The location was perfect, close to Bourbon Street and all the great bars, restaurants and music spots but the noise of Bourbon St stayed on Bourbon St. :) The staff was so kind and helpful. Particularly Will and Stacey. They provided great information , discount coupons and spot on directions. The hotel has one of the BEST wine bars Bar Vin and a great speakeasy type bar, the 21st Amendment, both had music. The hotel does offer light breakfast fare. and a fitness room. My room was spacious and comfortable on the inside of the stunning courtyard. New Orleans is such a walkable city and the Hotel Mazarin is within .5 miles to all the best attractions. I cannot wait to go back, and will definitely be staying at Hotel Mazarin.
I wish there had been an area to purchase snacks.
The room did have a bit of a damp smell but it wasn't particularly off putting

The hotel has a beautiful courtyard away from the city hustle & bustle. The room was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. And the location was perfectly located for access to music, restaurants, parks, and walking areas. The staff was very welcoming and helpful in arranging a taxi to the airport.
There were some people hanging out in the courtyard who were extremely loud. I called the front desk to ask them to quiet down some, and the noise level never changed until they finally left.

This is a beautiful property in the heart of New Orleans. Our room/bed/bathroom was comfortable and clean. The room was quiet, which was nice after the loud sounds of the city.
The only negative thing was the hotel “bar”. My husband had a glass of red wine and I had a vodka martini. Both were horrible!

Rooms are small and the cabinet leans so much the drawers don’t stay closed and you have to close it to walk by the bed.

The hotel was in a great location but even so, we had a quiet room down the back. It had an amazing bar just next door, with Bourbon Street just 2 mins away. The staff were helpful and the room was clean.
The covers on the bed were way too thin, we had to ask for another blanket but it still wasn't enough. Its difficult it sleep when cold air from the aircon goes straight the bedding. Also, the shower took about 15 to drain, so not great for the person taking the second shower.

The staff was excellent - professional, helpful, pleasant. The hotel was surprisingly quiet for being just half a block from Bourbon St. The location is central to everything we wanted to do in the French Quarter.
The room we booked was advertised as a Junior Suite, but really wasn't much more than a standard king room. The bed was not at all comfortable and the pillows were also not great. There were several electrical things that didn't work - light fixtures in the bathroom, the light sensor, the lighted mirror were all not working properly. There is not adequate storage and shelf space in the bathroom, just a little ledge under the mirror and the edge of the sink.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Mazarin. The hotel is nicely located in the French Quarter, close enough to Bourbon street to easily reach all the restaurants and action there, but just far enough away to leave the chaos and noise behind. We had a few minor issues with our room, but really liked the tiled floors and that the HVAC system worked nicely to cool down the room.
It took a bit of fiddling to get the TV to work properly. We had to call the front desk and have them come to the room and get it functioning again.
It was nice that the coffee maker was on a sliding tray in the buffet, but it apparently wasn't plugged in there or couldn't be plugged in there. So we had to pull it out and try to find room on an end table near the bed in order to use it.

The wine bar has a wonderful, cozy look. Sadly, the bartender had the music blaring as though it was a dance club. No way to relax, enjoy or converse with anyone next to you over the loud music. Fully intended to have a couple of glasses of wine but ended up walking out.

We had a great experience from start to finish. The desk clerks could not have been any kinder to us. The hotel is charming and the decor was lovely. We sat in the courtyard and enjoyed a glass of wine from the wine bar. We heard wonderful jazz and singing later in the night.
The only thing we didn't like was that we didn't stay long enough. I'm hopeful to go back in the future and to stay for several days. One night was not enough.
