My only concern was that after paying £10 a day for carparking, a space could not be guaranteed if I had to use the car during my stay.

Also, the price was exceptionally good for a city centre hotel on a weekend night.

We loved staying here as so close to the venue we were attending that evening. The only minus was that the bed was a little too firm for us and our hips ached a bit in the morning. Apart from that the stay was fab !
Just the firmness of the bed

Clean and dry
Comfortable bed
Anyone can park in their "Designated" disabled parking spaces - I have a blue disabled parking permit.. but couldn't park.
The breakfast was frugal and extremely disappointing.
The hotel invited Civil Parking/Enforcement operative in for their free breakfast (yet note my comments above)
Staff were unattentive and more concerned about speaking with their friends, the free diner and playing on the mobile phone to waste their time helping guests (not just myself)
Diabolical.... won't be in any hurry to come back.

This budget hotel was central to where we needed to go.
Staff were very nice and helpful and provided us with what we needed. Quick check in and check out.
The room was very small and didn’t have much storage. There was no hand towels available. There was toilet paper stuck on the toilet seat when we arrived too and we don’t find very practical having the toilet separate from the sink. During the night all we could hear was the sink making noise so we had to put the plug in to help with getting rid of the noise. 1 night was expensive for a budget hotel with these conditions.

The room was pleasently decorated and spotlessly clean. The large bed as comfortable and gave a good night's sleep. The bathroom was compact. Presented very clean there was a good sized shower and plenty of hotwater. The room has a large TV, plenty of plugs with USB plugs included. Nifty little inset reading lights were a clever touch. Good clear towels. This hotel is excelent value for money. In reception the staff were pleasent and helpful. Pizza and alcoholic drinks available 24/7.
No Kettle in the room but I knew this and made my own arrangements. Drinks available 24/7 in reception.

Great location, clean and great value. Perfect if you’re going to a gig at The Academy as it’s 50 yards away.
It’s basic - no tea and coffee in the room. I’ve never had the issue with heat but this visit I was absolutely freezing all night. The air con didn’t change the heat and it was so noisy. Shame.

Easy in and out of Birmingham
Smelt of, In order; urine, cigarette smoke, bad beer, and cannabis.
No lock on toilet door and no space therein.
Draughty window.
Bed not unlike sleeping on a cotton draped rock.
Car parking, frankly, a joke.
Lifts only half worked and were frustratingly slow, small, and loud.

Everything we needed for a stay in Birmingham following a gig and for an exceptionally reasonable price!
Would have LOVED a kettle and a couple of mugs for tea purposes but completely understand that there's not a great amount of space to play around with for this.

Good central location. Within walking distance of the Bullring.
It is very low cost and very basic, but very clean and well presented for the price. If you want a decent bed in a clean room then this is good. There are no luxuries, but for the price thats yo be expected. Breakfast is offered and is reasonable, pay at reception. Parked the car for £10 for 24 hours. The car park is quite small for the size of the hotel.
I personally didn’t like how the bathroom was set out. The toilet was behind a separate door and the sink and shower were in the main area. The shower was made with obscured glass door, but you could still see the outline of the person in the shower giving very little privacy. Ok if you were travelling with a partner or spouse , not so if you were travelling with an older child as I was.

Great location. Plenty of parking. Clean. Modern. Great value for money; £35 for 2 adults and child for one night is unbeatable. Staff were friendly.
Shower was a little difficult to control the temperature, couldn't get the heating to work. Bed was a little hard for my liking. Only one lift working and was slow to arrive. But these were not inconveniences really.

It’s cheap, comfy and convenient
Had a weird experience with the staff, booked a triple room as needed two beds as was staying with a friend - was given only a double bed room and when we went back to ask for the room we paid for was told it should only be for three people (even tho we had paid for that room) after hesitation was given the room and we asked for two keys (as we wanted to do our own thing for a bit) and she said no as they might not have enough if they sell out? (It was 5pm and I could see a massive stack of cards) and told to come back later. Spoke with the other staff member who was lovely and gave us the the card no problem (think the other staff member just wanted to be difficult)
