The customer service by all was excellent. The breakfast included was excellent. Due to the effects of Storm Goretti (sp?) we did not venture out to explore the neighbourhood.
The room lacked a night table on one side which was inconvenient. The mattress was very worn, having lost its firmness on the sides probaby due to heavy customers. I found myself sliding off the mattress but thought it was only 3 nights so thought I could manage 3 nights. Unfortunately during the last night at Voco, I was getting up to visit the lavatory & I slid off the bed onto the floor hitting my head on the wall. My husband mentioned this on checking out. I think management should check all the mattresses. I doubt heavy people notice this, but lighter people do.

Nice modern hotel that was very close to the cruise ship terminal. Member of staff on the check in desk was fantastic and made sure to give us a room with a view so we could see the ship we were sailing on arrive in the morning.
Very pleasant staff and would recommend to anyone in the area. Good bars and restaurants near by to get a nice meal.

The room was fabulous! nicely decorated and fresh, the bed was super comfortable and a super drenching shower! Breakfast was great, lots of selection. The whole deco was modern and really well presented. The staff were all helpful, polite and professional. The location was great and within walking distance of Southampton.
Nothing, all was super, I could not find any faults at all. My only constructive element is you have to pay £20 a night for parking, which I thought was a bit steep.

What a gorgeous hotel as soon as I arrived a member of staff came out took my suitcases off me and when I had checked in he took them to my room the staff are so welcoming well done Voco
The aircon doesn't stay on for long so I was a bit cold but that's just personal preference and again the pillows a little soft but again down to personal preference not the fault of the hotel

Sorry to say breakfast was not good. At 9.30am all the hot food was dry and had been on display for a long time. We were hungry so accepted it. Batch cooking needs to happen, and the food on display needs to be monitored.

Great location, really close to the ports for ferries and cruises and a short walk to Westquay Shopping Centre. Very clean and tidy throughout with a sense of calm. Staff were so friendly and helpful in getting the right room. Room was immaculate with a very comfortable bed. Little chiller for drinks etc was very useful. Really surprised at how poor the breakfast was! We arrived down to breakfast at 09:40am (Saturday) and opted for the full english. Only to find, everything was cold! Tasteless sausages, cold food and what was there was limited.
The breakfast - had it not been as part of my deal, there's absolutely no way I'd be paying £25pp for that.

Checkimg in staff sent me to the wrong room when checking in. The man checking me in seemed more interested in doing other things whilst checking me in. Not very attentive. Then the rooms was so hot and unable to turn down the a/c. Paid for parking, but recieved a fine through the post that I had to get cancelled. It was cancelled, but a big inconvenience.
