Pool needed cleaning. Lobby area needs to have better and more seating and an inviting atmosphere. It's very bland. Outdoor seating needs revamped. Windows need replacing. Breakfast layout and dinning needs revamped

Our experience started most excellently. We arrived at 7 am and after an all-night flight, we were beat. Even though check-in was not going to be until 3 pm, the night manager checked us in immediately and we were able to get our bags put in the room and grab some breakfast. The breakfast was top-notch! It was well stocked, had a very large variety of food, was clean and comfortable and modern. The breakfast staff was on top of everything there. This hotel was well-run, well-managed, and kind. Our stay was most comfortable. We were there for 5 days.
We loved everything! We literally had no complaints.

Vehicle parking $9 per night and our Vehicle got broken into. Staff expressed concern...wink wink.
Police no help and seemed to know who the perpetrator was but no help. Parking lot " security" useless. Manager never supplied security video because camera not positioned correctly and blocked by trees. NOT THE FIRST BREAKIN AT THIS PROPERTY!. Managed comped us one nights stay which did not begin to cover the $4-5 THOUSAND loss.

I love the fact that I was greeted by the front desk with one amazing young man, he told me on the phone that he would make my check in easy so I could go get rest, he even made a joke that I didn't catch on to at first but it was funny. They had complimentary bottled water for the guests.
The only thing I didn't like was they didn't have a microwave in the room and I was on the second floor having to go downstairs to warm food. Then having to wait until a few people finish.

I wasn't well enough to venture out of the hotel for the 2 and a half days I stayed, after picking up a bad infection in the UK. I was going back home to Australia via the States, and had 2 days in Dallas. The room size was great, bathroom facilities were great, and the staff were friendly and accommodating.
Nothing, I'm not a fussy traveller.

Closeness to places we wanted to visit. Rooms were nice-sized.
Refrigerator was unplugged because two outlets were to serve three electricity dependent devices (desk lamp, coffee maker, and refrigerator).
Breakfast area was freezing cold. Perhaps due to the thermostat for the area being by the waffle makers. Move one or the other. ( Staff were wearing coats in the area.)

Breakfast was good, waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, fruit, yogurt, milk, orange juice & cereal. Room was quiet. The bed was firm, but comfortable. Paul was working the front desk and he was very nice. Sheila in the breakfast area was very busy and did a great job.
Finding 2 roaches crawling on the wall. Management was notified and will spray.

- breakfast was stressful as the area was very small and cramped as the hotel was busy and the area was not fit fit capacity. Get to breakfast early as you won’t get a table (I had to eat in my room when I didn’t get there early enough)
- all of the single use plastic during breakfast is unacceptable and so irresponsible. I don’t understand why hotels in USA continue to use plastic plates, cups etc when they can switch to more sustainable options
- location isn’t the best. 10 min Uber to both downtown and uptown Dallas. Next time I would definitely stay in more central area.

Most of the staff was pleasant there is one staff member that was short with us and not pleasant to work with.
The check in clerk would not work with us on changing our room, charged us for an extra room, then tried to charge us for parking.
The hotel did not have a King bed like we paid for, so they put us in a double queen room. Then would not comp us for the inconvenience of changing our room. After that was all done she came back to ask us for more money to park.

Breakfast. The 2 men that worked the desk, one night shift, one day shift. Getting to log into my prime account on TV. Extremely close to the event we were attending.
I have stayed in much nicer rooms for this price. Even in Lake Dallas/Corinth area. Maybe the rooms in Dallas are more expensive for less quality or maybe it's because I used booking.com while I usually use priceline.
The smell of roach spray as soon as I walked in was a real downer.
Beds not really comfortable. Bathrooms need a refresh.
Carpet on the floors. Appliances in room old and scuffed. The smoking area right close to the back door, which we utilized to take my grandson swimming, was depressing, like I walked through a homeless camp or drug rehabilitation center. Also, I don't smoke and detest cigarette smoke anywhere I go.
We noticed there was a hallway on our floor that said "quiet area". Why isn't the whole floor a quiet area? Our room was right behind the only elevator in the entire hotel and it was loud all night, you could hear the operation through the night. The cleaning crew was especially loud in the hallway hours before checkout. If I had been trying to sleep, I would have complained. I can't get my pictures to post but there were big gaps on the walks around the outlets. Bathroom really small, bar of handsome makes a huge mess when wet.

Great breakfast but only one toaster, 2 food tables are small and seating area was small. Most people took to eat at their rooms. Staff is super friendly and very helpful.
Parking is an extra $11. Could hear kids above their constant jumping. If you come in late parking is scarce.
