It smells musty everywhere. It doesn't matter what room you get. This is not our first day here there is a wet, musty smell to every room on the property and the people hanging out in and around the lobby are very suspicious.

The lobby did get a little busy at times with large groups waiting. The smell of the lobby was divine!!
The location can't be beat. An easy walk to the hustle and bustle but it itself was on a relaxed street. Heaps of incredible restaurants and bars in just blocks away. The target around the corner was very handy.

The room was nice once they gave us a better one I reserved the one bedroom suite and The first room we had was like a prison. it was awful the furniture was old it smelt like no one had stayed in there in ages. It was a smaller suite. We called up and the receptionist stated we had to wait to see if anyone checked out in the morning to change rooms.. however when I called in the morning there were rooms to change immediately. Considering it was my partners birthday that was a bit annoying.
The phone in the living room didn’t work. The tv in the living room didn’t allow us to connect to our phone, the remotes didn’t work! This was all communicated to reception staff who told us someone would come à replace the items or check the tv.. none of that happened. The rooftop was booked out for the weekend so we was unable to use it unless we paid $85 pp considering this is one of the reasons we booked this hotel for the rooftop views, again annoying we couldn’t access this part of the hotel. In my opinion I was already paying too much for what I got, so wasn’t trying to pay more to use hotel facilities

The suite is not bigger then the queen room the pull out couch was to big for the space that when pulled out you had no space to walk you had to climb over bed to get out. I was so jet-lagged when I arrived, and the room really helped me to relax and recover. The bed is very comfortable. Nice city view from my window as well.
Delicious food from the restaurant downstairs. I also enjoyed the cocktails from the rooftop bar.
Small water leakage from the minibar in my room on the first day. But the staff was very attentive and quickly fixed it.

Impersonal but very dated. 4th floor “rooftop” bar/club/??? Is an expensive joke. Huge holes in fabric of banquettes, wait staff unelegant - mention this solely because they make a BIG deal on website about expected dress code and charge you for the privilege of being allowed to go in!? Quite bizarre as there were folks in shorts and sports gear. TIP: If you must go in (as other bar boring) just go to bar and don’t reserve.

the rooftop employees need to work on being kind the person checking ID the bouncer was very rude and at the checkin after you get upstairs the ladies were not nice
