a nice stay during the ARTmania festival, for which is a good choice. We walked around 10-15mins to get to the main square, where the festival takes place. We didn't get the breakfast, since there are many nice bistros in town just a few minutes of walking away.
For a breakfast-less room, it was rather on the expensive side. Also, there could've been some investments into facilities and overall look.

Iβve been here several times in the past 4 years. I really like that itβs near the city center and it has its own parking lot and restaurant. It also has a bar. Everyone from the staff is really nice, from the person at the reception to the cleaning staff to the waiters in the restaurant. The food Iβve ate was really good and the breakfast is also good. Room is equipped ok. Bathroom has a regular size bottle of hand soap and a regular size bottle of shampoo/shower gel, not those stupid little soaps and little bottles hotels usually offer. The view of the room is towards the parking lot/street, for those motorcyclists that are afraid for their bikes. There are also dedicated parking spaces for motorcycles.
The rooms are a bit small for the price you are paying. The walls are a bit thin, I could hear what people were watching at tv from both adjacent rooms. Bath sometimes smelled a little. All this being said, probably next time I will come to Sibiu on the motorcycle Iβll book here again. I like it even though itβs not perfect.

Cute hotel. Clean and tidy. An old part, a new part. But everything is of a high standard. For those who are hot, then the air conditioner is for the whole hotel, meaning that you can't set the temperature only for the room. Which is a bit of a bummer. The fact that Ana, the receptionist (who in my opinion should be the manager), saved the situation is the only reason Iβm giving this place 4 stars.
Long story short: although I had confirmed my arrival for 1:15 AM, when I arrived at the front desk, I was told that I didnβt have a reservation. After going through my emails with the receptionistβwhich clearly showed my communication with ApolloβI was eventually given a room. To my surprise, there was no hot water.
The next morning, Ana was on duty and she brilliantly handled the entire situation. Her professionalism, calm attitude, and efficiency turned a frustrating experience into a manageable one. She truly went above and beyond, and Iβm very grateful for that.

There was disgusting smell in the room. But the source of the smell was not the bathroom. The parking place at front of the hotel is limited, so you should come early to find a place.
