Room was lovely, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast very good, and there is a beautiful garden. Neil is a very good host. Covid precautions were excellent.

Access to rooms for anyone with mobility issues might prove difficult. It would be worth asking the proprietor in advance. The town centre is a bit of a walk, and quite hilly.

We had a really pleasant stay at Trafalgar House and a superlative find it was. It’s very clean, homely and comfortable. The decor is beautiful and one of the most comfortable beds I’ve stayed in. The location is great and in a nice quiet area, a short walk away from the seafront. Breakfast was scrumptious and there’s a great selection to choose from, including the delicious homemade jams and marmalade. Neil and Noom are fantastic hosts and kindly surprised us with Easter eggs on Easter Sunday. Thank you for a lovely stay! Sarah and Louis

A warm welcome from Neil on arrival. He had txt that morning to say what time our room would be ready. He gave us a.map of the area which was a nice touch and also booked us a taxi to take us to an Indian restaurant nearby that he had recommended. The room was fabulous, we felt at home and comfortable as soon as we walked in. It was spotlessly clean as was the bathroom, and the shower was easy to use. We had been given a bottle of fresh water, but with no fridge,it was just warm water,so for us,it probably was a waste of water, but a nice touch for those that want it. We also had wine glasses in the room, which came in very handy. Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice ,with fruit, nuts, yogurt, muesli and several cooked options. The quality of the cooked breakfast ingredients was great, clearly local meat and eggs. It was about a 20 mins walk to the harbour which was fine for us. A really excellent stay, we definitely recommend Trafalgar house if you fancy a stay in Torquay.

A beautiful Victorian villa set in a tree lined street, that was really homely with a very pretty garden. The breakfast was really delicious with lots to choose from. Really clean and beautifully kept. Neil was really helpful with tips of where to go, but my highlight was Millie the boxer she was so beautiful and had the softest coat ever!

Bathroom just slightly bigger and a little more power in the shower but not enough to not go back again was overall a lovely stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Trafalgar House, from the moment we arrived until we left! It's all the little touches that made it special! Neil couldn't have done anything more to make our stay better, we felt very relaxed and comfortable, he even remembered my sister's name after she met up with us one morning. Definitely one of the best B&B's we have ever stayed in!

Our sat nav had trouble finding it, and there is no shaver point in the bathroom for charging our toothbrush, but as we were only staying three nights it wasn't a problem!

Neil was the perfect host. He made us really welcome. The breakfast was really good. We were upgraded to a Superior room, which was lovely. The beds were extremely comfortable and the bedroom had fresh water, drinks and cookies replenished each day. All in all a superb place to stay.

The only downside was that it was a little far out of the town, but Neil explained a quicker route, which was easier and we used the 62 bus to go to Cockington and back (a circular route)and the Number 12 bus to Torquay, Paignton and Brixham. We also had a steak at Mr Cook just down the road which was excellent. We would definitely stay here again and would certainly recommend Trafalgar House.

A very calm and beautiful environment, faultless attention to detail, high quality breakfast ingredients: delicious homemade jam, wonderful eggs and tea. Neil is a very thoughtful host. I was given a room upgrade and even a tea upgrade for my room! The location was perfect because it was both central enough and quiet. The garden really enhanced the spaces even though it was too wet to sit out in.

I liked everything - the only improvement I can think of would be adding veggie bacon to the cooked vegetarian breakfast and/or putting something like eggs florentine on the menu. Really though this is quibbling because I so enjoyed the breakfasts.
