My experience at the Open Palette is/was noteworthy. I had the Italian Panini; if I had another stomach I would have ordered two more! What made the experience memorable was meeting and being served by Lacey. How lucky the public/Sheraton visitors are that you have Lacey to represent; she is the definition of Customer Care. My return will include checking ahead to see when / if Lacey will be in facility. I am not aware of management/leadership positions but as a U.S. Air Force veteran, Lacey personafies what we teach….

I believe it would be helpful to label the food being served.
Really really bad marks for poor preparation; specifically the elevator system. There was a scheduled event that required the movement of over one thousand people using the elevators that service the Center Tower (up to 37). Only one elevator was in operation; it took almost 90 mins to make it to move our conference attendees. Not a good look for the Marriott International Family of properties. V/r James

We were celebrating our 24th Wedding Anniversary and I had ask for a box of chocolate or chocolate covered strawberries on the bed for my wife. I was shocked that it wasn’t there when last year’s anniversary we stayes at a Sheraton in Legacy West in Plano they fulfilled the request and a bottle of wine. I left all of this in the notes both times.

The lighting in the bathroom was so low and dark that I had an issue trying to get my make up on. We had a city view from our room, but the outside of the windows were so dirty that our view was obstructed. What I didn’t like was the fact I didn’t have a microwave in my room and also the ice machines were not working. I was on the 21st floor (North Tower) Friday we had to go to the 20th floor for ice . I liked that there were a lot of stores/food options right in the hotel. I liked the South tower I stayed in was not a difficult elevator situation. There was a lot of food option but pricy. The parking was not terrible to find a spot but $30 a day. I liked the rail station being right next to the building. We liked the Skywalk connected all the surrounding towers. There is a nice little dog park and walking/fountain park.
It was a bit outdated. I was in the only tower far from the parking decks. The price was way too high for breakfast, which was very similar to a free continental breakfast. The elevator in the center tower had trouble and the north tower was confusing due to some elevators not having access to all the floor. It was confusing and a LONG wait for the elevator. This was the weekend for the NCA competitive cheer tournament., A national event.

The room was terrible for the price, the shower had only hot water and wouldn’t drain when told the front desk maintenance came pulled a blob of gross hair out said to fix it but it kept shooting extremely hot water or extremely cold . My family and I had trouble taking the quickest shower of our lives. For the price no fridge no microwave no WiFi what am I paying for they put us on the 23 floored just to view the back of the city. Couldn’t even get a city view the hotel looked empty. No water in the lobby for guess. We stayed at a 2star hotel in alien grin that had all the amenities water and coffee in the lobby and a shower that works for two less . Less than the cost of this hotel. I won’t ever come back. Then I was told the morning buffet was closed and to choose from a menu the food was terrible. Idk how this place is rated so high with such low quality very disappointed. Honestly feel ripped off

Not clear if the parking was free and included in the stay. I might have missed something. The bathtub was a bit narrow and very rounded inside. I slipped and almost hurt myself. There could be some non-slip stickers to make it safer. The coffee machine in the room could be a bit better, but it was ok. At least there was one.

I liked the area downtown and the room itself was super clean and comfortable
The staff was very unhelpful. I used Klarna to book my stay and even showed the staff memener there my receipt from where we paid. She insisted that she would only run our card for incidentals which was supposed to be around $50-100 per the staff member and she ran it. By the time we got upstairs my wife checked her bank account and they charges the whole $313 for our stay. They are not very helpful at all and we will not be staying there again.

The bed and pillows super comfortable! The hot water and shower amazing! The bathroom products great! Proximity to our venue great!! Cleanliness Great!!!

Coffee creamer came out in lumps in my in room coffee. Bagel was hard.
I was charged a $50 incidental fee upon check in after already paying for the room online, why?! No explanation.
The check in girl didn't smile and wasn't friendly at all. Felt unseen and not welcomed in any way.

They are close to lots of activities downtown.
The Parlor was closed the whole time. That meant less to do while there. The bathroom is extremely small. The entrance to the room is tight. They don't have a mini-fridge in the room. The ice machine was broken on our floor.

Awesome location in the heart of downtown and literally few steps from a Dart station for public transit. Nice, comfortable rooms, good food outletsz pretty easy stay.
You can only.access the building from the main entrance despite having doors on the four sides and streets. It was a vey busy and slow line for check-in due to Valentine's holiday (only a couple of front desk staff members trying to handle 20+ guests). The rest worked out perfectly.

Room was fairly clean, and hotels seemed to accommodate most of the conference events.
Did not like that there were additional fees charged at the property in addition to what booking.com collected in advance. Size of the room was not what I would expect for price paid. Not the safest area of town.

I like the layout of the rooms and the eating locations on site.
The property could not find my paid room reservation and the desk clerk stated " all booking to our property from bookings.com are incorrect, you need to call booking.com to help find your room". I stated no I did not, I just spoke to the manager, she was able to find my room. Better customer service at the the front desk, especially with they are late arrivals. " Yes we can help You! " should be their attitude!

It was very close to everything we wanted to do. The staff was very kind and helpful. Raj, Andy, and Junior at the bar were amazing! Eric at the front desk made our check in easy and fast. TK helped me with the elevator even though I believe he was busy going somewhere himself. Overall the best staff I’ve ever had at a Sheraton.

Your employee lied to my fiancé. She couldn’t get there the first night but the 2nd night she was refused the room I paid for. She called the hotel and was told my payment did not go through. My bank records shows payments were received . So my fiancé had to get a room somewhere else. This really affected her daughter’s graduation at SMU. I have filed a complaint and expect a refund. This was not Booking. Com fault. This was a problem with Sheraton Hotel downtown Dallas.
Was refused a room. This stay had been verified with Booking. Com and I had made special arraignments with Marriott. I was unable to be there and resolve the problem and the hotel had been given my fiancé name to avoid any problems. Marriott was also informed.
