the location is good and the bed was ok
Very thin walls and could hear the next room talking as if they were in the room with us. The hotel stinks of damp and the walls/ blinds in our room were filthy. There was also no plug socket in our room so we had to unplug the wall hung tv to charge our phones, which meant having the phone sit unstable atop the tv.

The fridge didn't work and the safe required batteries that they were not able to replace in a timely manner. Sadly our friend in an adjacent room ALSO had a dodgy fridge and a safe that required batteries. We asked for it to be fixed but this couldn't be done until late on the second day of our stay. The room was pokey, the air conditioning either froze you or didn't work, the side bench was cluttered with a vanity (because the bathroom was too small to fit one). All in all it was ok as a sleeping pod but not at all useful beyond that.

The location is fantastic. You can literally walk to MBS, it was like 12 mins or so. The room is good even though it's quite tiny.
The bed is too small. But, it was ok for me. You can't call the staffs even though there are phones in the room because no one at the reception. Mostly, there is no one at the reception full time. They just randomly stay there for a short period of time.

It's a great location, a short 20 minute walk from the downtown and Marina Bay Sands area.
Plenty of bars, restaurants and shops nearby as well as easy access from the airport via the MRT network.
The hotel is very clean and a great option for an overnight stay.
It is VERY tight in the rooms. Luckily I was travelling alone & light during and just needed a bed to stay but it would be uncomfortably tight for a couple to be staying with luggage in the room.
Further to this, I had some work to do and was relying on wifi for this - the main wifi would not work on either my phone or laptop and I was required to call the reception staff again...
The reception staff are actually located at a different building so it became a 10-15 minute wait for them to arrive here.
The receptionist was very nice and did what she could to help but she didn't know the passwords for the other available wifi networks at the hotel, meaning I wasn't able to get my work done.

Hotel Clover 7 is a clean and comfortable hotel in a fantastic location, boat quay is a few streets away, downtown is a short walk away and Chinatown another short walk in the opposite direction. The room was cleaned every day and fresh towels were provided daily.
The only downside is the room is quite small, only a little wider than the double bed, but it had an en-suite and shower which was great. The room size isn’t the end of the world because if you’re in Singapore you’re probably only going to use it to sleep in. Another thing is the front desk isn’t manned, but a phone call on the reception phone and somebody attends from just around the corner from the hotel.

The accomodation looks better in pictures. In real life is a bit neglected. Be careful with the room you get, the receptionist gave me first a room with a door connected to a second room with other guests staying there. The door could be opened from our side so that's a big privacy issue. When complaining about this, they tried to tell me there were no more rooms available and changed me to a new one only after threating to leave...

While the finishes in the building have been renovated, the mechanical systems have not. In my room, the air conditioning was unbearably loud, and the wall-mounted control panel only allowed it to be switched on or off, with no possibility to adjust the airflow or temperature. The unit blew air directly onto my head during the night, making it very uncomfortable to sleep.
The refrigerator was set to the highest setting, yet by morning the food inside had become warm.
Additionally, there was visible mold in several areas of the building.

This room with no window was dedicated to disable persons and doesn't look to make the 27sqm advertised. Room too small. The width of the room is the size of the bed. I sm 180cm and at night my feet were outside the bed. The aircondition air flow is toward the bed, which interfer sleeping. Due to the tiny room size and the heat in Singapore, there is no way to shut down the aircondition. No normal place to sit in the room - tiny small chair. It means you are staying on the bed all the time. The shower water streem wetting the toilet, which is close to the shower. And more small issues...

The room is extremely small, looks bigger and newer in the pictures and it is cramped with unnecessary items leaving no space for your own stuff. They charge extra to check in early even though the rooms are available which I personally find to be a very abusive practice since sometimes guests will need to check out early and not use the full day either. It is common courtesy to allow guests to check in early if the room is available especially if they are coming from a long flight. Also the reception is not 24 hours as indicated on their page.

Good location near Raffles, close to Chinatown & especially close to the old Chinese style terraces.
There was some confusion with the check in, I was approved for early check in at 1pm. The dark skinned gentleman doing reception said check in was 3pm, I advised that I was approved for 1pm check in. He smirked at me and said he’ll check, after playing on the computer he said my room wasn’t ready. I waited for another 10 mins playing loud music in the lobby to annoy the receptionist. He immediately said my room was ready with an annoyed look on his face. During this time there was no sight of any cleaners in the hotel, the 2nd level was clearly visible from the lobby so I knew this receptionist was lying about my room not being ready and just wanted to make my check in difficult.
