Unfortunately the sofa bed was absolutely worn out and inappropriate for any normal person to sleep on. During the stay we contacted the night manager and shift manager but no response to our complaint. Would avoid this hotel for anyone travelling more than 3 persons

Great location! Bigger room than expected. Do it yourself laundry and dryers really useful (bring a small bottle of laundry liquid) there's also a couple of pharmacy's nearby that probably sell it. Really enjoyed the rooftop terrace with free hot drink and microwave facilities where you could take a takeout meal throughout the day up to 11pm. Great views of Chrysler building and East River behind. Much better than having no option other than your room. Didn't use the gym ? but could be a plus for many... Front desk staff and doormen were friendly. Nice touch offering the changing daily afternoon specials. Only managed the modest glass of Champagne but still appreciated

THE SALES PRESSURE FROM THE WYNDHAM REPS stationed by the lifts. Was initially taken by the offer of the wristbands offering reduced entry to NY attractions before realising there seemed to be strings attached (committing to attending sales pitch for timeshare we had no interest in, at a different location) Bailed out in time but still got targeted a couple more times as we came and went. After day 3 they didn't bother us so counted ourselves 'lucky' We were on the 3rd floor. Good thing was there's an additional 3rd lift that goes as far as the 10th floor so no complaints there with wait times. Bad thing was our room was near the laundry room where people tended to talk late at night while waiting for their wash cycle. We had to go out and ask for hush after midnight a couple of times. We stayed 6 nights. There's no room cleaning, linen or towel changing unless requested it seems. Didn't bother me ? but my wife asked for more towels which didn't materialise until a follow up request a day later

Great location for midtown, comfortable and clean, and the staff was nice

The central cooling system made the room very cold, and you couldn't turn it off. Also, they have very small shampoo bottles, so you have to realize this before your shower, and ask for a refill. Both are not deal breakers, but I wish I knew this before packing - bring your warm pjs and shampoo.

Location of the property is ideal for downtown Manhattan, the staff were all very helpful and even though our room wasn't ready on arrival they stored our bags for us. Room was spacious and well presented, large fridge in the room and the bathroom, although small, was well equipped. Free coffee station was an added bonus.

There were some additional staff who advised that we hadnt completed our check in, this turned out to be a fairly hard sell to attend a timeshare meeting. I really didnt appreciate this, felt very forced and I struggled to get my point across to them that our time was limited and attending a 1.5 hour meeting about a timeshare didnt fit in with our plans.

TV and air con needed attention n from maintenance, but they quickly sorted the problems. Queue for lift. We were ok with the timeshare sales offer, but some people may be offended or feel pressured to go. You can say no, but it is a shock initially. We were not bothered and had a 90-minute presentation, but we did get a week's free holiday accommodation out of them. We will need to wait and see how easy it is to use the voucher.

The price and rooms were outstanding. The staff from the hotel were fantastic and very accommodating, in particular the door staff. The rooms were huge, modern and clean.

The Wyndham time share staff that sit in front of the elevators and try and push you to discuss buying a time share and sitting in on a presentation. When we expressed our complete lack of interest one female staffer was rude and muttered under her breath whilst we moved into the elevators and gave snarly looks everytime we walked past for the remainder of the trip.

Time-share salesperson stationed in front of the lifts - just be persistent in saying no if you're not interested. They also said in order to use the swimming pool facilities, you'll have to attend one of their seminars which gives you a wristband to access the club facilities. We just passed on it. Would've been great if we were able to use at gym/swimming pool without these strings attached.

The beds were comfortable and the view was great

I did not like the surprise charge for the room at 8:30 pm that shut down my cc for fraud when they already charged my card at 5 pm, and the continuous call from front desk regarding. I did not like the mold along the rim of the bathtub when I took a bath or that there was no breakfast, not even fruit, for the price, that was in unbelievable. I did not like the way as soon as I walked in the door I was approached about attending a time share seminar.

The bed & pillows were incredibly comfortable. The coffee machine was ace. Location was nice & Central. The size of the room was large. Great to have a bath in the room.

The air con/heater was very cold. I requested a blanket & it was very thin. I was put in a room next to the generators or building fans or something so it was very noisy. The bath had someone else’s hair in it. Not the Wyndham I had anticipated. It’s Club Wyndham so not as good.

Hotel was clean and had friendly staff; the bed was comfy and the bathroom facilities were nice - did the trick!

There were not any outlets near the bed, nor any USB docks anywhere in the room. Also the coffee maker seemed to only make a version of espresso that was very bitter, and no (liquid) creamer, which made things unappetizing; I ended up grabbing some green tea bags and just running the hot water through the machine. Also my room was next to the laundry (I think??) so there was a lot of loud banging right by my door most of the time. Finally, I was hit with a sales pitch when I first arrived, which was off-putting but some might not mind.

