At 5:30am there was what appears to be an attempted break-in. For 2 hours we waited for a response from the hotel. The police came and searched the property - during this time there was no power and an alarm ringing. The uneasiness of this event ruined our stay and the management still hasn't responded in full. I would never stay here again knowing how distant they are from the day-to-day of the hotel.

The localisation is great - walking distance of the most important sights on miami beach
The room was much smaller than it looked on the pictures, and really dark - no natural light at all, all shutters drown down and even when you put them up it's all grey, very little light comes in.
There were only paper cups in the room, no real ones.
When the room service came in they moved our stuff and put them "in order", mixing and displacing them significantly when there was no need for that.

The location was convenient. The linens were clean and soft. The entire place smelled AMAZING. The bathroom was a nice size. The window in the bathroom opens so that really helps with humidity in the bathroom.
Absolutely no parking. Not even close . The only parking โcloseโ to the facility has a limit. Most have a 3:00am limitation. Youโll spend as much for parking as you do for the facility. So, really, youโre not saving on anything. Stairs. No elevator. You have to carry your luggage up the stairs. Customer service has an attitude anytime you ask a question and they have a tendency to speak to you like youโre incompetent. I could have easily overlooked most inconveniences as life doesnโt always pan out the way we prefer. However, hospitality is the business and Casa Sofi fails miserably in being hospitable. Such a shame, because the place is adorable.

The room is lovely and clean and in a great location. It is nice having coffee and a microwave and lots of space. Contactless entry was great and easy.
The lights in the kitchen and bedroom weren't working - I assume a fuse had gone. I contacted the hotel about it at 7am, their office opens at 9am, I checked out at 11am but never heard back from them. Not having lights wasn't the end of the world but not replying to something so major is pretty poor. I'm not sure I'd stay again because of this as I wouldn't feel safe that they'd be contactable.

Easy to locate. It was located in a quaint neighborhood with numerous restaurants within walking distance and a public parking lot within a block away. The room was within walking distance of Miami Beach where we were able to rent chairs, umbrella and beach towels. Check in was a breeze. Since there was no one on property, you were given a login code for the door when it was time to check in.
We weren't able to access any channels on the television. When I inquired about this, I was told there wasn't any channels available. We had to stream our Netflix through the tv. This was an inconvenience. Also, the bed wasn't the most comfortable. It was very low to the ground and the mattress was a little softer than we like.

There is no hot water in the shower which is a deal breaker for us! We told them many times and they kept saying maintenance had come in to fix it but every time we tried the shower there was no hot water, it was just luke warm and very unpleasant. We also heard other guests complaining that the shower was not hot. When we turned up there was no wifi, however they assured us this was a service provider issue & the wifi did work after 2 days. On our last night some people woke us up with music and talking from 2-5am. Due to this being a self service property, there is no one to complain to downstairs, we text the property manager via WhatsApp however as it was in the middle of the night nothing could be done as they were also asleep. I appreciate this is not the properties fault but note that walls are thin and not soundproof. We would not stay here again.

This was my second stay at Casa Sofi, and overall, we chose to return because we really appreciated the experience. The location in SoFi (South of Fifth) is unbeatable โ a calm, tree-lined neighborhood with a serene atmosphere, away from the noise of South Beach and close to the ocean. Thereโs also a convenient public parking lot nearby. The hotel is a tastefully renovated Art Deco building, and the rooms are clean, bright, and have well-sized bathrooms. The housekeeping schedule (every two days with towel changes) works well, even though itโs not clearly stated during booking. Communication with the hotel via WhatsApp is fast and responsive.
Despite the responsive service, I found the staff somewhat inflexible with guest requests. As a returning guest, I kindly asked for an upgrade, which was declined. I also requested a late checkout, which was unfortunately not accommodated โ this was a bit disappointing. The hotel could also improve by offering street parking permits for guests. The shower still leaves much to be desired: very low water pressure, slow and inconsistent hot water, and a clogged showerhead make for a frustrating experience. Additionally, having basic kitchenware in the rooms (such as plates, cutlery, glasses, wine opener, and a toaster) would greatly improve the comfort for guests.

The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, always going out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Their hospitality made all the difference.
The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the beach and close to great restaurants and shops. Iโd definitely recommend Casa Sofi to anyone looking for a laid-back, welcoming place to stay in Miami!
One thing I did notice, however, was that the shower water took a very long time to warm up, and even then, it never really got hot. I often felt like I was wasting water just waiting for it to reach a comfortable temperature, which was a bit frustrating.
That said, everything else about the stay was lovely, and I hope this is something that can be improved in the future โ Iโd still consider coming back!

We stayed at Casa Sofi and really enjoyed the excellent location, very close to Ocean Drive and the beach โ perfect for a nice and safe walk. The place was clean and cute, and the room had good facilities including a fridge and kitchen sink, which was very convenient. The staff was great and responded quickly when we asked to change the coffee machine and fix the hot water in the shower. It also offers a good priceโlocation relationship.
The coffee provided wasnโt the best, and the beds were a bit too soft and could have been more comfortable.

The location is close to a bus stop - 1 minute walk. The facility is clean, modern, and cute. Could not have been happier to have stayed.

Clean, new, quiet, location, beach service. No front desk but easy to access with code.
There wasnt a place on site to leave luggage before check-in when arriving early. I did find three blocks away but it would have been nice.

The Location: Tucked away in a quieter pocket of South Beach. You aren't stuck right in the chaotic mix, but you are directly next to it and can easily walk to everything.
The Concept: The minimalist, self-check-in vibe works perfectly. It hits the exact sweet spot where an Airbnb meets a hotel.
A Bit Too Bare: The interior leans almost too minimalist. Adding just a few more warm, homey touches would elevate the comfort level of the room.

The room was modern and clean,housekeeping is lovely.easy to get in.
However, it was very noisy and you could hear everything. People walking up and down the hall all night sounded as if they were walking right next to me. Also, it was a bit inconvenient that there was nowhere nearby to park overnight because cars could be towed away, and getting them back later can cost at least $600
