The showers and bathrooms were pretty clean. Nice garden on top of the building.

You can refill your reusable bottle with water at the reception.
We had a 2 bed bedroom with shared bathroom. Our room faced a very busy and noisy boulevard (both day and night, so no chance of having some rest). There were trucks, cars and motorcycles that stopped at the intersection and when they were starting the engines, the noise was unbearable.
This is not a place for a couple or for someone not used with bad sleeping conditions at all.
For breakfast you will only get bread, jam, butter, peanut butter, some chocolate cream, lipton tea and small bags with coffee and milk which have to be blended with water (horrible). If you are lucky enough and wake up early in the morning, you can catch some oranges or apples.
55 SGD/night is quite pricey for what you get, but for Singapore, this is quite OK.
13 min walk from the closest metro station (Bendemeer, Downtown line-blue one).

I dont know much about hostels in S'pore, but this one is perfect. Nice staff, free brekkie, water, tea, coffee, you get all the info what you need to spend your time here. Rooftop is really cool. Nice and clean beds, shower, common areas. I would book again.
Bit far from the centre, traffic is a bit bothersome in the morning. Locker is not in the room.

Nice and clean Hostel near the center, it was easy to access, The staff is lovely and helpful they arrange for me a late Check in (3am) with useful instruction. I didn't face the time to try the rooftop :( The breakfast is ok (just few stuff to avoir leaving with nothing in the belly). Great value for a short and cheap stay in Singapore.
A little bit far from the Marina Bay (30min by Metro) Blanquets and mattress could be better quality but it was still ok.

The location is good, not too far a walk from 2 metro stations. The place is clean enough, and the shared bathrooms are in a decent state. We never had to wait to use a shower as there are enough of them. The staff are friendly and helpful and you can also book things to do through the hostel, e.g. walking tours.
The mattresses are due to be changed as you can feel the springs in your back when sleeping! It didnt cause us to have a bad night sleep but theyre just not the most comfortable.
Overall, a good stay!

The staff where very friendly and helpfull. The kitchen was very handy. It was pretty clean. It was the cheapest accommodation in Singapore so under normal circumstances $16 a night would buy you a lot more, bit for Singapore it was allright value for money.
The aircon was freezing all the time in the room and both my friend and i left woth colds. They also only give you a very tiny thin blanket (one bed only had a scarf on it) There are A LOT of guests that stay there so get to breakfast early as the breakfast area is very small and there is no seating if you get there past 8:30.

We stayed here for two nights whilst in Singapore. We found the stay comfortable and the facilities were clean. We had free breakfast included and a bus stop was near by for us to catch the bus straight to near the Gardens by the Bay.
The kitchen area did get a little busy in the mornings but we always managed to get a seat. The Gardens by the bay tickets at the reception did sell out when we tried to buy them. I think this is because theyre discounted prices but we bought tickets when we got to the place with no problem.

Really liked this hostel! Like others have said in the reviews, it feels more like a (western style) backpackers then the other hostel I've visited in Singapore. Easy to meet people but without loud parties inside. Beds were comfortable, showers and toilets clean and never had to wait for them. Breakfast is basic (toast with spreads), but the oranges are a nice touch.
Nothing really. It's located on a big street with lots of traffic, so sitting outside isn't great, but from the rooftop terras it's not too disturbing.

Yes, all is small, but all is clean. Very helpful and friendly staff. Easy access 24/7. Nice terrace. Very good location: bus stop (bus can bring you almost everywhere) and lots of food courts and restaurants. Also, it's a quiet district (if there are noisy districts in SG at all). As for the breakfast: it's instant coffee (with no milk) or tea, unlimited toasts with butter, peanut butter or jam. That all. But it's still good as for me (excepting shitty coffee). Toilets and shower cabins are surprisingly clean considering the number of guests. Recommended for solo travelers and big groups (you can rent the entire room with 6-8 beds)
Minor issue: there's no milk for coffee :) But still all is good, I will definitely stay there if visit Singapore again

Large hostel on the edge of downtown - a few minutes walk to the subway. Nice rooms with good AC, no privacy curtains though. Fantastic warm showers. Toast and spreads for breakfast, quite nice tea but terrible coffee! haha. The staff are super helpful - especially the blonde lady working 14 days straight! Thank you for always chatting with me :-) Lots of social space but travellers were not that chatty. Nice self service laundry - brilliant dryer!
The road outside is a bit noisy, but didn't keep me awake. The location is pretty far from stuff so you have to MRT pretty much anywhere, but it was nice to go back somewhere quiet! Having to rent a towel was a bit annoying - everywhere else on my trip it was included.

It's close to the metro and the bus station it's next to the hostel. The breakfast is included and near are many restaurants for lunch and dinner. The blond girl from the reception was nice and helpful.
There's just 2 toilets and 2 showers for many people. One evening one of the showers was out of service, but I don't wait too long to take a shower.
