Bad customer service. Room rate increased 160 when I extended my stay for one night. Same room, same bed and the charge to extend was 160 more than the previously booked 2 night stay. Very little help at the front desk. Customer service desk could not book the extended stay- had to do it on line. I expect more from an AC Marriott. Very unhappy with how no one could help or reduce price for an extended day. Customer service said prices change daily according to occupancy. The hotel was not fully occupied. Will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

a) During my 5 night stay, in two ocassions the room was not made by 6 pm. although I have been out almost all day. I had to ask the front desk for the room to be cleaned at that hour. b)The breakfast buffet only had the option of hard eggs. I had the breakfast included in the booking rate and front desk did not advice we had to have paper tickets to show we had breakfast included. Not a good system. Several guest had problems undestanding the paper ticket system. c) Although I booked payment in hotel, my credit card was charged the whole amount in advance before arrival ( not good).

The area around the hotel felt safe, with supermarkets, pharmacies, shopping, and dining within walking distance.
The gym is well equipped.
Breakfast was the same during my 6-night stay and the cleanliness of the room could have been a lot better, the air conditioning did make a lot of noise and the blackout never shut completely.

This hotel is in a great location to access the Brickell neighborhood bars, restaurants and shopping. It felt safe and was generally a pleasant experience.
Although the staff were friendly, the hotel was completely understaffed. The same receptionist manned the front desk until late at night and was there early the following morning as well. She was the only staff at the desk at all times we were there. This is unfortunate for a hotel of this size and it cause delays in service even though the staff member was wonderful.
The hotel breakfast buffet was $25 and was pitiful-the equivalent of the free breakfast at a Hampton Inn.

The hotel is clean and modern. The public areas are very nice. The eating facilities are beautiful and the food was excellent for a tapas place, which was all that we needed.
The location is noisy due to the elevated train going by all night. The finishes were very basic and the vinyl flooring was glued properly to the floor so it made noise when we walked on it in the middle of the night, which made getting a good night's sleep even more difficult between the trains and the flooring.

Liked the location and the hotel. Made use of the free shuttle within 1 mile to get to our dinner reservation.

I liked being in the center of everything.
The first room I got was dirty and had blood on the curtains and they switched me to another room. The other room that we switched to was very outdated and old. The leather had statins and it was the not worth what I paid for.

How nice and helpful the staff was. A bonus was the Greek salad and pineapple mojito at the evening restaurant
There was a party on the floor right above us which I believe was the pool deck. The noise was loud and didn’t end until 1 or 2 in the morning. I think there should be a cutoff time for the “roudiness” when it’s during the times guest are using trying to get some rest
