The standard Scandic breakfast is nice to rely on. Nice to have a pool for the kids.
- Rooms: We had two rooms - 66 and 67. The rooms are literally like sauna. They only have a ventilator, the windows don’t fully open which have zero impact to cool down the temperature.
- Beds: Beds don’t have a proper mattress, just a mattress topping and they are so soft that you collapse in them. Imagine trying to sleep in a sauna in a super soft surface.. Of course you can’t sleep.
- Staff: They were young and barely speaking English when we checked in. They forgot to mention that breakfast time has to be booked in advance. In the morning we had to sit at a conference room, with more people, because staff also forgot to mention some others too.

Very good hotel if you're looking for a place to stay around Malmö with your family. We were greeted by the very welcoming staff. Our children were given complimentary drinks. The hotel has leasure activities for kids indoors and outdoors. There's a small pool indoors.
There was no air conditioner in the room and it was a relatively hot day when we stayed there. Opening the windows didn't help.

swimmingpool was a disappointment, very small and not nice, would be good to have proper foto of it on website to see in advance, dame about the outdoor - would be good to have proper pictures and discription of it.. it was one of the reasons we chose this hotel but the reality vs expectation didnt match

A great hotel for families. There are plenty of play areas for children, an adjacent swimming pool, a cinema, a fabulous breakfast, fantastic service, a very quiet location, and comfortable family rooms. We'd love to come back.

We liked the pool a lot - although the booking system that is supposed to prevent overbooking probably means that not every family will be able to enjoy it in high season. The location is perfect for a Malmö vacation by car. Skånetrafiken‘s bus line 4 stops right outside of the premises. The breakfast was amazing, especially for people like us who have dietary restrictions.

Breakfast had good spread of varieties and the staff their was very courteous and show cased good hospitality.
While booking from booking.com, I was booking a room for just myself with breakfast , but during the booking, it took me to "Family Room" , not sure what exactly happened and why. However, this booking came without the breakfast booking and only when I was checking in, got to know about that the booking is without breakfast and had to pay 129 SEK extra for the breakfast on top of the Family room charges ,where I was actually needing just a single room :-(.

Comfortable beds
Very very old and dilapitadely looking building from the outside. The lobby etx have been put up to date but for me this does nog go above a 2 star lower ibis equivalent. Bathroom very baren and shower patheticly small. No a/c. Area is not the greatest and the entire hotel gives more of a highway motel feel than anything. Way overpriced for the value

The room were clean with most of the essentials, good lighting, and spacious toilet and bath. Its a good place for the family with many spaces for kids activity. The staff were also friendly and helpful.
I like it that it has an indoor pool (probably the only one near malmo city center), a decent gym, and a sauna. However, the pool is about 1.5m deep all throughout so kids need an adult with them around. All facilities are free, but need to be booked once you have checked in to prevent crowding. This has both its positive and negative sides to it.

A minor proposal for improvement. Could add espresso and other coffee brews in addition to the bryggkaffe or make the bryggkaffe stronger

Breakfast and the playing area.
As such nothing, but rooms can be kept warm before handling over to kids. It makes the stay cosy for the guests, as when we went into the room it was freezing. We have to wait for 10-15 mins before it came to normal temperature.

As I asked, I got a really quiet room. Breakfast was great! Free parking is a plus.
The pet fee was a bit too expensive in my opinion considering the room cost. Room ventilation could be better, and heating could be more flexible. The bathroom was quite cold and didn't have either a dedicated heater, nor a warm floor ( but the room was very warm and even stuffy).
While the breakfast was truly great with lots of options to choose from, the "restaurant" on the first floor where you'll be suggested to have a supper is essentially a pizzeria which shifts perspective..
Also note that green fields around the hotel aren't a park, but a golf club, so don't plan to have a nice walk there.
Nonetheless, I'm setting the score to 9 as typically 8 and below yield a worse overall experience.