The room was fantastic. We had a 1 bedroom suite with a pull out bed. There is a full kitchen, decent sized living room and dining room table. The view was okay, but there is a terrace with a patio that we enjoyed. The location was perfect. We walked everywhere-Grand Central Station, 5th Avenue, Times Square. The hotel staff were very pleasant, especially the doormen.

If you stay here and do not want a timeshare, do not agree to go to the meeting like I did. That was a horrible experience in my opinion. That's on me. I should have said no right off the bat. However, if you do want to get a timeshare, go for it.

The location, near everything, but a quiet sleep too! Huge room for NYC The roof top terrace has an up close and personal view of the Chrysler Building and is a great place to relax on couches with little tables that double as heaters! Would stay again!

If we had to pick one thing, it was the tour desk jumping on us when we had just checked in and making out that this was a part of the checkin progress. ... offering free gifts to entice us in. It all felt a bit yuck!

Had to ask twice for the AC to be fixed, making the room 80 degrees at times! Timeshare lady jumped on us immediately before we even got to the room. She was very pushy and not transparent about what she wanted from us, but insisted we take time out of our vacation to just meet her downstairs but after research we knew they were offering something with timeshares.

After reading reviews about the timeshares i was really hoping there wasn't going to be an issue about people trying to push you into getting a time share. While getting the room keys we were told to head to another counter to get a welcome package. It was there that we were talked into talking with a rep the next morning in exchange for a prize I was left on the sofa waiting ( they didnt call me to talk to the rep)for an hour and a half while my significant other did the tour. He received the gift cards as i did not because i didn't talk with anyone. Was not happy about that.

Location is great, walking distance to lots of places and well located for transport if needed. We got the AirTrain and then the E to the hotel and it was very easy to find. Staff super welcoming. Room was very spacious.

Bathroom could do with an update but that’s me being super picky! The facilities were good and very clean, just a little dated and the shower was at a weird angle.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, from the reception desk to concierge to doormen always quick to lend a hand, hold an umbrella or hail a cab. The complimentary hot beverages in the lobby and rooftop were much appreciated. The indoor and outdoor area on the rooftop provided a nice setting for visiting with our travel partners while admiring the view. The rooms were spacious, well equipped and offered plenty of storage.

We couldn't get good water flow or the right direction from the adjustable shower head in the our room's accessible bathroom. The shower curtain didn't contain the water in the shower stall, and there was no shelf to put any personal cosmetic items.

Very fast response from staff.The staff was kind and helpful! Very good location. Clean rooms. The rooms look nice and well equipped. Enjoyed the rooftop on floor 33. Very nice view and quiet place where you can drink and relax.

The room was way more spacious than another hotel we stayed in Times Square, location was still just as accessible to everything, in fact closer to the main subway stations and a whole street of food and coffee right at the doorstep pretty much. Great facilities, big comfy bed, multiple mirrors, storage space and a really nice big mini fridge which was great for summer (August) as it was very hot so we could keep drinks cold. There was also option to attend their rooftop events scheduled for the week. We didn’t have much time to experience but great options on there if u are staying a while and have a free evening. Friendly staff too! They were also helpful in letting us check in early and holding our luggage while we did our last shop before we heading to the airport. There is also a hot drinks station which is also a very nice touch :) one last thing, the doorman and front of house staff were amazing and super helpful is suggesting when to take an uber and comparing prices with their options. It was raining when we left and we had help getting our suitcases into the car by the hotels door staff which was super lovely.

Overall great stay! Not much to complain about other than I wish we stayed there longer than 3 nights :)

The location is absolutely perfect, super close to Grand Central (we came by train). The one bedroom app has plenty of room for a couple + 2 kids. We loved having the possibility to cook/eat in the apartment. Roof top lounge is a wonderful bonus! Amazing view. The staff was also really kind and helpful.

A little bit noisy due to the roadwork behind the hotel, but nothing crazy.

The room was very large. The bed was good and so worth the linens that’s about the best I can say.

There’s some kind of timeshare racket running out of this hotel and when you arrive, they stop you and they make you promise that you’re gonna come to some thing the next day to learn about their timeshare and they’re gonna give you free trips blah blah it was obnoxious. Also, the rooms are very out of there wasn’t a single electrical outlet near the bed. The bathtub was difficult to climb into and there was no hand shower. it was very noisy in the hotel. People were yelling and the doors don’t fit well so you get all the noise coming through.

The room was great. The elevators were fast. The staff was friendly

The sales pitch to become a Wyndham owner was a little heavy handed. It wasn't bad at first, but as it went on it got worse and worse. Every time you say no, they come back with a different offer telling you it's a no-brainer and why won't you do this? SMH The sofa bed was an el-cheapo. There's a support bar that runs across the bed just under where my shoulders were. We had to take the mattress off and put it on the floor...that was more comfortable than having it on the fold out sofa frame. It wasn't a really big deal as that's just how a lot of sofa beds are.

I loved everything! I was in NYC for a short work trip but I’ve been given an amazing corner room, I believe 407, with a lovely view. The position is great too, in Midtown close to everything.
