Love this hotel. The lobby and ambience is wonderful. Great comfortable beds and were welcoming to children. Loved the Soho diner for breakfast! I like the non fussy approach. Laid back. Superb area.

Great location. The room was really clean with a nice and sizeable bathroom. The staff were really friendly, especially the fabulous doormen. There were electric blackout blinds on the windows and I loved the hardwood floors. I’d give the room 10/10 if it wasn’t for the noise which affected our sleep.
There is a very loud nightclub in the hotel. We could hear the noise even on the 11th floor. Worse was the noisy traffic outside all night long. We were at the back of the hotel - might be better at the front.

The hotel is just beautiful and very well kept. Staff were helpful, polite and attentive. The room was a good size, comfortable and cozy with a great view of downtown and the Freedom Tower.
The only negative was that during a shower, the glass enclosure leaked so bad the floor flooded in the bathroom.

Very well decorated hotel, spacious rooms. We booked 2 rooms with a family of 4 and stayed 9 nights. Close to several metro lines. Nice restaurants and shopping area around the corner. Will def book this hotel again when visiting NYC! Thanks for our pleasant stay!

I liked the fact that the hotel is in Soho.
We could not sleep. It was incredibly noisy. The rooms are very basic and small. No ambiance at the hotel in the common space. At check out, they couldn’t even tell us how much the parking was.

It was hard for me to get in the tub .,because of the little wall you after to step up and over. It was hard me because i am a short guy. The tub was very slippery. My husband and I both all most fell time first using the tub.

The Grand is one of our favorite Hotels in NYC. We booked a room to stay the night of my wife's birthday and I had flowers delivered to the hotel. A manager noticced and gvae us a fabulous upgrade to our room.
They had no decaf coffe. They are having trouble acquiring decaf coffee. If you don't like thumping parties in the lounge, don't stay there on a Saturday night.

Great location - close to the subway station and on top on the shops and sights around SoHo. Easy to get uptown or downtown on foot or subway. My room was a good size and extremely comfortable with plenty of storage! Not always available in accommodation in NYC. The lounge and bar areas were both comfortable and welcoming (families and dogs welcome!). with a great buzz without being hectic. I was travelling alone and felt welcome whether enjoying a drink or just relaxing with a good book.
Being British I naively showed up without a physical credit card which was required to check in. (Apple Pay is accepted elsewhere in the hotel). Entirely my error and, thankfully, my son lives in NYC and was sent back to his apartment to bring a card back. The very kind concierge gave me vouchers for 2 complimentary cocktails which were gratefully accepted after a long haul flight! The following morning a second concierge suggested that I complete a pre-authorisation form for the required amount which was emailed to me and my sons’s card details were deleted. My only suggestion is that this option could have been made available to me at check in the night before avoiding the unwelcome delay in settling into my lovely room. That said, I will make a note to bring my card with me next time!

The bed was comfortable and the room was fine. We had a nice view as we had a room on an upper floor. The lobby is nice and a good place to sit and enjoy a coffee or a drink.
The staff in the restaurant, except for one exceptionally good female chief waiter, as well as at the reception was unprofessional, not client-oriented. Unfortunately, we weren't told that there was a jazz concert in the hotel every evening, we found out by chance.

Room 726 corner room excellent. Bar dining quite decent as is the diner attached to the hotel. location is right net to Canal st metro station easy to get anywhere. lot of decent restauraunts in walking distance.
Pillows only size extra large hard on my neck and hard to sleep on one foam and one feather but both to hard for me.
