Cleanliness but bed was uncomfortable. Window only opened a little bit and close to the floor and dogs could have found their way out of it and on 3rd floor. No back yard/garden for dog to use early morning had to use front pebbled area. The room was hot with no air had an electric fan on all night to cool the room but noise of it had no sleep. Only toast available and asked to use cafe for fried breakfast 2 doors down.

Good quite location and about 10 minute walk to the north side and a 20 minute walk via streets to south side ,parking permit provided for free for length of stay .10% discount at cafe a few doors down and reasonably priced .and short walk to a local park with cafe and peddle boats and local cinema ,owner very accommodating ,and room was number 5 had all needed for a short stay .

This is our 3rd time staying here at North Sands Lodge. Marianne is friendly and welcoming. Gave us some great recommendations for places to go. Room was clean and tidy, and bed very comfy. A short walk to the beach and Peasholme park. Really like the fact you can use the kitchen downstairs too to store and prepare your own food.

The location was good for getting to the party we were attending. The bedroom smelt very clean and the bed was comfy.
The on-suite was very small and hard to move around and get dry. The check out time of 10am is a bit too early, when you can't check in till 4pm. You don't feel you get enough time to relax. We struggled for sockets to charge phones etc.

Very nice owner. Lovely decorated clean room. Dog friendly, a beautiful park just around the corner. Perfect for one night.
For our older dog the top floor was a bit much because of the many stairs. Next time I would just ask which floor the room is in advance to prefend such matter.

Fantastic location. Marianne is a lovely host and went well out of her way to make us feel comfortable. We were left to come and go and the room was adequate for one night, if a little on the small side. The bathroom was a good size.
The bed was so uncomfortable. It felt like the springs had gone so when we laid on it, it tipped to one side and I spent most of the night trying not to roll out of bed. Bit of an uncomfortable sleep the night before a race.

The location and everything was within 15 minutes walk from the lodge and the lodge has a homie feeling when U walk through the front door and U are not far from north bay if u want to go and look at the sea and get some fresh sea air

Nice walk over to scarbrough town/upto the castle never met the lady that owns it as she had something important to attend but she did let us know in advance and left keys/permit somewhere for us and allowed us to arrive at any point so was able to book in way earlier

Lovely friendly welcome from Marianne as always, room was lovely and clean and tea and coffee making facilities too. Bed was super comfy too. Location is ideal for both the North and South ends of Scarborough too. Nice quiet area too for a good nights sleep.

Good communication from a lovely landlady. Location is ok, close to the north bay, which has some attractions, though most life is on the south bay. Combined lounge and kitchen area has fridge, microwave, kettle and induction hob with a dining table to sit at
