The front desk staff was not friendly and they didn't explain everything. They didn't tell me the check-out time or which floor the room was on. It took 15 minutes to find the room. Also, there was some noise coming out of the hallway into the room.

Everything is exceptional value for the money
We use the bus service 6 time. Last time bus service from hotel to kudai parking is not good. We waited for the bus in kudai parking for more then 20 minutes with kids in 1 pm in high sun and with other guest then took taxi and spend 20 riyal to coming back to hotel and saw bus driver sitting and having chit chat outside the bus. That's so bad

We were satisfied with our stay at this hotel. The bus service to Haram was pretty good; they dropped us off at Kudi Station. From Kudi, free buses to Haram run frequently. With these buses, you can get off under the Clock Tower and easily access Haram with just a few minutes’ walk. There’s no need to wait too long for the service.
The room was clean, and they provided everything we needed. However, the bathroom floor was a bit slippery, so you need to be careful with your steps; otherwise, you might fall.
The staff were friendly, and although the housekeeping service was a bit slow, it was fine. There was no smell or mold in the room. There is a small market in the hotel, which is really helpful for buying essentials like slippers or food items such as snacks, fruits, and eggs. However, the market is a bit expensive, so you might want to check other alternatives in the back street. They also have a nice private parking area. I’d stay there again—pretty good for short stays!

The staff were all non-english speakers, and they denied my booking reservation at first, after that they checked me in, I was tired with Ihram and they wouldn't let me get my reserved room and stuff, it was horrible experience, nevertheless there was a guy who did help us very much his name was Zubair he was the only nice well educated man who spoke english, he was very kind and very helpful, that man should get a raise! And please hire english-speaking staff...

Bus experience wasn't pleasant, you take 2 deferent buses to get to HARAM which was a bit annoying, some times a took a Taxi to save my time.

The staff were very polite and cooperative. The woman that checked us in was very nice and the other one wadood was really nice and helpful. We had a room with a smoke smell but once we told them they apologized, changed the room immediately and provided all the supplies. They are trying hard to satisfy the customer. There are plenty of shops around the hotel within walking distance.
The distance to the Haram is farther than I expected. The buses are not available around the clock rather twice an hour. There were only 3 buses during the end of April just before pilgrims arrive which are not enough. Also you have to take another bus from Kuday. Also they don't provide liquid hand soap rather a small soap bar. No shower gel!

The carelessness of the staff and management to react, own and respond to my , and other guests, genuine needs to resolve the issue of having 2 cars blocked us in the hotel garage for few hours. The security admitted that this is a repeated issue and no action was taken to prevent this from reoccurrence.

I liked my stay at Alayam elite 2 .I extended it a couple days too.its not an elite hotel as the name says The hotel is an average hotel that reasonably priced so you get what you pay for! It’s fairly clean.it has some English speaking staff so that helps! The girls at the front desk and nice and helpful.There is a 24 hour grocery shop/ coffee shop within the hotel premises and that is good feature to get some quick breakfast while waiting for the shuttle or lunch.
it has a hotel shuttle that takes you to the bus station and from there u take another bus station and then walk the underground tunnel 7-8 mins and the escalator up to the clock tower close to door 79 door of the haram!
It’s pretty organized and goes in a timely manner.some wait times but overall good!
They are one of the handful of hotels in Mecca that have a washing machine ; although very old and outdated and a hanging line for drying clothes on the last floor of the buildings.
It’s not in a congested area of the haram. So only at certain times you encounter traffic.
they do have a restaurant that I did not get a chance to see or eat at so no comments on that!
Bathrooms and showers need updates and the beds are not the most comfortable!
