location was ok
checked into my twin room, to be told 5 mins later, i had an upgrade to an Exec Suite. It did not meet my expectation whatsoever. this upgraded room had no heating turned on and was freezing.
Accommodation was dreadful.
windows were single glazed and full of condensation
Accommodation was generally shabby and not at all well kept and maintained
I would not recommend a stay here.

Budget hotel in the centre of Cheltenham. No frills, just basic but all reflected in the price. Very convenient for amenities and town centre.
Was clean, comfortable, and staff very helpful.
Would definatly stay again.
My only 'con' if I have to find one is the £10 parking nightly but the carpark is gated underneath the hotel so very secure.

Location was good right in the centre.
The outside of the hotel would not encourage anyone staying there. The Hotel on the whole needs a big overhaul. I payed a small fortune to stay there because of race week. Totally overpriced .

The breakfast was really good. It was continental but ample food was available and it was always stocked up as we were going through. A good selection too!
Rooms were clean and tidy, I had a disabled room as I was staying with my elderly Nanna and she cant get into a shower cubicle and this was a walk in wet room so was perfect for her needs. Was a lift in the hotel and even one into the hotel entrance as there is stairs to go up so would be perfect for wheel chair access.
The car park was limited spacing but we were able to pre-book a disabled space on request which was very kind of the staff. Its also basically right on the main high street so it took me about 3 mins to walk into town which was nice when I needed some things I forgot for a wedding I was attending!
There was only one pillow and it was a little thin so I would have liked an additional pillow but I just folded mine in half so it was not too much of an issue.

Beware - this hotel has closed and is now a private property. When I went to the hotel I encountered a group of rather shady looking men who told me that the hotel is now a private property and no longer exists. Shame on you Booking.com for listing a property that no longer exists. Booking com took the full payment from me in April. The first day of my trip was ruined as I had to spend quite a lot of time finding alternative accommodation. The trip ended up costing three times the price of the original. Disgraceful way to treat a loyal Booking.com customer.
