Location is great and I like the boutique size as not crowded and feels like a private apartment residence. Staff was generally friendly and attentive.
The Deluxe Studio room we had was dated and needs to be renovated. Floor carpet had a lot of stains. Bathtub drain had clogging problems which I relayed. Room curtain came off twice. Should have brighter lights in hallways. The Lounge and Cafe facilities were closed for the most part of our stay.

Excellent location and excellent staff and very safe . Easy to walk to 5th Avenue and the main shopping areas. Easy access to public transport. Room very spacious. Excellent service from the staff as we requested extra furniture for the room plus other small requests which was very promptly addressed. We also managed an earlier check in timing !
Shower hot water not working very well. Toilette bowl had intermittent problems. Bathroom area is cramped and does not cater for 2 pax. Access to the shower could be problematic if you cannot bend your knees properly. Half of our room did not have adequate lighting.

During my 5 days stay, the room was ONLY cleaned once. Additional cleaning was $75 each. A hotel of $600 / night should be cleaned daily.

The bed had hair on it when I checked in. I wonder if housekeeping even changed the sheets! The wifi didn't work for me for 4 days out of my 10 days there and I couldn't receive emails. It was very frustrating for me. I never got any compensation for the inconvenience caused as I had to walk over to Starbucks daily to check emails.

Top location, very spacious rooms (technically small apartments) per Manhattan standards. Also very well equipped. We've got a big microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge, and it was a great plus to see paper towels and dishwashing liquid provided.
There's some noise either from AC or fridge in a room. Also the rooms and doors are not very soundproof. Nonetheless it was very rare we heard voices from outside. It's also hard to get nice view from this hotel, but this is Manhattan. Our view on surrounding buildings was totally acceptable

Great stay and Giovanni was the star of our show! He met us at the Uber and took our bags in. Checked us in EARLY to our huge, clean, stylish room and seemed to always be there as we came and went. All hotel staff were amazing! We were welcomed with a little swag bag :) Free laundry was great, as we had already spent a week on vacation and needed a refresh. The lounge was a nice spot for a drink in front of the warm fireplace. AKA was a great spot to kick off the dream Christmas in New York leg of our vacation!
We were on the 14th floor, with blackout shades, but the exterior uplights still made for a bright room until just before 6am each morning. I would avoid this floor in the future, but definitely stay again at the hotel!

The rooms were exceptionally clean and surprisingly large for New York - I was pleasantly surprised, checking in was smooth and every member of the team that we met and engaged with were professional and went out of their way to provide assistance. The facilities were also great - the gym, cinema room, laundry services etc.
Prior to my arrival, I needed to pay for the booking in advance due to the fact that I was arriving later than my family. This was an EXTREMELY difficult process and I had to provide so many documents and jump through so many loopholes in order to pay! I am a seasoned traveller and have never been through such an arduous process. Sara and her team were professional and did their best to accommodate but this is a note to higher management to look into this - it needs to be streamlined and in line with payment processes in 2025.

Spacious room and living room, comfortable bed, almost complete kitchen. Super friendly staff. They were able to change the shower head to a handheld one to accommodate my husband who was recovering from surgery.
Poor lighting, no cooking utensils, bathroom was a bit too small, hard to have everything needed at hand.

Location was excellent. Staff were helpful, apartments were fully equipped, laundry was an added bonus. Bed were comfortable and Overall it was an amazing stay. I highly recommend staying here

The location is great, close to Central Park. The kitchen was helpful with a decent size refrigerator, microwave, dishes, coffee pot.
There was a kitchen, but no where for two people to sit and eat…no table and chairs. We had to have ice delivered to us, which was inconvenient. The lounge was only open M-F, which we found out on Saturday.

I think I’ve finally found the place to stay in New York. I come to the city three times a year as a tourist, and after countless hotels and apartments, AKA Central Park is by far the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed in. Immaculately maintained, spotless, and genuinely comfortable — it immediately felt like home.
What impressed me even more was the team. Everyone — from the front desk to housekeeping — is incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely happy to work here. You can feel that they put their heart into what they do, and it creates such a calm, caring atmosphere.
Honestly, part of me doesn’t even want to write this review because I know more people will discover how great this place is… and then there might be no rooms left! But the team here deserves all the appreciation. Thank you for making every stay special — I’m done searching for a better place in NYC.

Love the location. Love our suite with the terrace. Staff is great and professional.
The common elevator could use a bit of deep cleaning. And the bathroom needs a bit of updating as well.
