Staff had communication issues. Asked for late check out at check in. Was woken up by staff pounding on door. Explained I had already asked for late check out was owed for 1pm. Was then called.... twice by front desk staff and rushed out of my room. The fact that I had to find a baby sitter for my 5lb dog. I have never stayed at a Motel 6 where pets were not allowed so this was a first and I did not like having to leave my dog with someone especially since he is old and 5lbs.

The location was great. Less than a block from the beach, plenty of restaurants and stores within walking distance. Beds were comfy.
It is a little outdated. The tiles in my room were cracked and the water pressure was not great. Really would have liked breakfast included in the price. We stayed for 5 days and I had to ask after day 3 for them to come clean the room, we had not gotten any clean towels, linens, TP, or soaps restocked. They won’t come clean unless you ask them to during your stay.

The location and staff were GREAT! The 2nd room they moved us to was nice and everything worked as it should after we figured out the lights were unplugged from the wall. We wished the lights were brighter instead of so dim. WE WILL STAY THERE AGAIN! :))
The backlit pole sign was not lighted at night which made it difficult to find the motel. Upon arrival, our room had not been cleaned and we had to move to another room. The wall lights in the new room didn't work. After swapping bulbs and pulling furniture away from the wall I realized the lights were unplugged from the wall. They worked after I plugged them in. We wished they were brighter instead of so dim. Other than that it was a great affordable stay! THANK YOU! :)))

This is an older building so I was surprised at how neat it was and the attention to detail the housekeeping staff put in. You could smell the bleach. If you don’t smell bleach, it is NOT clean! No beach sand on the floors at all and every surface was spotless! Again, this is an older hotel but they take care of it.

Room dirty, hair all over floor, room smells moldy, carpet filthy, furniture outdated, Roaches everywhere on walls crawling outside. Reservation does not mention any additional charges. Arrived at hotel and had to pay another $50 which they said was for incidentals. When I complained, the desk clerk said "oh don't worry, you get the $50 right back when u check out." It's been 24 hours and I still haven't receivemfffunds back I. Mm mmm f

The staff in the lobby were very cool especially angel who answered all my questions, the bed was super comfortable and the location is great there is a waffle house and McDonald's super close and it's about a 3 min walk to the beach and the 61st st fishing pier is easy to access. P.s the microwave and fridge in the room was a good extra
I didn't like that there was trash all over the parking lot (my husband and I picked up alot of it) I don't like the dingy carpet in the room that really needs to be pulled up asap and wood floor or tile needs to be put in.

Didn't get the room I signed up for so I was put in a small bed with partner, so I almost didn't stay a motel 6 anymore ., but I gave it one more chance its was at 2380 n northwest hwy .
