The location is good, and the staff are nice.
My room has a strange layout. There’s a platform right outside the window, and the window actually has a door that opens onto it. It made me feel unsafe and I couldn’t sleep well because of that. Besides, there are two inside doors in my room, although they were locked, but I really didn’t understand why they design them. I lived here for 3 nights, the experience was not pleasant.

I liked the location
The staff wasn’t really accommodating every interaction felt awkward and dismissive, I requested my room cleaned and I was told they only clean after the guests leave or every 3 days which is disappointing as a customer for a 4 star hotel

But downtown Mpls is not the same. I tried to go for a walk and got cat called a couple times by transit men. Most of the retail stores are gone. I decided to stay in the room until I was picked up to head elsewhere.

We had a king suite on 15th floor the room was very comfortable and clean. We walked to the Dakota Jazz Club downtown and felt very safe walking. Would stay again Great for the price!

Most everything was great. Housekeeping only cleans the room every three days which was a bummer. I imagine it has to do with staffing issues, so very understandable. The front desk said house cleaning could be done on request but it would have been nice to have them pop in each day even to just empty the trash and refill coffee pods.

Hallway was well-lit.
Though mattress was high, it was comfortable. Sheets felt great. Bathroom was well-lit and bright.
Down side is the rust in the slider-guide of the shower - rusting out.
Plumber should clean the grout around the shower handles - hard water.
Lighting controls were easily accessible and functional.

The entire hotel from check in and to check out was amazing. Zak and Demeria was outstanding. The manager Brittany she was amazing as well helping us with the upgrade to compensate for just a small mishap. The room was so beautiful, and we enjoyed it. It was very huge we were on the 16th floor and all the accommodations was there. The wooden paddle inside the hotel was great for breakfast the next morning, and the staff was very friendly. The location of the hotel was perfectly located, and I definitely will be back to stay again.
The only thing that I can say that I disliked about the hotel was the parking. Parking spaces for too close, and very very small.
