The water from the faucet came out brown and didn’t really clear up. 3 out of the 4 of us decided not to even bother trying the shower as we didn’t want to get sick! At $200 a night, I expected much better. Wall paint was peeling. Nonexistent security except for the office. To access the garage ( which wasn’t secured either), you had to go down a very narrow and steep driveway. Clearly others have hit the wall upon exiting as there were many many scrapes

The location is easy to recognize, clean and close to tye center of the business. It will only take between 8-10 minutes driving to be in center of West Hollywood and Walk of fame. Parking garage though it is kinda small but very accessible and safe.

Really nice front desk staff, which surprised me.
We got a big room, with two king beds in adjoining rooms. The biggest in the hotel.
They had a large parking spot behind the hotel in an alleyway that was able to accommodate our truck. It was a huge relief because the underground parking garage entrance was really tight and looked impassable to all but the smallest vehicles. They also have about 5-6 spots in a small semi-shared lot behind the hotel.
Staff was willing to hold our bags behind the front desk for many hours on the day we checked out. I'm not sure how safe the items really were, but it was a nice convenience.
Short Uber ride to the attractions that brought us to this part of LA.
Lots of street noise. Our room was facing the main street across from CBS studios.
Facilities were pretty run down. Booking.com said our room had an "in-room hot tub" which seemed amazing, but really it was just a regular shower / bathtub and not even a nice one.
Lots of sketchy people in and around the hotel. People that are twitchy and seem like itinerants and drug addicts. When we went to get our suitcases (the ones held behind the front desk after check-out), the dude who was checking in immediately stole a bunch of the products in the lobby as soon as the staff lady turned away. I don't fully blame him, because the prices on those items was super high.

A budget hotel with clean rooms and whilst the breakfast was basic it was enough. Staff were friendly and accommodating and the convenient location close Farmer’s Market for great resturants. The room was ok for the two of us and had a comfortable bed. The hotel was a great base while we traveled around the area

Area was good. Felt safe to walk around outside.
Parking was down a very narrow ramp under the hotel. Trying to get back out was a nightmare. We had a 7 seat SUV, which we had to turn sharp left onto the narrow ramp. Took many heartstopping forward and back manoeuvres so close to the wall to get out without damaging our rental car. Would not want to park there again.
Breakfast had very limited choices.
When we arrived there was no one in reception area . Reception area door was locked and we had been driving over 3 hours and needed the restroom urgently. We looked around and finally found a maid cleaning a room who unlocked a toilet for us.
We eventually managed to find a receptionist who had been sitting in a back room doing nothing all this time.
Not good customer service. And coffee pods for our room seemed to be limited even though we asked for them.
Room was very small not much space and needed a bit of TLC.

Drunk people returning at 2 am making a ton of noise and staff did nothing to stop it. The bed had bugs in it, biting me, and the room was unclean. The property still has Covid - "wear a mask "signs up. The hotel clerk wore gloves when checking me in, despite the fact that nobody does this anymore. They're covid koo koo here!

We arrived early and they allowed an early check in at no extra cost.
One lady at reception was very rude, English wasn't great which didn't help.
Our room was very basic, think it had a refurb (if that's what you would call it) paint work wasn't just on the walls but the carpet and bathroom floor also. Air con was great but very very loud, unable to sleep with it on which made sleeping very uncomfortable.
Area was very run down, ALOT of shops and businesses closed.

Me and my fiancé stayed here one night for a concert in town. We didn’t know what to expected but were so impressed with our stay! The staff were so accommodating and nice. They went out of their way to ensure we had a nice stay. Our room was extremely clean and bright. We felt so safe here. The location was also great as it was walkable to a lot of things and a short drive to others. We appreciated the free parking and breakfast. We had read reviews about the parking garage. It’s is smaller but we didn’t have any problems. They do also have some outdoor parking spots behind the hotel that we also used. The hotel is older so things are smaller such as the hotel room and garage, but our room at the Sunset Tower Hotel a few years ago was even smaller! And same issue with parking. Things were smaller when these hotels were built so goes along with the time period. We really appreciated the reasonable rate and no extra resort fees or parking charges. I highly recommend this hotel for short stays.
I wish they had more options for breakfast, but for the price we paid it was acceptable. Not really a complaint. We were happy to have it available.

