This hotel accommodated me and my two children for a week. We had a fantastic time and were treated well by staff. The pool and lobby are gorgeous. Our room was located connecting to the pool, which was very convenient. The restaurant in the lobby offers an excellent breakfast and on the weekends it has dinner service. Highly recommend!
My children were disappointed about the cookies and milk not being available, but I did not give any notice for my request so I understand and we were offered an alternative. We were in the middle of Bourbon street, but our room was super quiet. We did get some noise from the live music, but it wasn’t too inconvenient.

The location to everything is walkable; food, parks, history, bars; all walkable. The security of the hotel was relaxing. Knowing that there were polite staff greeting/maning the doors and requiring keycard access to the elevator and bar restrooms was a bonus I didnt know I appreciated. The staff were all very polite and welcoming.
My only negative was our room HVAC unit didnt work as we hoped. We set the temp to 68 and it never got below 74. That was a hot sleep but we also werent hanging out in our rooms.

Lovely accommodation and some staff were very nice
My room was double booked. Paid for upgrade. In addition to this 2,500 dollars "accidentally" taken out of my account and another 20 dollars day after. Wasted so much time at reception and didn't receive money back for over a week after raising complaint with my bank. Almost had to beg for compensation and was told "a hundred dollars is a lot of money and over and above the hotel policy" I am not the first this has happened to - watch your credit cards!

As a smoker I know one of the few would be good to have a place where you could smoke rather than standing outside hotel front door where it is common to get asked for money or cigarettes

Cleanliness could have been better. Bathroom wasn't very clean upon check in. Although they serviced the room daily, it was obvious they did not sweep/vacuum the rug in the room. After 6 nights, it was obvious.

The pillows were ABSURDLY LARGE and so over stuffed that they could only be used as back rests to read or watch TV... and there were THREE?of them! Had to toss one and make a "V" notch with the other two to sleep in.

The Bourbon Orleans is our go-to hotel every time we visit New Orleans, and it never disappoints. We love staying in the heart of the French Quarter, and this hotel truly captures the charm and warmth of NOLA. We upgraded to a larger room for a small fee, and it was absolutely worth it — the beds feel like pure luxury!
The customer service is always extraordinary; it genuinely feels like we’re speaking with family every time we visit. A special shoutout to Ms. Dee, who was so welcoming and made us feel right at home. The new wallpaper in the bathrooms is a beautiful touch — very captivating and elegant.
Can’t wait to come back for our next trip!

Hotel decor is gorgeous!! Truly makes you feel special staying in such a beautiful place. Valet service was super friendly and helpful. Front desk staff were warm and friendly, everyone working to make sure my stay was amazing. Which it was!!! Location within a couple minutes walking to get to Jackson Square, definitely close to all kinds of restaurants, bars, shops, etc. I was able to walk everywhere I needed to be within a few minutes. I stayed Halloween weekend, so there were lots of people visiting at the same time and I never felt unsafe, and even though my room was directly facing Bourbon Street and across from a bar, while I could hear music and people having fun at night when in my room, it was muffled enough that it didn’t bother me at all. I did not enjoy the on-site restaurant for breakfast (I preferred to indulge in the options from Cafe Beignet on Royal St.), but I did enjoy the live jazz music and a couple cocktails in the Bourbon ‘O Bar. I also did not partake in the heated pool, but I did check out the courtyard at least, and it was gorgeous. Definitely a great place to relax and enjoy the warm sun and outside breeze. Even at night it was lit up and truly a beautiful space. The lounge area in the lobby is huge with plenty of comfortable seating — nice and inviting spaces to just sit and relax. My room was spacious, the king bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and the in-room refrigerator was perfect to keep my waters cold (2 water bottles even in my room upon arrival). I’m used to coffee and tea being offered, but the waters were a pleasant surprise. All the staff I encountered during my 5-day stay — from the valet, to the greeters, to the front desk staff, to the bartenders, to the housekeeping — were all extremely friendly!! Would absolutely stay here again!

The location was perfect. The hotel is stunning and full of history. If you like ghost stories, this hotel is perfect!! Stayed in one of the loft apartment suites, which was beautiful with the most comfiest bed pillows and sofa with a view from the balcony over St. Anne's. I would stay again.
The only complaint I have was the fact there were no proper glasses or cups in the room, and I had to drink my morning coffee from a paper cup. The coffee machine could also do with being updated as it sometimes didn't work.

The area gets busy on the bourbon street side, as to be expected. And there’s currently road construction in the area. So it took slightly longer to get an Uber.

Rooms need refreshing… plantation shutters were a disaster. Falling apart. They were literally falling off. Couldn’t close them properly to block the light. This is an easy fix and should be addressed. Rooms 233 and 201 both had the same problem. 233 hasn’t been refreshed completely. Depressing room— windows were filthy.
