The location is excellent, coming in from CT via Grand Central Terminal, which is a nice walk away. Rooms were clean and spacious.

The only downside was the mattress, needed a new one.

NON responsive staff, didn’t answer any of my emails. One night asked for extra blankets because it was too cold, and they said they could only give me one.. having the room 3 beds and being 5 people in it. I booked “pay at the property” because wanted to pay cash, i told them about that upon arrival. Without asking me they charged it to my credit card. They don’t care about the guest. Really disappointed

The location was perfect, my family was able to walk to many exciting venues which made the trip very special. We are New Yorker, now living in Florida but we've always wanted to stay at a Marriott in the city to minimize driving and parking.

On arrival, we checked into our room and my wife requested a walk-in style shower but we quickly discovered that the room did not have that feature. After contacting the front desk, we were relocated to a disability room (No one was disabled) to get the requested shower. The above room still did not have what my wife saw on the website and wanted very much. However, we decided NOT to complain and stay with the current room. At bedtime, we quickly realized that both beds were somewhat different in terms of quality. One bed was firm and comfortable, which was great. The second bed was a disaster, old loose with Springs in the middle of the bed. My wife and I could not lay on it for more than 30 min. After contacting the front desk, a maintenance tech showed up to inspect the bed. After a brief inspection, he too agreed that the bed would difficult to sleep on, therefore, he suggested a Mattress Sponge Padding to go on top for a one night trial. My wife was not satisfied with that option so we contacted the front desk again. Moment later, the on shift Manager (Orlando) knocked on our door with better option. It goes without saying that he was very professional with the intent to provide the best customer service and satisfaction possible. At his request, we were escorted to room 2403 which was a great room to accommodate my family. We were happy and excited to get a good night's rest after our travels. Please note: I have a server case of Insomnia, therefore, I need a quiet place to sleep with no interruption because it often takes me hours to fall asleep. Certainly, we were in for the opposite to say the least. Our neighbors to right, possible 2402, stayed up all night long with very loud conversations in every corner of their room as well as next to the window. It almost sounded as if they where outside on a balcony. This went on from 9pm & never slowed down, we heard every plan for the next amongst the laughter.

The room/bathroom felt newly renovated, the bedding and towels are pristine, and the views from the room were nice. The location is within easy walking distance of all midtown sites. The staff were really friendly as opposed to some other Marriotts I stayed at before. I would also highly recommend "Paris Baguette" nearby for breakfast or quick snacks.

Everything was great. I initially experienced some issues connecting to the internet (this is not unique to this location, it happened at other Marriotts before). The staff here helped me resolve it fast.

The location is great, and I appreciated that the room was available at our arrival very early in the morning, before the check in time.

The elevators are a pain, they take forever to arrive. We had to wait for 15-20 minutes every day to get down, and we were at the 21st floor, so stairs were not an option. Also, we didn’t get the complimentary water wasn’t given by default, you had to ask for it, and a bottle of water at the hotel market was crazily expensive, like $5.

Reception is a bit small and trouble with the elevators on the day we checked out with all our bags only 1 was working.

One working elevator in a 31 story building was atrocious. They directed us up a freight elevator with no explanation given by Staff and made everyone very nervous and uncomfortable, that stopped in every floor and there were large amounts of time where the was elevator wouldn’t even be running at all, and people would be piled up waiting. Unacceptable! The room would overheat to 75-86 degrees midday and they only way the AC would keep the room at the correct temp is to leave the blinds closed and it would go no lower than 72 degrees during the day. The rooms have poor lighting so with the blinds down you felt you were in a dungeon. For such a large hotel room the bathroom was too tiny, making it impossible to have more than one person in the bathroom at once.

The location is perfect close to trains/ groceries/ coffee shops and restaurants. Nice and helpful staff at the reception and housekeeping.

The room smelled rotted/unfresh . The towels were too old, should be replaced. I went to grab breakfast quickly before my appointment ( was included), I was ignored and I had to leave without it. One lady working at the cashier entering bills and asked me to wait and 3 others were chatting. I was the only quest, so they were not busy. The gym is very small not well equipped but open 24H.

Excellent location just the opposite to the subway. Very comfortable bed and the views from the room are exceptional. The room is broad, clean and well organised. Staffs are very helpful and welcoming.

Choices for breakfast are very limited and required to buy basic staffs like yoghurt, which was a total opposite to the experiences we have got from Hyatt White House, Washington DC, where choices are plenty and coffee was excellent. Staffs at the Breakfast kitchen shall be re-trained on how to welcome guests.

The location was good.

An elevator didn't work and so the remaining one elevator and freight elevator were slow and crowded. We could not get the room cool enough via the thermostat. The sofa bed was hideously uncomfortable. Not enough pillows. Not enough outlets. Cost of our stay was ridiculously overpriced.

I love having the sofa bed for our 5 person family with the sheet and blanket.

The sofa bed could have used a comforter like that on the beds. Their policy on needing a credit card that matches their ID sucks. My wife and I recently got married and it has been exceedingly difficult to change her credit card, but we appreciate them eventually conceding and understanding our situation and letting us use it anyways.

The hotel had everything we could ask for. Great location, clean, nice staff and silent. The subway is right in front of the hotel so you easily can hop on in the morning. Our kids 13/16/17 years old loved that the hotel is 20 minutes walk from Times square, 15 minutes from Central Park and 30 minutes walk from Hell’s Kitchen where you can find really good restaurants.

The reception staff was super helpful! They provided us with all the information we needed. The location was very good and had a subway/bus station right around the corner or in front. We had a wheelchair user with us and the room was very accessible and had stools in the washroom with a hand shower. Would definitely recommend this property!
