Hotel is quite old, so rooms are TINY and outdated. No room to put suitcase etc. And AC so old that when it starts up, you cannot sleep.
Breakfast complementary. Very basic. Styrofoam plates, plastic forks etc.
I paid a ridiculously high rate due to conference. Have stayed in better hotels downtown for the value!

The breakfast was absolutely wonderful. Everything was fresh and the coffee is the best coffee I’ve ever had in a hotel. The rings were very clean. The beds slept well. The location of our room was very quiet in the evening and the location of the hotel itself was exceptional. I could not have been happier.
I cannot think of anything that I disliked! I will definitely share this hotel with anyone who’s going to Chicago and will stay there again

Plenty of grab handles around the bath and shower area to prevent slipping.
Good supply of Dove shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion.
Despite being a queen room, it was very small. Wardrobe space was exceptionally small with no hanging room for dresses and shirts. No milk in room to make drinks, had to ask reception twice for some.
Breakfast room really small for the number of guests. Eating off plastic plates and bowls with plastic cutlery. Limited choice, only 3 cereals. Hot breakfast was sausage, bacon and scrambled egg. Scrambled egg ran out one morning with over an hour left to go. No yoghurts one morning, only a few apples and oranges. Staff in breakfast room not very friendly, although reception staff were helpful.

We booked our reservation on Booking.com and there were no age restrictions to check in. Once we got there, we weren’t allowed to check in. Additionally, we weren’t offered any other hotel options and they wouldn’t send me an email assuring me that they would waive the cancellation fee. To make things better, they charged the whole stay after one week and didn’t even send a notice to me before charging my card.

Awful management of the invoicing process.
This is why I have such a low mark. I have booked and prepaid via booking. At the checkout I could not get the physical invoice, since I was told from the reception that they would have sent it later on.
Not having received it I HAD TO PHONE (from Italy!! No answer via booking or via email), and I have been told that there was an error not being my email an american. I provided them an American email but I could not get any invoice again. I called again few days later and at this point I was told that I should ask the invoice to Booking.com (which is totally wrong).
Next time to avoid all of this a simple paper invoice at the checkout would be enough.
Such a poor customer experience guys. I’m having troubles with my company since I have nothing but the booking reservation related to this business trip.
The hotel overall was legit, with an ok breakfast too, but for sure I’m not coming back.

The room was on the smaller size for sure. I had a queen size bed, and a desk and a small bathroom felt like a college dorm room, but the value is perfect.

Not comfortable for taking shower, very small bathroom , dirty door, old floor including toilet floor got wet when you take shower... Overall nuts happy at all with the cuteness of bathroom and shower. Sheets and covers also didn't seems clean they made me itchy..
Besides the view of my room was terrible. The hotel room was mostly similar to nursing center room than a hotel room...
Besides we paid much more expensive rate due to high demand of accommodations from conference attendees... What I paid even was more expensive than my hotel at Baltimore which was four star hotel with a great view.

Room cleaning was not daily in the initial 2-3 days of my stay. After feedback to the staff, the room service cleaning was daily thereafter. Another inconvenience is there is no kettle available to boil water in our rooms and have to go to the breakfast area at L1 to refill my water daily (2-3 times as I drink a lot of water).

It was a decent place to stay
I was guaranteed in writing that I would have a room with a view of the Magnificent Mile Lights Parade and we did not! Our first room was on the 4th floor and faced north. Then after stating our preference again, we were given a room on the 10th floor, but again, facing the wrong way. Then the staff member escorted us to a room on the 7th floor, facing the right way, but not high enough to see Michigan Avenue. She claimed she had no rooms left. When I asked to speak with the manager, she claimed there was no manager there. I found that shocking as it was such a busy night. Therefore our stay was ruined because the only reason we chose this hotel was to be able to watch the parade from our room! Even the next morning I was told that the manager would be in at 9:00 am, but she was not.

Also the girls from the reception were very nice. I had a problem with the bed of my room and they changed to another room immediately. The staff was super nice! The location is great, in a safe area of the city, close to . Breakfast is good, although it ran out rather quickly. Early check-in on availability.
Coming by car is not the best move. You have to find a spot on the street to park and not get a citation, to check-in, then an additional $50+ to park in a garage with no guarantee of security.
We didn't have a shower curtain in our room.

The romms had a lot of espace etween the entry room and the floor so the heating of the room didn’t work. It is a old building so it looks a very bad conditions the walls and floors. Not very good food in the breakfast

The air conditioner in our room 408 was very noisy turning on and off all night. No view from our room, interior brick wall. Small! Only 1 mirror in bathroom. The sink faucet sprays super hard and gets you all wet. The sink has barely any room for makeup and hair essentials, only little shelf ledge on mirror provided. Only 1 person can get ready in the mirror at a time. Would be nice if they added a long mirror in the entry way.
