Staff was friendly
The room was not clean or well maintained. The toilet did not flush well, bathtub drained very slow, the sheets did not fit the king size bed as they barely fit over the top edge, the couch was filthy, the pull out couch mattress was so thin and uncomfortable, the dresser drawer in the main bedroom was broken, the air vents were extremely dirty, there was broken tile in the shower, covers missing from the shower head so you could see in the wall, the lights weren’t fit properly above the kitchenette so you could see in the ceiling, the air handler cover was open near the floor which is not safe for our two little kids, walking on the floor in the room with no shoes for 5 minutes caused our feet to be completely black, mold growing in the overflow drain hole in the sink, and we woke up every day extremely congested. I even informed the front desk of these issues and no response was taken.

The other guests. We were for a football game.
Only one functioning elevator, room was hot, the refrigerator in the room wasn't working. It had a slight smell and the ceiling in the bathroom look like it had water damage and moldy. The tub looked old.

The hotel was nice and clean. I would have given a 10 out of 10 BUT they charge 35 dollars per night for parking! This is not specified during booking nor did they tell me this when checking in!
They charge 35 dollars per night for parking! This is not specified during booking nor did they tell me this when checking in! I think this is a ridiculous up charge that should be added up front to a room reservation and not hidden to appear you are getting a good deal on a room! I would not have disagreed on the charge if it was transparent. This makes me feel like I was made a fool of athis reason, reason, i would never stay again! BTW the charge is not added to the charge in check in, it is removed from the security deposit!

The temperature of the hot water was barely above Luke warm. Happy hour was advertised as 5:30-7:30, but ended at 7:00. The front desk staff was never at the desk. Each time I went to the front desk I had to wait several minutes for someone to come out. I was charged twice and had to deal with the process of having the 2nd charge removed..

Hot breakfast was only omelets. We are a family that doesn’t eat eggs. Luckily the staff gave us some bacon to go with our pancakes

We enjoy having a separate living room apart from the bedroom. Having a bar on site is nice. Plus, there is an option to order food at the bar. The breakfast provided by the hotel is one of the best hotel breakfasts that we have had.
Biggest problem is that the property usually has only one elevator working. That can really slow down settling in the room if it is crowded

Property was very nice, Room was great with a separation of the living area and the bedroom. Area was quiet at night. I will booking this property again if I have to come back.
My only criticism is with the receptionists. Didn’t like the low professionalism of the staff. It was like the 2 members were working in a State Fair stand. When we were doing our check in. The agent was speaking on the phone with one of her “ BFF “ as the same time she was attending us. So she has to mute her phone all the time to give us some information, then unmute again and continue her conversation. Very skilled to doing that.. not doubt about it. Nice girl, but very unprofessional. Need some training there to elevate a bit the CS. Between all this. My ID was putting inside the pouch with the room keys without telling me and the pouch was giving to the my son that was in a different room. Of course when I get to the room i start looking for my ID. Back to the lobby. Ask for my Id .. no I gave it to you.. no you didn’t, yes, it inside the pouch with room keys, no it’s not.. Really…CS needs some training to elevate the standards.

Good clean facilities good location.
One of two elevators broken leading to many delays. Pool out or order for months apparently and still showing pool in search . We Selected this hotel 100 pct over others due to having an indoor pool. Very very annoyed about lack of pool.

The room was comfortable. The pullout couch bed was not bad. The evening snacks and breakfast were very nice. The Atrium was lovely.
Only one elevator worked. This was very inconvenient.
The pool was unusable because the ceiling had fallen in. I was afraid to watch television or use the wifi because I didn't want to be charged. I was not aware of the $35 parking fee until check-in. I felt cheated because "free drinks" were included, but I don't drink, and even so, there was not a bartender, so I feel like I paid extra for a perk that wasn't really available.

Breakfast was good. However, they ran out of regular coffee right before cut-off and fresh coffee was not put out.
Facility too cold-lobby, restaurant area, and room. Could not warm room to comfortable temperature. Outlets and telephones didn’t function properly. Maintenance came by at approximately 10am, checkout was at 11am.

The vicinity
The hotel only has one "working" elevator. The furniture was dated and stained. I didn't want to sit on it. The door did not close by itself. We had force it. The headboard scratched up. There was not a working ice machine, but they were giving out bags of ice in their market place.

I’ve always loved the embassy suites and the room that the suites allow you to have. A separate living area and a bedroom area. We have always found to meet our comfort standards.
Realizing that this is an older property that was in desperate need of an upgrade. The furniture in the living room was old and stained as was the carpet. The bathroom needed a complete overhaul, especially the shower. The shower was not clean and full of leftover hair from maybe the previous guest. I always bring extra cleaning supplies for cruising, but had to use them prior to our cruise to clean the bathroom and wipe down surfaces in the hotel room. The towels were also overly used and needed to be replaced. I expected more from this hotel, as the area that it was in, with a very high-end shopping mall right around the corner.
