Although parking advertised for 6 cars, there is limited space to manoeuvre and if the car park's full, you may have to move your car for others to access/exit. Property description does mention number of stairs but be aware that top floor is a climb if you're not very mobile! A light over the mirror in the bathroom would be helpful.

The property was immaculate and the hosts very knowledgeable about things happening the days we were there. Great recommendations on where to eat, etc. The bed was super comfy. The bathroom was nicely updated. Plenty of hangers for clothing in the wardrobe. I'd stay again if the opportunity arose.
On holiday you may want to have your breakfast a bit later than their limited time frame. That said, the breakfast was delicious with many choices. The internet was a bit wobbly in our room. Many posters complained about the big hill you have to walk up to get to the property. But we thought of it as a way to work off the fish n chips and scones with clotted cream!

From the sweet treats on the bed when we arrived to the crisp clean room and bath, to the delicious breakfast, to the thoughtfulness of having easy to plug in outlets by the bed and a mirror for makeup....it was the little things and the big things that made our stay just wonderful. The beach was at the bottom of the hill...an easy walk!

I had a warm welcome from Mark and a tour of the facilities, I was met by the cosy double with perfect finishing touches.
A selection of local teas, wine glasses and even a cork screw.
The bathroom didn't disappoint either with luxury hand and body wash, a shower cap, as well as four luscious soft towels. (EXCELLENT shower pressure too).
The bed was super comfortable with lovely pillows and an extra fluffy blanket was available under the bed if needed. We also loved the convince of the plug in radiator as it was still chilly at the start of March, but even without the central heating sufficed.
We awoke to a beautiful day and the smell of coffee as we left our room. A continental selection was available whilst we waited for our hot breakfast. Both had excellent choice and paired with great service.

This is a charming and refreshing place to stay. The interior invokes the beautiful surroundings with gorgeous art work and excellent attention to detail.
The room we stayed in was room 7 and was huge! This was bordering on a small apartment with spaces to lounge sleep, change and wash.
The bed was very comfortable, the shower excellent, and earplugs provided and necessary! Our one complaint is out of control of our hosts; a flock of very loud seagulls greeting one another at around 5.30am outside our window. The location of the hotel beyond this small inconvenience is excellent. A 7 minute walk to Falmouth town center for your restaurants, bars and shops.
Were we to come to Falmouth again, I would not hesitate booking The Westcott again.

The location is excellent—just a few minutes’ walk to the beach, where there is a nice restaurant, and only about 15 minutes to the city centre and harbour, with plenty of shops and dining options. Very happy with our choice to stay here! The location is very convenient, only a 5 min walk to the beach which has a restaurant/bar as well, and 20 min into town, which means you can park your car and walk everywhere - even to Pendennis Castle if the weather allows! The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, and they let you pet their dogs which is always a bonus! Home cooked breakfast was lovely and they had more options than we expected. The room and bathroom was incredibly clean with lots of natural light, and the bed was SO comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place!
This was *not an issue* during our stay but the parking is tight and may not be convenient for people who come and go with their car multiple times a day. We mostly walked so didn't mind being parked in. The breakfast room is quite intimate and because the breakfast slot is so short, you can expect to be talked to by other guests, as you're all in one small room at the same time.
