Everything! The hotel is located in the perfect place for getting to the beach or having a wander into the centre.
The staff were so friendly and helpful. They couldn’t do enough for you.
The facilities at Riviera lodge were wonderful, especially the outdoor pool. We was fortunate to get the sun so enjoyed cocktails by the pool.
They also have a hot tub which you can book a time slot for per couple which makes it more private. We booked this after a 10mile walk so it was well needed!
Our room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed.
We had breakfast every morning which we enjoyed- top quality ingredients, full of flavour and service with a smile.
The only negative that we have was the bed! It was either the springs in the mattress or the wooden bed frame but every time we moved, it was very creaky which didn’t make for a good nights sleep. It would not put us off staying again though as this is something that could easily be resolved.

Fab stay at Riviera Lodge! All staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was a pleasurable one, fresh cooked breakfast with no hesitation to provide you with more if required and the room was clean, comfortable and lovely. My husband forgot his shoes when we checked out and when we went to collect the owner couldn’t have been more helpful. Would highly recommend and we will return.

So clean, spotless actually! Staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble.
Loved the pool and hot tub, lovely area to just chill out. And the pool table was an added bonus. Drink prices were really reasonable too.
My only gripe would be the bed, (mattress and pillows) it was so hard. So didn’t sleep well, tossed and turned all night but appreciate that it’s personal choice.

My friend and I arrived earlier then the stated check-in time and they let us in very quickly. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and we booked the hot tub twice - without any waiting - at all.
The room was clean, we went for breakfast twice in the morning and the service was efficient and quite quick. Breakfast was excellent.
The location of the hotel is near the beach/town centre yet it's in a quiet area.
There was a bar was inside the hotel and they were playing nice music all the time.
If you wanted to stay outside on the patio at night you could - they had blankets ready by the door nearby.
Facilities were amazing (hot tub, swimming pool, chess, pool)
We recommend staying at this particular hotel.
There was a spider inside our room behind a picture that was on the wall.
The room smelled moldy and had a strange smell.

The pictures make everything looks a lot bigger than real life. It is a little lodge with an absolutely amazing character. I believe it is run by the owners, who certainly go the extra mile to make your visit the most friendly, welcoming and charming. A lot of attention has been paid to the details inside the rooms and around the whole place. Everything is so functional, delicate, elegant and sweet. You can't help but feel "Aaaaahhhh".
Breakfast choices are not many, but all food is freshly and nicely prepared. They give you all the local knowledge as well about where to eat, where to go and so on. Very good location to the sea, city centre and other attraction, but no sea view.
The room was too small, but we did not mind very much as we were out most of the day and the bar and pool area was very comfortable to use in the evening.

The Hotel was spotlessly clean & the hosts - Nicky & John were extremely helpful & caring. The pool and surrounding area were as good as, if not better than, any hotel on the continent. Facilities in the lounge/bar were great.
Whilst there was a lot of parking, for which we were grateful, the parking area was on a slope & spaces were marked out diagonally; this made driving out quite difficult & stressful.
