The staff on reception were nice . The room was ok.
The breakfast isn’t good . Pre made cold toast. No food and told to wait. The food is not very nice. The breakfast over all was shocking for the price I paid for the night . Nothing topped up. The only good thing was the fella was polite. I had two hours sleep I did connect reception and the people above made a noise all night. This I do not blame the staff for I wouldn’t stay again .

Good location: 10 min walk from city centre, it felt OK walking back in the dark.
We were very disappointed with our original room, mainly because, in order to have a warm shower, the only option was a trickle of water. I understand it's a 3 star hotel and we'd booked a basic room but a warm shower with adequate water pressure, should be expected.

Loved the whole hotel which as the name suggests is an old mill located next to a canal. The gym and other facilities within the hotel were first class. The room was very clean and comfortable.
We stopped for a couple of days and really enjoyed the stay it was probably one of the better hotels we have stayed at. All the staff were excellent and took time to talk to the guests and are a major plus for the hotel. I would have no hesitation in visiting this hotel again and would highly recommend it to anyone.
To be honest we loved everything probably the one thing that could be improved upon would be the choice of food in the evening. The food itself was good just the choice was lacking.

The room was spacious and lovely and the view of the canal from our window was beautiful.
It was in a good location within a short easy walk to the main attractions.
The bathroom was a little dated but taps etc worked ok. Part of the soap dispenser kept falling off though.

The staff are excellent, friendly service throughout. The breakfast is good and I did enjoy the morning view across the canal. My room was good enough but a bit basic. Bed was ok. Was woken by a guest in room above. Location is very good for walking, once I had worked out how to get in from each side of the canal. Enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi.
