We loved the location (great for walking around Midtown and for subway lines 6 and E, which will quickly take you Downtown) and the space in the apartment. Yes, the hotel is a bit dated, but well-maintained. The breakfast is good for American standards: tasty coffee and a pretty wide choice. If only they would stop using all those single-use plastics..:(

The worst aspect of this place is the limited space at breakfast - if you arrive from Europe and are jetlagged then it's easy to be the first downstars at 7am, but the longer you stay the longer you wait in line for a table:) But let's make it clear: we never waited longer than a couple of minutes. I would stay there again!

We as a family of four stayed here for 5 nights. Location is awesome and it's at 5 min walking distance from two metro stations and ten min from Grand Central. Times square is just 15 min away. The suite appt was really spacious and comfortable. Both the bedrooms are quite spacious. Attached kitchen with basic cooking utensils and cutlery was quite convenient. Cleanliness was good. They provide room cleaning after every two nights of stay. Staff is quite hospitable and helpful. Breakfast spread is limited but good. Getting a spacious 1000+ sq ft suite in central Newyork was the highligh.t.

The place is expensive for the quality of the hotel, doesn't offer value for money. You have to wait for a lift in the busy morning. Bed mattress was too soft and the bed was a bit higher for avg persons height.

The room is actually a nice spacious flat with 2 large bedrooms with king and queen super comfortable beds, a living room that turns into the 3rd bedroom with a queen bed and a practical kitchen and bathroom. It was really more that what we expected from a Manhattan hotel (that in most reviews are tight, small, dark, dirty and way overpriced). The furniture and the decoration were not modern but everything worked as expected. I could easily see ourselves (5) living there for long terms. 10/10 Breakfast was clean and fresh but pretty plain and basic. 6/10 Rosa holds the secrets for THE best omelet I have ever tasted. Unfortunately she only makes it twice a week, not every day! Rosa, my doctor says "thank you" for that. Water dispenser was only dripping, could not refill a bottle. Bonus, you can take your breakfast up to your room and enjoy it there! WiFi was OK 9/10

AC units in bedrooms quite noisy but TBH we did so much walking we slept well. Beds very very comfortable. Rooms spacious and kitchen great. Reception and dining room staff just lovely and helpful. Safe area even at night we walked down to local pizza store and convenience store. Less than 10 min walk to Grand Central Station and only 5 min walk to a subway station.

Only the one lift and man was it slow :) a minor irritation.

Customer service was fantastic, especially Destiny upon arrival and throughout our stay. She made us and especially our 3 year old feel like the most important guests! Credit to the Hotel. Facilities felt new, great location away from hustle/bustle but close to walk to a lot of things. Location and staff are great.

The building and rooms are very dated with a new coat of paint. Windows are original with old window air conditioners so windows are not sealed and you can hear everything. Do not stay here if you want to sleep at night. In addition, the radiators in the room are original to buidling and very loud and hissing all night. This was portrayed as re-modelled Best western hotel, nope, basically a very old apartment that has some cheap upgrades.

Excellent location. Surprisingly good breakfast. Loved the 24 hour coffee/ hot chocolate machine. Spacious apartment - great for travelling as a family.

Main bed was comfortable but we requested a rollaway for our daughter. The mattress was very old and uncomfortable with springs almost poking through.

Good central location, large rooms. Good breakfast selection and helpful staff especially at breakfast.

Rooms were very hot, heating is old so couldn’t really be adjusted despite maintenance trying. Radiator in 2nd bedroom kept hissing. Kept window open in lounge to keep things cooler. Both outside windows of the bedrooms didn’t shut properly so let quite a lot of noise in.

The free breakfast didn't have everything. Hot chocolate machine was down. Waffle machine was broken the entire time. Bathroom tub was rusted out. Elevator was being worked on in the midst of a high traffic evening. For the price we pay, this should have been corrected.

Excellent location to Rockefeller Plaza, Central Park, 5th Ave and also walked to Times Square and the ESB. Room itself was very good size, especially main bedroom. Beds were very comfortable and TVs in each room was good. Well insulated so easy to stay warm. Room servicing every second day was excellent.

2 x heaters were broken on arrival so had to leave one turned off and 1 permanently on and weren't fixed during our stay. Kitchen was nice but very few utensils, cooking accessories so limited in what we cook prepare. Elevator was slow and very small so moving between 8th floor and lobby was tedious in peak times. Reception area in Lobby also tight when new guests checking in and other going out for the day. Breakfast was adequate but was the same every day, also coffee machine was always breaking. Bistro area was also very cramped and tables often unavailable so had to take food up to our room to eat. Stayed 9 nights and, on 2nd last day, water went out for whole building so no showers possible on last night OR last morning and received little info and no options so had to leave for 24 hours of travel with no showers.

Location was central, Breakfast was lovely- good variety fresh and warm. Staff were very friendly and helpful they kept our luggage on the last day as we had a late flight home. The room was clean and spacious and was nice to bring food and drinks back at the end of a long day sightseeing and to chill on sofa.

It was freezing in New York when we were there and the bedrooms were cold, the wind was blowing in through gaps in the windows. It was fine when you got into bed and under covers with a sweater on.

The room was clean.

An unexplained Urban Fee was charged. Saw other customers complain about the fee as well. The only elevator broke down while staying here.
