The room was clean and well-maintained. It's an older property. But, they they clearly take pride in keeping it in good shape. Plus, the location is excellent.

The bed was a little too firm for me. But, it wasn't terrible.

The family owned hotel was very friendly and informative. The bed was very comfortable. The room size was perfect. The atmosphere was quiet. I enjoyed my stay here!

I couldn't print a document I needed to in the office but the owner directed me to H.E.B. down the road but they do not print either so I went to Busy Bee just across the street and they printed it for me. This is just FYI!

It was like stepping into grandma's house. There was a full kitchen, comfortable living room and roomy bathroom. Beds were comfy.

Maybe time for a refresh. New paint would help. Outside stairs showing wear.

The location was great. Easy to get to Main Street. Breakfast was great at the on site restaurant. Overall appeared clean.

Vents were covered in black dirt and dust, ended up with horrible allergies. Staff was friendly but seemed very short staffed. Dishes looked dirty and old. Older run down motel. Pictures made it look much nicer.

The motel is clean, safe, well appointed, and the woman working in reception was very pleasant. There is a relatively large coffee maker in the room, which came into great use in the morning, and there was a very comfortable desk (and strong Wifi) where I was able to work in the morning as well. I would certainly return if I were again in the area. Across the parking lot was also a terrific and evidently well known and well loved local diner where I had a great breakfast.

One must check in by 9pm, though otherwise there is no other problem.

Friendly staff, independent motel, reasonably priced. Good restaurant for breakfast / lunch next door.

They are renovating their rooms and unfortunately we had one of the old ones. The renovated rooms should be fine and a very good value if the prices remain the same. They will have wooden flooring while ours had a VERY dated carpet. Since we were traveling with small kids we checked out early.

Good location.

NEVER returning! Price was inflated at least 700% from normal $59 night to $446 a night due to the eclipse event! We were told we had to leave the parking lot by 11:00 AM, even though the check-in for the next day was at 3:00 PM. Absolutely no grace given despite the fact that we paid an outrageous rate for a small, outdated, motel room. Check-in process was super slow. We had to provide a driver's license and vehicle information in order to get a parking pass (a plain piece of paper with the date on it.) No vending or ice available. Room was small (as expected) with a loud, powerful A/C unit that blew open the curtain. I had to place a trash can on the sill and chairs on the side to offer any privacy. Outlets were scarce.

We stay here often....clean, friendly staff, good location. We always request beds without hard mattresses since we prefer softer ones...and they are always very accommodating to our requests.

The ice machine on site doesn't work....knowing this, we just bring in cups of ice when we come in. You can go to the lodging next door for ice.

The manager was super kind and helpful and told us they are remodeling rooms and to ask for new room next time.

The room screamed 1975 and was kind of gross with nasty comforters and shams that you know were not cleaned b/t guests. We were priced gauged cause it was the eclipse day but everyone was doing that so I can't blame them.

Breakfast was excellent at the restaurant next to the inn. It was recommended by the receptionist.

It may have been that the plumbing is old because there was a faint foul smell from the bathroom toilet. Besides that the room was very quaint and comfortable.

When you walked in it smelled like fabuloso I hate the smell of it. The towels smelled like mold. The shower tub was plugged. Water did not go down when you showered. I had to sit on side in order to bathe myself. The tub did not look like it was cleaned there were hairs left on tub.The comforter was old and again the sheets and pillows smelled like mold.

The room was well furnished and comfortable.

The bath fixtures could probably be updated with a stopper for the tub. Guests are told to put their keys in a box outside the office upon leaving/ending their reserved stay. The box was open and accessible to anyone to take a key or leave a key. Security should be enhanced for this process.
