The front desk is super nice! She let us drop off our stuff and when our room was ready, she messaged letting us know we can come in a bit earlier. She also gave us clothing recommendations as we were tourists
The room itself was very clean and the bathroom was nice! It is a bit smaller so if you have a lot of luggage, it might feel cramp. For us, we only had backpacks so it was perfect for us.
Itโs in Chinatown so we were walking distance from good food. The subway was also pretty close by, 5-10 minutes away. We felt pretty safe from where we were so 10/10 recommend this place!

Right in the center of Chinatown. Food everywhere nearby at all hours and easy access to subway lines.
Rooms are small and minimalist. Perfect for a couple nights. Donโt expect to have space to open suitcases. Room is just large enough to fit the bed.

But mostly people were quiet and respectful, On Thanksgiving and the day before, the price is shockingly high (but was the cheapest room available in Manhattan with good reviews). Not much of a lobby. The linens were very nice, but the bed was a bit hard. Pillows covered in plastic under the linens, making them feel crunchy. Industrial carpeting squares for flooring. I think they can do better than that. It makes the room feel pretty bare bones. Adding a sheer curtain for allowing sunlight in but maintaining privacy when using the room in daytime would be a good idea.

We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Mimosa. The room was good and comfortable, and the bed was extremely comfortable, which made a big difference after long days in the city.
The bathroom is completely renovated and very clean.
The hotel also has a small kitchen area with a refrigerator, microwave, plates, cutlery, and everything needed to prepare or eat simple meals.
The hotel offers an ice machine and a vending machine where you can buy various items, including medicines, which is very convenient.
The staff truly stands out โ they are excellent, very friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist with anything we needed.
The range price-quality is excellent.
Overall, a great stay and a hotel we would definitely recommend.

The bed was uncomfortable- the sheets were kind of scratchy. Mattress was too firm for me. Also the area isnโt the best, but I actually loved it and felt safe walking everywhere.

The staff was wonderfully kind and helpful. The room was small, but bigger than youd expect for Manhattan and quite cozy. The room, bathroom, and over all hotel including the lobby and the elevator and hallways were all super clean and nice. It was it a great part of town super close to a huge variety of good food. The staff member that checked us in even gave us a three page list of handpicked reccomendations for food in the area, and all of the reccomendations we tried were great.
I certainly recommend staying here!

The hotel is very clean, and the staff are extremely nice. Thereโs a cute little area in the basement with a refrigerator, ice, a washer and dryer. Itโs a tiny hotel that packs a lot in it.
The only downside to the property is the fact that itโs incredibly small. The room we had only had space on one side of the bed. But thatโs really the only downside. And itโs New York, so itโs not really that surprising.

Loved this spot. Itโs right in the middle of Manhattan near great food and transit. The room felt cozy and the double windows did a great job blocking out the city noise. I had a great night's sleep!
Itโs not a luxury 5-star, but adding a kettle and a bottle of water (without the extra charge) would really level up the experience for travelers.

We came early morning and was able to check in and rest before we started our trip! The hotel has a lower lobby to store food, a table, coffee, bathroom, it was clean! The hotel lobby also had cute and yummy treats for the guest! They lock the doors at night which is so safe and they let you out if you want a late night snack! Super Taste is right down the street and they have the best pan fried pork & chive dumplings. We spent Valentine's Day and Lunar New Year in Chinatown! Everything was close! Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridge, Financial District and Bowery St. So much yummy food nearby!

The location is convenient to Chinatown and to the Confucius Plaza parking garage. Even though the rooms do not have a refrigerator or microwave, there are communal ones located in the basement for guest use. The refrigerator is not big and guests put their departure date onto a post it note on their food.
The room temperature can not be controlled. Although the temperature of the room is OK, it could have been warmer in February.

Location and accommodations were great at hotel mimosa! They even offered to hold our bags before and after check in.
The room didn't have an individual temperature control so it was rather hot in the evening. The only way to cool it down was a fan and opening the window, but being by the subway that was rather noisy.

The room and bed were clean and comfortable, and the sound insulation was great. There's a train bridge right outside, but the sound was very very faint- like distant white noise. The bathroom was nice, and the daily cleaning service did a great job.
The room had no individual temperature control, so sometimes it was a bit cold until they turned the heat up in the evenings. Q-tips in the bathroom would have been nice. No major complaints otherwise.

It was cheap and quiet! The facilities were enough for a few days. The staff were also very friendly and the location was really good. It was a short walk to the subway so travelling by public transport was quite manageable.
