The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a very convenient location to restaurants and to the venue of the workshop we attended.

The shower water was cold! We took sponge baths because it was too cold to get into the shower, even after letting the water run for 15 minutes. Also, there could be another little shelf in the bathroom, near the sink, for guests' convenience.

Nice lobby and great location,it’s great if you just need a place to sleep at night, because there’s nothing to do in the property

A little dirty and the wall paper was peeling , small beds compared to the mattresses , nether windows don’t open , the AC wasn’t great so it was a little hot for my liking

The room was clean.

The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The bathtub was very slippery, with no bath mat or other non-slip method. There was no soap at the sink. Towel rack had been pulled off the wall, with the brackets left behind. I used three different elevators, and all were dirty and smelly. The staff was not friendly.

Definitely not a "nice" hotel but it's perfectly fine and a great value. Located on 94th and Broadway, you have easy walking access to the entire Upper West Side and a subway a block away.

Staff was friendly and helpful when needed but shortly after check-in began on a Friday afternoon, there was only one person checking in the many arriving guests.

The location was good and the neighborhood was safe.

The room was extremely rundown and dirty. The room smelled like mold/mildew, there were broken fixtures in the bathroom, nasty stains on the carpet, a hole in the wall, peeling wall paper and general disrepair. It DID NOT look like the pictures on the website at all.

Hotel was near subway and between Riverside Park and Central Park, where we did spend a lot of time.

Room was not at all as described. We paid extra for a room that provided a separate bedroom from the living space. We had our 15 year old son, and we had hoped to make the trip comfortable for all of us. We were put in a one room studio with a king bed and a twin bed. It was cramped and not at all what we asked for. Did NOT match the pictures of the room we booked online. Hotel is very small, elevators can only occupy 3 people at a time, and everything seems old, run down, and very outdated. Even our toilet paper holder wouldn't stay on the wall and our bathroom faucet wasn't fully attached to the sink. We were very disappointed.

I've stayed here many times and the staff is extremely friendly the hotel is fairly basic but for traveler that spends more time out of the hotel exploring it's a very good value. Neighborhood can't be beat Columbia University to the South Central Park to the east, Subway literally next door!

The lobby is just the lobby you'll have to find your food and beverages outside the hotel.

Great location, close to subway station and not to far from Central Park Overall clean

Too high price for the worth of the hotel. Heater makes too much noise (which is problematic at night). Poor sound isolation of rooms While some staff are nice and helpful, other can be a bit more welcoming and enthusiastic, considering the price paid.

Staff was pleasant, location was easy to find, and close to the subway station. Well-heated on a very, very cold winter weekend.

Room was rusty (baseboards, window frames, etc., rug was in poor shape, mattress didn't fit the bed frame. We didn't take showers because the tub didn't seem safe (if I remember correctly, no hand holds). Cracks in the bathroom floor tiles, etc.

It could be maintained a bit more. The bathrooms could be renovated to maintain cleanliness and the overall decoration in the rooms could be changed to match the lobby’s appearance.
