Basically, it was very useful for me staying at this location. I am very familiar with the neighborhood. I commend Ray from the front desk for his client service skills. The staff in general were nice. The place met my expectations. I would return if I had to.
To start with I hadn't been warned in advance that I would be needing to leave a deposit as security. The person who processed my check-in upon arrival, prepared my lease and charged me upfront 5 weeks in advance, did not issue an itemized invoice. He did not mention that I should be expecting fresh sheets on a weekly basis; I didn't get fresh sheets during the second week. Definetly, he is not a "people person". It was usually hard to get a washing machine available, there were too many people waiting and just 2 washing machines (4 dryers).

Murray Hill East Suites is located in an excellent quiet and safe area close to Grand Central Station and surrounded by a great range of restaurants, supermarkets and other amenities.
They have a wonderful team in all areas of the hotel that are friendly, very professional, and only to happy to help with any requests or assistance. They also have a 24*7 reception allowing you to easily come and go as you need, whilst also seek assistance if needed at any time.
The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable and provide an environment with your own kitchenette, large bedroom/living area and separate bathroom to enjoy longer term stays in comfort.
Whilst the hotel may not be as modern and have the same level of facilities as newer hotels, it provides a reliable and great value for money experience for longer term stays.
The kitchenette would benefit from more modern and newer utensils and cooking facilities, but this is a very minor thing compared to the excellent overall experience and value for money.

One of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in New York City. The apartment was remarkably spacious compared to most NYC hotels, with a fully equipped kitchen ideal for a long stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional—especially the front desk team, who were always cheerful and helpful. Housekeeping was excellent, and the location was convenient, close to everything I needed. A truly comfortable and pleasant stay. Highly recommended!

It was the location I needed and I was familiar with. The staff are very nice and kind. The room was large and confortable. The laundry room was very practical, even though some machines were not working. This is my second stay here.
The month of September was hotter than usual and the room where I stayed ( # 1006 ) and the air conditiong strengh was not cold enough, just a little cool and enough to get adequate dry air. Even though the maintenance guy and I tried different ways to fix this, it didn't improve much. Also, I had to call 2 weeks after I checked out because apparently, they had forgottent to reimburse my security deposit but with my call, the reimbursement was processed right away.
