The room was clean, the management was nice. Location was good - very close to a Metro station. There are some stores, like a Target and a Ralph's within walking distance which was nice. I picked this inn to try to save a little bit of money for a quick stay in Hollywood (and knowing I would not be in the room much). If you like a a more luxurious stay then this is probably not for you - but if you're looking for something affordable to basically sleep and shower, this is a good option.
It was noisy at night. The chain lock on my door was not there and I would have felt a little safer if I the chain lock has been on the door, in addition to the normal door lock.

Great value for money. Location was great for us as walking distance to Hollywood, easy to walk to Griffith Observatory from there. Big comfy room. Easy check in process. Staff were helpful.
The area is a little rough - we knew this already and so not too worried, but the homelessness rate has really gone up in the past 4 years since we last stayed. But these poor people are no trouble.

The floor of the room seem to be wet all the time. There was hardly any natural light and the window would not open. Noisy due to heavy traffic on the street and the fountains in the patio kept working all night

I booked 2 rooms, one of them smelled like chlorine and as the day progressed I figured out they were trying to cover up the smell of cigarettes. I have asthma and I couldn't stay in that room.

This is the best value for money in LA. I highly recommend and will be back for sure, we checking in late with Tim he have a best smile and friendly conversation also I felt safe walking around day/night even though there’s homeless around but there’s nothing we can do cause there’s everywhere too just be safe be careful, The rooms are large and the bed is comfortable and clean , the housekeeping working hard to make sure the room is clean I always leave the tip for them before I left elsewhere, we haven’t had a chance to check out the swimming pool but it clean , my room has plenty of space for hanging clothes and they even have iron, hair dryer and safe box also coffee in the room but for the best part the location is one of the best. You can walk up and down Sunset Blvd or a short uber or drive to attractions.

They have an active bed bug issue here. We stayed here for one night and a family member woke up to being actively bitten by bed bugs. We caught a live adult bed bug and took it to the front desk. When I asked for a refund due to the issue I was given excuses about the management not being in town and no one else could authorize a refund. I got a number to call the manager at a later date and when I attempted to call the manager would not answer my calls. I would not recommend staying here for any reason.

I liked the location. Very close to the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The pool area was cute and the room was nice and clean. For the price, I would stay here again.
I didn't like that the pool closes so early at 7 PM. I didn't like that the room didn't come with much, just bare necessities and the phone to the front desk didn't work so I had to visit down every time if I needed something. This hotel doesn't provide breakfast or snacks. The walls are super thin so I could hear the people in the room next to me while I was trying to sleep and I put in ear plugs but I could still hear them through the earplugs. Also, when my room was cleaned, they left the dirty bedsheets the floor.

Nice size room, good value for money.
When we checked in we got given two rooms that were not made up yet due to miscommunication between cleaning and reception - but it was sorted out - Just a bit of in and out of the rooms with our luggage to get there.
First impressions were interesting as there is a passive agressive sign posted on the front door about Breakfast not being included in room rates!

Convenient location. Easy walking distance to the metro, Ralph's supermarket, Target, and several sightseeing attractions (e.g. Hollywood). Room includes microwave and fridge. Pool looked clean but we didn't use it.
WiFi was very limited, my phone struggled to send a message using the WiFi and definitely could not stream Netflix or any shows. Room cleanliness could be much improved. There were stains (and holes) in the towels, hairs on the floor of the bathroom when we arrived, large stain on the blanket, and various stains and marks throughout the room on doors, walls etc. Room looks somewhat run down and in need of a good clean and some repairs/painting. The bed was ok but pillows very lumpy and uncomfortable. The desk was more like a bench and no chair, so not possible to use it as a desk.

The room was huge but the smell of cleaning products was overwhelming to the point of causing headaches. The floor was slippery like they had just waxed it but didn't finish. The tub had a puddle of the previous occupant's shower water. The smell was so strong we left and got another room

Close to a target shop! It was clean, room was a good size. Had all the basics like microwave! Shower had great water pressure. It was a good price for accommodation, as alot of places are expensive around hollywood. Was close to all the things we needed to go to!
There's not much we didn't like, other that bathroom is tight and the toilet seat moved when you sat on it!

The location was easy to access via the metro. It was easy to get to all the places we planned to visit while there. The hotel was close to shops for groceries and close to a wonderful laundrette to wash our clothes before we left. The staff were friendly and helpful.
It would have been nice to have more chairs for sitting while in the room and maybe a small table. The bathroom and water pipes were quite noisy at times.

Typical Hollywood downtown older motel with convenient locale and clean rooms. Felt safe with the 24 hour front deskman, the clean tidy parking lot and far enough away from the Tent city folks. Norm's Restaurant only 2 blocks away w/ good food and prices
Booked a King room that was cheaper than others but turned out to be under a stairwell in an end corner. The window was a view a wooden fence.
Bed was too firm and should provide 4 pillows with a King room. Furniture was minimal and old.

The beds were comfortable and there was hot water. Room attendance was decent and the hotel felt safe.
The hotel wasn’t very clean, there were issues with water leakage, staff are either absent or unfriendly, the room had a very bad smell similar to mold and cat urine, and the room was very small. Overall not worth the price.

We were not able to stay, the facility had called before we checked in, stating that if we did not call within 2 hours they would cancel our reservations. When i called the hotel they sent my calls straight to voicemail with a mailbox that was full. We were very disappointed considering we had stayed at this hotel previously and we like it before. I would not recommend staying here again considering the inconvenience they left us in having to find a new hotel last minute.
Their customer service was poor regarding not allowing any call backs or emptying their voice mail box for us to leave a message. They ended up cancelling our reservation because we could not contact them.
