I don't normally provide reviews for things that I've experienced, but I hope to help someone make an appropriate decision regarding their stay at Hotel Indigo. The first thing that I would like to point out is that there is no on site parking available for guests. There is a paid valet service or there is a "go find yourself a self park location somewhere". For all intents and purposes, this is a bait and switch. I chose this location for an event that I would be attending in the city and was unable to park my own vehicle in a guest "on-site" parking lot and was charged $45 for the valet service. Classic Bait and Switch. The second thing that was VERY disappointing was that I reserved a King room that did not actually include a King bed. I do not normally sleep on a queen bed but this seemed smaller then that and maybe even the size of a full. I have stayed in may hotels and when I reserve a King room, I kind of expect a King bed. The need to pay for valet and the unexpected tiny bed will ensure that I do not stay in another hotel owned by IHG.

This hotel is close to rocket mortgage fieldhouse which is great for going to the Cleveland Monsters game! The hotel has a nice restaurant and bar as well. Checking in and out is a breeze. They offer valet parking that is an extra 45 for the night, which is not terrible since you would be paying that same price to park it yourself somewhere.

My only complaints are that for a 2 queen bed room for 4 adults, you should at least get 4 bath towels in the room and their elevators were in need of repair. One was completely down and the other was malfunctioning and running really slow. I am sure this is something they are working to correct. I will definitely stay here again.

The hotel is beautiful with a lot of Cleveland history around, especially in the dining area. They had hot apple cider, hot chocolate and a tray of cookies all evening in the lobby. There was a saxophone player also which we enjoyed. The food was very good from the bar area.

Our room on the second floor was a convenient location since you had to wait a long time for the one elevator. However, the room was right by the elevator, room 215, and we could hear the very noisy elevator all night long going up and down. So that was not very good for us.

Cannot recommend this property enough! Firstly, upon arrival, I was greeted with the most wonderful staff member who kindly checked me in, and even provided a wealth of local touristic activities and excursions. I felt safe immediately upon arrival. Now onto the room, which is even more beautiful than the photos do it justice! Modern, impeccably clean and pristine, I almost didn't want to leave my room. Amazing selection of channels on the TV also, and very clean, modern and entertaining bathroom (the bathroom walls had newspaper print on them! Great to read as I showered). The room had amazing heat units and A/C, as well as great lighting and really great availability of power outlets. The location of the hotel is phenomenal - right by downtown. Overall, I absolutely adored my stay at this modern, clean and beautiful hotel and cannot recommend it enough. Would love to return.

The closeness to the rocket mortgage fieldhouse

The night staff and valet…very rude. Me and my boyfriend have never been to Cleveland, we asked questions about valet & the room policies. The valet man wasn’t being very clear on how it worked, I had accidentally clicked I was ready for service when he was showing me how to do it- he got very rude and scuffed at me. The front desk man just seemed very judgmental, wouldn’t speak clearly or explain why my room needed to change. While we did have to check out early, the morning staff was very friendly and accommodated me and my boyfriend. I just wished for a better experience, I understand that people have bad days but it just was very difficult and disappointing for our first visit to Cleveland. Room was clean, elevators were down for one night of our stay, valet was $45 for 24hrs (great since the parking garage across the street was $30 for 12hrs), nice bar down stairs and I liked how close all the restaurants were.

The location was perfect we were there for raw at rocket mortgage fieldhouse. This was our first family trip so we were able to valet our car and just walk to the show! Beds were comfy, pillows were fluffy, loved the peppermint shampoo!! That was a bonus for me. The window blinds were better than most places only a little light let in. The valet followed the instructions on my janky car.

The coffee pot in the room was not working properly took ten min to get it to register it had a k-cup in it. Definitely not enough cream and sugar had to go to the restaurant and wait for someone to get you some. I'm a huge coffee person so that a big one for me. Also if you need to warm up food there is only 1 microwave and that's all the way down in the lobbys shop area. Oh and the bathroom lights need a dim option boy those are bright lights when some wakes up to pee in the middle of the night.

The staff was horrible( the lady who checks you in with glasses). The room had no remotes for the tvs, after calling 3 times she finally sent someone up. We did not stay here but 2 hours. Also the valet parking sucks as well as we had to wait an hour to even get our car to leave. ( understandable there is a game but this should be told at check in). Was not asked why we were leaving after only 2 hours, will never stay here again. A waste of $300!!!

LOCATION!!! Right across from the parking garage from the Arena and Ballfield share so it took 2 minutes max to get to the Cavs game!!! My previous hotel didn't have my reservation and I booked this one on the way there. It was 10am and my room was ready!!! Super comfy beds and pillows that IHG are known for (I'd buy them for my house!). There were plenty of lights and lots of places to plug in chargers. This room was huge as well and had a coffeemaker (with coffee and tea) and bottled water. It was everything I needed. The room was spotless, the hotel was clean, and what staff is encountered were awesome...the 2 guys running valet were great too! Always had a smile on their faces, which was a nice addition to the day. Finally, I loved that leaving the DND sign on the door meant I really isn't get disturbed...thank you housekeeping!!!

The water pressure and controlling the hotel water sucked. It was either scalding or freezing. And no noise issues until the last night but that's not the hotel's fault. I screamed some cuss words and banged on the ceiling and they shut up. I never had breakfast bc it was in the restaurant and I would really just prefer to run down and grab and go, but like I said, not the hotel's fault simply my preference. This hotel is a GEM!!!

Location was the most appropriate for the Rocket Arena. One staff member was terrific - I believe his name was Devon. He is the building maintenance/engineer I believe. Cheerful, helped fix the room problems immediately, even helped with a few things the housekeeping staff should have done. He was the definite plus of our stay.

Housekeeping was almost non existent. Emptied trash one day and never saw again. Heater did not work, was fixed. Window covering fell down - eventually fixed. Shoiwer heads so high I could not reach. Part of it didn't work anyway. Window left open and cold air flooding in - again Devon fixed. Closing times for restaurant and bar were rediculous -- especially with one of the countries biggest sporting events - come on folks, stay open a little later. Parking cost was rediculous as well. Front desk staff seemed out of their element - got different answers from each one.

Location adjacent to Playhouse Square was extremely convenient. The restaurant was nice and for the most part, we found the employees friendly.

The rooms were somewhat run down, with peeling paint and dirty spots on the ceilings and walls. The drains didn't work properly. The valet parking was very slow and disorganized --- it took almost 30 minutes to get our car --- and very expensive, considering how inconvenient it was.
