Well kept room, comfy bed with fresh sheets and towels each day. Breakfast was adequate though wasn’t spoilt for choice, but still excellent fuel for the day ahead. The hotel was well kept and calm. The area was beautiful, near a park for morning walks, restaurants, bars and shops. Buses running along outside the hotel to get you places. The centre is just through a nearby tunnel with metro links and more shops and sights. Would definitely recommend for Stockholm first timers!

The room we got had no window (it was an inside room) but this didn’t detract from anything. The room was huge and there were vents so air was constantly being circulated.
The beds were comfortable, pillows were okay.
The location was close to everything, you could walk or catch the bus everywhere with ease.
The breakfast was excellent and they were so accommodating to whatever you asked for.
The bathroom was a bit small but manageable.
The noise level from people walking or running around in the room above us was a bit annoying but can’t be helped I guess.
The other party in our group had a room with a window, their room was about half the size of ours, but the view was amazing.

The location of the hotel is perfect. Around the hotel there are plenty of shops, restaurants, cinemas.
Our twin room was okay size wise. The staff are ok too.
There is a fridge with a glass door which has a blue light and it is always on. So you can imagine how sleeping in the room is not pleasant when the fridge is on. The shower in the bathroom has a terrible door which does not close all the way so the bathroom floor floods with water after you take a shower. There is a really unpleasant smell in the lobby and breakfast room.

The room (Junior Suite) is amazing. The location of the hotel is great. The staff is kind and helps a lot.
The bathroom is very simple and I expected a bath for a Junior Suite.
Nevertheless, I think it is the culture in Stockholm / Sweden because I checked a lot of hotels/rooms on Booking.com and none of them had a bath (or you have to pay between €500 and €1,000 for one night).

Good location almost in the city center, some 10-15 mins to walk to the Royal Palace / Gamla Stan, 5 mins to walk to the metro stations. The hotel is located at a quite huge street, but we didn't recognize any noise and also the place itself seemed to be very safe; no night racket as it could be expected looking at the position of the building. Cosy room with a small shower + toilette, kettle and tea/coffee bags provided.
Good and rich breakfast, wide choise of dish. Nice staff.
We were given to a room at the tompost level in spite of the fact that we did the booking some three monts in before and paid the total in advance at the same time. I'd expect that the room could be better a little bit under such conditions met.
Roof windows slightly not fitting and thus some draught around them. Room doors very noisy when closing and I'm not sure if some guests know how to use the door handle.

The location wasn't amazing but still good. The breakfast was sufficient. My room was a bit tight and small but adequate. The staff were helpful and attentive. I had no issues with the Wi-Fi. Since it's on a busy street, there can be some noise from outside, which might be a problem if you're a light sleeper, but it wasn't an issue for me. I would consider staying here again on my next trip to Stockholm!
The room was small and cramped, and the building's older construction resulting in poor sound insulation but those are not big issues for me for a short stay

The chandelliers of course! I had the tiniest room Ive ever stayed in but it was there, all bright and shiny! :) Good breakfast, and flexible for using the extra facilities (gym and that cute little sauna)
Well, I missed a place to rest after the sauna, though I understand there isnt really much space... A foldable beach chair might do the job!

I stayed in this hotel several times in the 1990's when it was called the 'Karelia'. I loved it then and it lived up to my memories, I still love it. It's also a very interesting building architecturally.

Staff was very friendly and efficient. Room was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast (cold and hot) was included. About 7 minute was from the metro line.
Room was very narrow so would be hard to have more than one person. Shower was also the entire bathroom so even with a curtain, most of the bathroom gets wet when showering. There was no AC unit and it was unusually warm during my stay. House keeping did bring me a fan which helped.

I checked in quite late in the evening - and the check-in was great! Breakfast was lovely, staff (also the cleaning satff) were all super friendly and the room was comfortable. My room did not have a hair dryer and when I asked at the front desk, a hair dryer was brought to me in 15 min - fantastic service! A great experience overall- thank you!

Breakfast was not bad! It’s situated at a great location. And that’s about it.
Need to wash sheets and towels better. Or I got not so clean ones. My room had a strong scent. From the pillow, the duvet, the towels. I had to cover the pillow with my own towel to get good sleep, and when I checked under the bed it was not clean either. When I asked for cleaner sheets from housekeeping they said I needed to wait 3 days. Which is understandable! Because they only clean rooms after 3 days! But it would have helped to get better sheets. They did not smell fresh at all!!
