Nice location for the Houston Marathon. Very nice staff, shuttle was also available.

The parking garage was nightmarish. Very steep and tight. 1/2 of the elevators were working, had to use the service elevator. Room a little dated.

Spacious room, very comfortable bed, breakfast included and shuttle bus to take you to restaurants around the hotel. Friendly staff at reception and restaurant.

Check out was until 11, at 9.30 someone from the staff barged in the room, without even knocking and 15 minutes after that they were knocking on the door.

It’s minor points, however there are some small noises you can especially hear the night (maybe it’s from the water pipes?). Nothing that won’t make you sleep but can be a bit annoying. Also the white lighting creates a bit of a cold environment

Breakfast was fresh, hot and adequate. The place was spotless, the assistant staff were busy, and very pleasant. The bedrooms were spotless, Scarteth was very pleasant to me as she serviced my room, while I stayed in the room. Every staff member were helpful and pleasant. The handbasin tap in 1017 needs a squirt of wd40 oil. Other than that small observation, I had no complaints.

Miriam in the breakfast area is the most amazing human. The MALE front desk staff are amazing and very helpful and courteous. They were attentive, respectful, helpful, gave us directions about the shuttle service at the hotel which takes you anywhere and picks you up anywhere within a one mile radius i guess. there is a beautiful cafe called Mademoiselle Louise right across the street, yummiest cafe . the tram passes on the same street, but i am not sure where it can and cannot get you. it makes a little noise but it is not a big deal. Rooms are spacious and clean and bed and pillows are SUPER comfortable. the coffee in the breakfast area is really good if you are there for work/an event, most of downtown hotels are within a walking distance, there is a big CVS about 12 min walk, but that is probably the closest convenience store if you need anything other than snacks, which you can buy in the lobby

Monique at the front desk can be a little nicer on the phone and in person. would have definitely appreciated a little more variety at breakfast, but it was not bad airport shuttle would be nice downtown houston is EMPTY. if you are not there for a specific purpose such as work within close proximity, there is no point staying there at all. apart from some murals and grafitti to see on the streets, there is absolutely nothing to see unless you drive over 30 minutes away

Most of the staff members had an attitude The staff was not flexible to accommodate any of our requests, we were fasting during Ramadan and asked to serve 2 plates of the breakfasts half an hour earlier so we can eat before the fasting time. We even asked for only ready of the shelf products; not anything to be cooked specially for us, but it was not entertained. The elevator was not in good condition No one was helping with the luggage, we had to carry it ourselves to/from the room Not all staff were speaking English! We stayed for 14 nights, yet when we asked for a late checkout as our flight was at 7:00 PM, it was rejected without any consideration. Will never stay there again nor recommend it!

Being on the 10th floor sounded like we were on the first floor with traffic road noise all night. Also, the window blinds didn’t block much sunlight out so there was no sleeping in.
