The family-run country-style boardinghouse Apartments & Rooms Preseren is located just 1.2 mi from the center of Bled and houses nicely furnished and comfortably equipped double, triple rooms and apartments. The picturesque house is located in quiet surroundings, close to the scenic Vintgar gorge and the Bled lake and we speak English, German, Serbo-Croatian and Slovenian.
If you are not coming by car we can pick you up at the bus station in Bled for free. We also offer mountain bike rental at reasonable rates. The scenic Vintgar gorge and the Bled lake are only a half-hour walk away.
Make mountain bike tours through the Triglav national park, go rafting, canyoning or make a tour with a mini raft. If you prefer more relaxed activities, fishing is possible as well.

But the major problem is the lack of mosquito nets and air conditioning! If you let the windows open, you have mosquitos and flys by the dozen - this is a rural area. Plus, each morning, from 5 am, you have the whole village fauna giving a concert - cows, ducks, dogs, tractors... If you close the window, you have a hot and steamy apartment without air conditioning. Not a happy choice....

The atmosphere here reminded us of our own Polish countryside. This combined with absolutely amazing kind and caring hosts made us feel right at home. You can feel the love they have for this place in the air, and that's something that usually money cant buy. With all the atractions around, you cant be bored, and after the breakfast they serve here you'll have all the energy you need. We have never before encountered such great showers!

We were very pleased with our stay. The location is great - you enjoy the nature (at the gates of Triglav Natural Park), while being very close (walking distance) from the city of Bled. The vila offers very good and comfortable conditions (very clean and spacious), the breakfast is excellent (many fresh, homemade products). Our hosts were incredibly welcome and friendly. And super helpful and responsive. Easy parking on the premises.

Very expensive compare to what you get- the room size small, the beds all singles and completly not comfortably. The room size is small.The beds-cover are old, not feeling good and need to renew. No view from the room,at all. No wifi for the kids- wifi not reaching to second floor, where the 3 beds are, so the children weren't comfortably and not satisfies. we did not like the breakfast, that was not tasty for all of us, and not include and cost extra money. (In Slovenia, nothing include no breakfast/laundry / parking in tourist attractions/ vagtabels inside your meat roll / flowting games in the swimming pool , and so on..all cost extra).

The apartment is situated in a small village next to lake Bled. It is a quiet place where you can enjoy the beautiful nature of the region. Regarding my stay I can say that I really enjoyed my time there. The host is very friendly and helpful. From the moment I arrived I felt welcome and this certainly made my stay much more pleasant. They give me advice about what to visit and we talked about what Slovenia has to offer. The room is clean, spacious and comfortable. You even have your own parking spot, which is really nice. There is nothing negative I can say about this place. My advice: book a room and you won't regret it. I hope to return in the near future.

Great place, great hosts, great location, kids/family friendly. Plenty of toys/animation for kids. Great breakfast. If you need any help whatsoever host are more than willing to help. Not far from Bled lake, but also place is surrounded with mountains/hiking, animals you can feed/pet. Everything is nice and quiet and clean. Rooms are cozy and clean, parking is in front of rooms.

Beautiful surroundings not far from Bled and the vintgar gorge. Excellent location in which to explore the area and a. Was the amenities of Bled. The host family is kind and friendly and knows the area very well. Breakfast was exceptional, abundant, local, and presented on a beautiful patio. We will be back!

Friendly welcome from host providing lots of local information. Breakfasts very good with wide choice, vegetarian options too. Hosts were helpful throughout our stay and contributed to our enjoyment of it and the area. Restaurant/bar about 200 metres away had good food and drink at ok prices. Could walk into Bled in 20/25 minutes and there is a bus service too.
The gorge walk at Vintgar, 25 minutes walk away, is not to be missed.
The weather! Zasip was experiencing poor weather like the rest of a wide area - most unusual for the time of year we were there.
No problems at all with the accommodation.

The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, with a detailed check-in process, including all practical information about the surrounding area, restaurants and places to visit. Daily home-made breakfast was served fresh in the garden, and the host caters to all dietary needs (in our case gluten-free). The apartment was very spacious and clean, with all kitchen utilities including a dishwasher, aircon and beautiful view of the mountains. The hosts cater to all individual needs, and the entire experience had a family feel. Absolutely recommend Ivana and Gregor for everyone vacationing in the Bled area, we will definitely will be back!

A cute place in a wonderful village, the lady is so nice we really felt at home. I recommend at 100%, specially if you need calm and rest in a charming place. The lake is really close from it by car and you have wonderful hike around.

Very nice host who gave many good sugestions. Very nice breakfast. Possible to buy local wine. Very good locations , nice restaurant just 200 meters. You can also reach Vintgar gorge just in 35min by foot - this way you save 10โฌ for parking and arter you have short way back to apartment . Comfortable beds.

We had this summer the chance to rent an apartment at Ivanka and Gregorโs marvellous place! Everything was perfect even for a long stay: the location in a wonderful and peaceful village ( e.g. two delicious restaurants near by, 10 min from Lake Bled by bike, hiking trails starting right there on the heights of the village...), a very clean and comfy/cosy apartment, well-equipped with a beautiful view from the balcony! Ivanka and Gregor are very nice people, helpful and contributed to make our stay so enjoyable! At last, I cant' help but talk about Ivankaโs breakfast, orange cake, Apple pie, banane cake, fruits, coffee, tea, eggs, cheese, yoghurt: you have a big choice and everything is tasty and homemade ! Donโt hesitate!
We will certainly come back!

Location was very easy to find and near to Bled. Good restaurant walking distance down the road. Hosts were very helpful and welcoming.
Unfortunately, through no fault of the hosts, due to the heat and the rural location flies were an issue making sitting outside unpleasant.

The location was ideal for us as it gave us access to explore the areas we were interested in without always needing to use the car. We enjoyed the benefit of the free bus service into Bled. The hamlet is peaceful and so we were not affected by street noise etc. A few minutes away there is a good restaurant with a varied menu serving quality food in large servings and even in high season we never waited long to be seated. The breakfast was varied with homemade cakes and jams and the hosts were friendly and informative. On our last day we arranged to do the zip line tour and Gregor kindly arranged with the company for a local pickup and return for us so we did not need to drive into Bled and find a parking space during a very busy holiday time.
Overall we enjoyed our time at Preseren, however, due to the time of the year of our visit, there were a number of wasps in the garden which was where breakfast was served when it was dry; whilst we were not stung this did affect our enjoyment slightly. In addition, Slovenia has a relaxed attitude to the effects of secondary smoking on peopleโs health and so we encountered other guests smoking outside and above our room as well as at breakfast despite there being no ashtrays on the breakfast tables. Gregor and Irina may wish to consider allocating a separate area in the garden for the use of people wishing to smoke rather than provide ashtrays outside each of the rooms as well as asking guests not to smoke in the breakfast areas.
