Great location, 5 min from the beach, plenty of restaurants and stores around. Very close to Art Deco district. Hotel is clean and new, has great pool and nice design.
Rooms are rather small, no place to swing a cat:-) My booking said that total amount is X, maybe that naive but Im European and thought that it is the amount Im gonna pay. Unfortunatly my final bill had additional positions such as resort fee etc.

I love the location, This is my 2nd time, staying at the Moxy South Beach, very beautiful and elegant. I travel to all Moxy Hotels,over the world. South Beach was one my favorites, but this 2nd time around, I felt different. SOFIA WAS SO AWESOME AND SWEET! (CHECK IN) NICOLE AS WELL!!! AWESOME SPIRIT!!!
The staff in TIENDITA CAF messed up our orders multiple times. The gentleman was a bit rude. The young lady, who worked at fixing it, was great about it. Her attitude was calm and understanding. The gentlemen went to grab spoons and never bought it to me, I wasted ten dollars on yogurt.

I liked the location that the hotel was in it was close to a lot of stores and restaurants so that was a plus the beach wasnt that far away either!
The room was so small there was no room for luggage not even room to walk around and especially when you say four people can fit in this room its very tight I would not recommend staying with more than two people in the room because I dont believe in my opinion that the rooms are big enough Youre going to be right on top of each other I also dont like how they charge you a $30 cleaning fee per night even if you dont get your room cleaned! also theres No type of coffee maker or anything like that in the room I had to request a microwave and then when I requested it there wasnt really anywhere for me to really put it but on the floor by the door is just not ideal the hotel is beautiful but the rooms definitely Lack a lot I think they shouldve spent more time giving a little bit of extra square footage in the room and also putting those things that people need in the room like An iron board, microwave, coffee pot things in that nature!

What we liked: Location is excellent, you can walk restaurants, drug stores i.e, CVS, and the beach is 3 blocks away. Beds are the best of any hotel I've had. Bathrooms are nice, water pressure good, plenty of towels, and beach towels in room are nice. Staff very attentive, fixed our AC issue on day 1, and brought us a mini-fridge that we asked for quickly. Also helped us find places and easy to get bikes and also find the chairs location on the beach. The style of hotel was very modern.
Rooms are TINY, very little storage space except under the bed and a wall rack. Rooms could be a little colder, no way to really change the AC fan speed from the wall, but AC guy did set it to 60F. AC Fan seems low compared to other hotels. Breakfast is a joke, expensive and no selection really to speak of. The restaurant on the 2nd floor should have it, esp. for a 4-star hotel. Other guests agreed with us also. But, we found a nice one finally at a place called Limonada, best of any we ran across. Hotel price is also a bit steep, but not terrible due to location, and being 4-star. I'd probably try a cheaper one next time in Miami. The pool was pretty good on the 2nd floor, good atmosphere and margarita machine was nice. The top deck had a tiny pool, for a couple only, but views were nice up there. They should change the water in that pool, as it was very warm. The bar on the bottom floor was nice, but super expensive, really $18 for a cocktail? I never saw more than a few folks ever the whole week there. That's the same price about as the Mango Cafe and you get FREE bands there.

the pool water was cloudy and appeared to have needed some chemical balancing. the rooms were HOT the air appeared to not work.. or just not work well. we had to ask for fans in our room due to the heat and it was extremely uncomfortable to sleep in. the beds had down comforters which also didnt make things better considering the heat. I was not told about a $100 check in early fee, and when questioning the front desk, was told the manager wasnt available. I ended up finding the manager in the hallway and she removed my fee. Upon checking in, there wasnt any communication on what bars, restaurants, pool, etc. the pool closed at 7 pm kind of early for a summer vacation spot.

The decoration, the energy of the place in general. The rooms are small but if you are travelling with a carry on its ok. If you have large bags or big luggage you will find challenging to find space in the room. The first floor lobby + patio, the pool area and terrace are nice. The hotel is really well located, close to the beach and the trolley / bus stop. Pio from the front desk was particularly really kind and helpful with everything we needed!

Great location, just a 5-7 minute walk from the beach. The room was being cleaned daily, and the reception staff were friendly. The hotel has a nice atmosphere, two swimming pools and good gym equipment. As some people have pointed out, the rooms are not very spacious, but we were happy to be able to use the space under the bed for our suitcases. Safe was also there. Overall, had a great stay and would definitely recommend Moxy.

There was no coffee or breakfast for free in the morning. There should at least be coffee until 9am. If you are on vacation you aren't up at 6am. The staff were not friendly and it was difficult to get answers for almost everything. Very frustrating. The rooms were very small and I wasn't expecting that. When we arrived at the hotel, we should have paid $1056 . At the reception they wanted to charge me $2300 and my card declined. When i asked why, they told me they need a security deposit. After that they charged me 1556 , so they took $500 for security deposit and explained that after checkout they will return it back to me. But they never did and its been a month. It is totally incorrect!

THE LOCATION WAS VERY GOOD. THE ROOF TOP BAR/AREA WAS A REAL BONUS. WE REALLY ENJOYED THAT AREA. THE BARTENDER DOING HAPPY HOUR 10/22 WAS ANOTHER PLUS AND GREAT TO CHAT WITH. THE CHOICE OF RESTURANTS IN THE AREA WAS FANTASTIC.

Our room and the resort overall was extremely clean. The bathrooms were kept clean and fully stocked. The pool was a nice spot to hang out at -- we stayed during spring break (weekdays) and always had towels and a lounge chair to use.
Rooms are small, but common areas make up for it! Lots of options within Moxy to retreat to (the lobby bar, outdoor patio, Serena restaurant, business center, many spots in the lobby to work remotely or just chill, the pool, or the huge rooftop patio.)