Location and Parking options. They have two parking options.
One in basement has very narrow exit option and if you any car other than compact, you will need special skills to take car out without putting scratches on it. Also, if cars close to exit are not parked properly, it makes things even more difficult. I had a mid size suv and it got badly scratched due to very narrow exit.
The option in the alley behind the hotel. It looked very sketchy with garbage boxes and homeless people there. Also, I felt unsafe while accessing my suv in the night.
Lastly, I saw people, nonguests, hanging around near outside steps of the hotel.

Joanna was amazing best part of my stay
Parking lot is way too narrow of incline, I opted to park in the back after almost having a fit trying to get my car out, had to get the front desk man to help me. This property can be a bit noisy as they leave the front door open. Either way sorry to say I will not stay here again. Thankfully I only stayed 2 nights, I'll stick to the Beverly laurel up the block.

I loved the friendly staff in the lobby. They were so sweet and helpful and just easy to talk to when we needed help. Even the cleaning lady though she didn't really speak just gave off a very kind and friendly vibe when we passed her in the hall.
I felt was room was a bit small for the price we were paying but I understand the price was probably to do with the location.
I was also surprised it was an open-door hotel since I am used to being buzzed in or having to scan our room card to enter the hotel. I was worried for safety reasons because of that but we had no issues. The coffee was good too.

No receptionist was there when I arrived. I had to wait 10 minutes before I could check in. The fridge in my room was deafening loud to the point of being intrusive. The faucet in the bathroom was broken and dribbled water. There was no chair in the room to sit down. Breakfast was as basic as it gets.

I would have liked a better outdoor area and pool. I was a little surprised one wasn't available.
It's nice to have monitored parking. However, getting in and out of the parking garage is treacherous. The angle of the driveway turn is too extreme. I was worried I'd dent my car getting out of there.

It was a 5 minute walk to the Grove and a TV studio where we were attending a show. That is why we picked it.
When we arrived, the room was 60 degrees. We tried to get it to 70 degrees and the air conditioner started to smell horrible. We had to unplug it and open the window to get the smell out. There were bugs crawling along the window. We checked out a day early because it was so bad. I told the staff and there was no apology or hint of concern. Won't be back.

When the property gets the opportunity, deep cleaning the ac filters would save on the plug in air fresheners.

The hotel was basic, comfortable and clean. Check-in was smooth. All staff were very nice. Rooms are not very soundproof, so every time people walk down the passage, talking, you are part of the conversation. Very good wifi, nice little courtyard for the usually adequate breakfast, walking distance to Beverly Grove, Farmers Market, supermarkets, bus route. Not in the best part of Beverly Blvd, but it was the convenience of the location that mattered most to us.
What could have been better? Don't run out of breakfast foods.

Wash sink is in the room, not inside bathroom. Most of all, cockroaches crawling on wall and on the desk, at least 7 of them. Terrible sanitation and no pest control. Room 214.

The location was nice. Right next to a nice mall.
Parking was horrible. There’s only 3 parking spaces behind the hotel and a small lot under the hotel that is incredibly difficult to get in and out of. If these few spot are full you have to find parking in the crowded neighborhood. I had to park almost half a mile away and walk to the hotel in the middle of the night. Probably won’t stay here again due to that issue.

The rooms were clean.
The parking lot is such that is is impossible to make a sharp turn into the driveway ramp without scratching one's car. Also, when I arrived at 2:30, there was no one in the office, which claims it;s open 24 hours.

Great location, with easy access to different areas around Beverly Hills and West Hollywood. The clerk at the front desk was friendly, and parking was included. There was breakfast as well, though I didn't get to take advantage.
The room had a bad odor, and smelled like bleach was used to cover it up. Toilet kept running, which just needed a little tap on the latch inside each time. Super thin walls, and a large gap between the bottom of my room's door and floor meant I was hearing everything happening in the hallway through the night.
