I arrived early but itโs not their responsibility to give me an early check in. I waited till 3 (check in time) and they said itโs not ready. They kept telling me to come back every 40 mins to check and it was tedious. Didnโt get the room till 5pm and was shattered. They promised to make it up to me and that theyโll call with promises of free breakfast etc, they never called.
When I needed a late checkout, they initially said no and then when I reminded them about check in, they relented so that was good.
One day, my diamond ring fell and rolled underneath the bed. I moved the bed so I can grab it but underneath was so much dirt and dust that my pillow (that fell as I moved the bed) was covered with crumbs and rolls of dirt. Honestly no one has hoovered under these beds in years. It was absolutely disgusting. So disgusting I had to leave and asked reception to deal with it.
The room was in perfect condition and totally renewed when I got back but itโs a shame it wasnโt like that from the beginning.
Cleaning is not a strong suit in this hotel, a lot of dust and crumbs.
Something is always missing from the bathroom like they forgot to put soap or thereโs not cotton buds but thatโs not such a big deal.

The facilities are comfortable and the staff is friendly. Our room's adjustable "white noise" speaker blocked out city traffic sounds as well as music from the lower level and guests in neighboring rooms. Our friends enjoy meeting us at the hotel for drinks and socializing at the end of a busy day. The location makes it easy to get in and out of Manhattan.
There was a long wait for our valet-parked car.

The location was amazing. Not even a block from the train. The music was incredible in the bar every night we were there. The rooms feel larger than the average NYC hotel. Close proximity to Chinatown, Financial district and the neighborhood felt really safe. This will be my main choice to stay from here on out.

We stayed at The Roxy to celebrate our anniversary and had the best experience! From the moment we arrived, Zillah at the front desk made us feel so welcomeโshe was incredibly friendly and attentive. Our room was spotless, and the bed was super comfortable, making it easy to relax and enjoy our stay.
We also spent the evening at The Django for drinks and live jazz, which was such a fun and memorable part of the night. The atmosphere, music, and cocktails were all amazing.
The Roxy really has everything you could want for a special night in the cityโperfect for a romantic getaway or any special occasion. Highly recommend!

Nice hotel and loved the music theme. Most of the staff were excellent, even down to the bellboys and the service staff, it's the management which let this place down. I found one manager in particular rude and arrogant when I wanted to check my car ($95 valet service!) for an additional bag I left in it - was told I must walk 4-5 blocks to the garage as they couldn't even make the call to see it was still inside- "not policy" apparently. For this reason, I wouldn't stay again - if this is the attitude of management.

I visited NYC to go to the Cowboy Carter show. I stood in line for hours to get exclusive merch that is only available at the stadium. Paid for cabs to and from the venue for this. Wore my shirt to bed twice because I was too afraid to spill on my $90 (plus tax) shirt. On May 26th I came back to our room cleaned by room service, the white sheets had been changed and my XL oversized long sleeve yellow shirt was taken with it. I reported it immediately to the desk. Everyone was very nice while I was there and freaking out. They didnโt find it before I left. I have called twice since being home. Both times I was told they would follow up with me and no one has ever called me. The second time I was greeted with frustration that I even called. To say I am upset would be an understatement. Not once did someone suggest to reimburse me for this, to say they would be doing anything really. So disappointed.

Great location, steps away from the ACE subway station (which you can take all the way to JFK Airtrain), and within a 30 min walk to most of the downtown neighborhoods. There are plenty of great places to eat in the area, from fancy restaurants to popular breakfast joints.
Fun hotel lobby with live music and bar open till late at night. We didn't find the noise to be disturbing, but we were on the top floor.
Staff was very helpful and friendly, especially Zilliah when we checked in.
We stayed on a rather quiet week I guess, because we got a great rate. For us the room room was a really good value.
Room could have been cleaned a little more thoroughly.
Pillows were a bit too soft for our taste, but otherwise the bed was very comfy.

In the heart of Tribeca, The Roxy blends a standout location with genuine personality: a true jazz club on site and a lounge that hums with live sets throughout the week. Service is consistently helpful, and the early-morning team deserves particular praise for their warmth.
The in-house cinema was unfortunately closed during our visit but is scheduled to reopen in early September. Our only real disappointment was the Wi-Fi, which was unreliable across our eight-day stay. The in-room AC feels dated, noisy, with airflow directed toward the bed. Hot water often took ~5 minutes to arrive and fluctuated, and the showerhead could use replacement.

Good vibe at the hotel. Wonderful lobby bar and restaurant area with live music. The hotel had a unique style and was nicely decorated. The location was great - walking distance to Chinatown, Little Italy, Greenich Village and other nice areas.
You could hear the live music to the room - not very loud but still noticeable.

The temperature of the shower in our room was either freezing cold or scalding hot. There was no way to adjust in between those two extremes. We called the front desk to fix it but it never got fixed. It made it uncomfortable to shower.

Location and the bar.
Arrived at 3:30 - well beyond check in and the room was not ready. Was told my luggage would be brought up at night when i returned - it was not. Was then given an accessible room which made me feel like an afterthought after the invinvenience of being turned away at time of check in. Water was turned off without notice between 4-6am - i had to leave at 5am to catch a flight... so... yeah, not great.

We got a room upgrade; I loved the room, the feel of the place and the location.
I would have liked to be able to control the room temperature better.
Unfortunately, there was construction in the neighborhood and some work continued through the night that made it difficult to sleep.

Plenty to do inside the venue (if you can get a reservation) music, bar, pool, movie theater, etc. it would be nice if some of this was exclusive or first offer to guest because we couldnโt do any of that.
Most the managers were fine but there was one guy who screamed at us for taking photos. We later saw other people doing the same thing and he said nothing. We also didnโt get to reserve spots because it was so booked another reason I think the amenities shouldnโt be open to the public; especially for the price of stay.

Excellent location and unique property. Itโs definitely a nightly scene as the bar/restaurant is livelyโฆand they have an onsite theater. Rooms are cozy and you can walk everywhere!
