Great location, friendly staff, everything was very clean and check-in was fast.

The rooms are very dated, the mattress was old and worn out, the carpet is probably beyond rescue and needs to be replaced. The worst part was a very strong perfume or lots of febreze that didn't go away. For the price you can find better hotels in Manhattan.

Aircon was not functioning well. Room temperature was hot and we need to open the window. A lot of reviews on the aircon not functioning but management does not do anything about it. There was also no microwave oven in the room.

There was nothing to like except location. The Front Office newly appointed manager was a disgrace.

Location of the hotel is excellent. Right in the heart of times square and within easy reach of the subway.

Rooms are dated, could do with modernising. Chose this hotel as it said it had tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Had to chase reception for 2 days, only to be given a leaky machine.

The hotel staff were excellent both at check in and around the hotel. The location was excellent and the room for New York was a really good size. I asked for a room high up to lessen the street noise and our room was excellent with a good view of Time Square so thank you Millennium hotel.

If I was to make a suggestion a kettle would have been nice but I took my own and a fridge.

Very nice staff and very quiet at night.

The bed needs a new mattress—an appropriate platform bed mattress. The bed was so uncomfortable and the pillows were worse! I didn’t get any good sleep because the bed was atrocious! They also need to update the rooms with at least one electrical devices charging lamp by the bed.

Location was great, very comfortable beds and great view from the room. We also appreciated that there were two bottles of water provided - not just on arrival, but every day. Free WiFi was available. Overall very good value for the money. Bag storage on check out day free of charge and very efficient. Starbucks and Walgreens were like 10 steps away from the exit. Staff was very friendly, although we didn't talk to many, but the ones we talked to were very friendly and accomodating. Room was pretty quite considering the fact that this place is located right next to Times Square. I say pretty quite because if you are looking for complete silence at night, you may want to reconsider visiting New York :)

Asked for late check out due to last minute delay of our flight, but charging more for 2 hours than one night's fee was too much in our opinion and felt like ripping off a guest by using a situation beyond our control. We understand charges, but more than a whole day for 2 hours? Also, long lines at check in and check out.

We booked 2 rooms. One had a bar fridge the other didn’t. One of the rooms had water leaking into it during the night. Was moved to another room and again no bar fridge. Very disappointed considering it was a pretty expensive place to stay.

Great location to walk to shows and catch the subway or hop on off buses

The hotel is very dated and tired and is older than the photos suggest. There was even a hole in the wall. The room did not have tea and coffee making facilities as promoted and even asking for this to be resolved took time.

Friendly staff, location

I had issues from day 1. 1. The closet door that was attached to a beam was loose and hanging from the beam. I reported it to the front desk staff and it was fixed before I got back later. 2. The mattress sagged considerably (on the one side). I had to keep scooting to the center of the bed as I kept rolling to the edge. I reported this to the staff on day 3 after night 2. I asked them to please have the housekeeping staff rotate the mattress. They did not (see#4). 3. The hotel had not been renovated in many years and it showed. The carpet was stained in several places and I’m not talking about little spills but rust stains by the closet door hinges. The furniture was very outdated. The only place to charge your electronics was on the desk, far from the bed. The biggest issue (for me) was on day 4 (of 5) there was a giant cockroach in my bathroom running across the sink/counter/mirror. I went downstairs to talk to a manager. He was very nice but really expressed very little concern saying that it was warming up and therefore they come up from the subway and he can get an average from 20 to 30 complaints a week. So my One didn’t seem to phase him. He did offered to refund me some money however I booked the room with there a third-party and he kindly warned me that they’re gonna try to basically exhaust me and disregard me and avoid giving me the refund. I told him about the other issues and how one of them was fixed right away, and the other had not yet been fixed. He gave me his card with the amount of money that he offered to refund me and said he would take care of the other things promptly. He also allowed me to change my checkout time to later in the afternoon from 11 AM the next morning. I got back to my room at 6:30 PM that night after the cockroach issue only to find it’s still in my bathroom hang out where it was eight hours earlier. Housekeeping came and made the bed and replenished some towels.

Convenient for Times Square and theatres. We were in a room on the 49th floor, so there was minimal noise disturbance. Beds were comfortable. Could leave luggage easily at reception on check-in and check-out. Shower pressure was good compared to other hotels we have stayed in NY

Once leaving the reception, the hotel feels like it all needs a renovation. Our room was very dated: the furniture was old and marked, and the bathroom needed modernization; tiles were coming off the wall. The room temperature got very hot.

The staff was one of the friendliest we have encountered. The location was perfect. Parking was right across the street so check in was easy. The bedding was fluffy and comfortable. At check out we were able to leave our luggage at no extra charge while we continued our day in time square

It was our second stay at Millennium, but this time we had the luck to meet Catherine from the front desk, which made our stay fabulous. She went above and beyound and sent us to heaven in room 5218 ! Views over the Times Square, the imense bathroom. Well that was our best stay in 30 years of travel. We were returning from Bora Bora and Tahiti so not easy to impress but they did. Room impecable, staff in the lobby, proximity to everything.. Catherine, THANK YOU

Young receptionist was rude and unhelpful. Requested room with a bath… got one but had no stopper. Called house keeping said they would send someone… sent 2 different men who both said they would come back with one. Surprise never saw another person regarding it again for the rest of my stay. Didnt like that i could access the room next door from my room… i know bcz i opened it and walked in that room thinking it was a second room after that felt really unsafe about person in that room being able to come into our room. No air conditioning - old building that could only have heat or AC on and it was spring. Our room was 80 degrees and the front desk said all they could do was give us a fan! Also, rooms in need of updating. Bathroom and furniture were shabby and TV worked poorly and then stopped working altogether on second night.

It was very close to everything we wanted. Great walking distance!

We landed very late at 1AM & once in our room tried to sleep. At 8 in the morning we were woken up to a staff member knocked aggressively on our door because “the manager thought we weren’t here” This was super frustrating especially after a 12 hour travel day. Then we were called at 8 AM half way through our stay because they didn’t save the card on my file properly even though i gave them & they confirm a card when I checked in. It was a nice hotel, water pressure was not good, our shower had hair in it, the staff constantly bothering us really annoyed us.
