Housekeeping was a bit hit or miss. One night they arranged my little one’s teddies with a Kit Kat as treat but conversely our dirty mugs were not replaced the entire stay. I would also say the noise from rooms above us was a lot.

Room was very hot and unfortunate the pillows were really uncomfortable.
The pool had a lot of loc older residents which then meant the children could t play as it was clear from them that they felt they had priority over the pool, the children were disappointed not to be able to swim or play.

The leisure suite was a bonus and good for families especially as the shallow end is not very deep and therefore safe for little ones .

The staff are very friendly and want to make you feel comfortable. They are probably the best part of the stay. Also the room I had 226 is great as it's a family room but very big with 2 singles and a double. Ample room and very comfortable. Sometimes hotel rooms make me feel claustrophobic and I have to go out for walks but I was fine there. There were a couple of issues with the room nothing major but staff were on hand to make sure they could resolve the issues. The swimming pool was nice and although it was very busy due to it being half term they had a system to ensure it wasn't overcrowded. There was a storm and half term so I probably say it at its busiest. As I'm a single dad with my younger daughter the benefit of having a family room was so good, and not one everyone is fighting for there were actually 3. Made it so much more less awkward than her changing in the male changing room.
I must say my only gripe was the prices of the food at the restaurant. I know I don't need to eat here and with Uber eats and deliveroo it was silly too. However I wanted something that was not fast food as we had it the day before. There was a literal storm outside so I didn't want to go out. So we tried room service. I found the prices really high. Maybe I'm getting old.bur £18 for a main meal which in all honesty could just be oven food seemed high to me. The main meal was just about right for my younger daughter too, so portions are not big. I know overheads must be really high etc.. however I'm just saying it as I see it. I suppose next time I should order in Ans expect to have fast food for a couple of days.

We chose a executive room and it was lovely, recently refurbished, even brand new kettle and coffee pod machine, there were extras inc kitkats, bottled water ,biscuits chiller. Lovely big bed. No view, just a side of building but it was only for one night. Situated end of promenade, ample parking. We went there for a show at pavilion. Would use pool next time. Didn't have breakfast, as chose room only, but looked in and food looked very good

The coffee at breakfast was terrible and was the worst I have tasted for a while. The sign outside said Lavazza coffee but apparently you can only get that when the bar is open and I guess you have to pay for it.
Please remove the sign as it’s misleading!

At first I have received the room which I was not happy with - it had backyard view, frosty window and noisy kitchen extractor outside the window (spending 3 days with this would be depressing).
