The location was good and the view from our window was great.
The room was very rundown. The front was off the air conditioning unit, just laying on the desk, revealing an extremely dirty filter. The door on the dresser had a wedge of paper inserted to hold it closed. There was handprints and yucky marks on the dresser and desk.

Not much to like.the place was super run down and they definitely over price the rooms
The night check in window was a tiny dark, unlit window off to the side. Was weird and they never use their lobby like a normal motel. Absolutely no towels and when you ask for two towels, they only give one. There was red duck tape in the shower and by the sink “hiding” holes in the wall in the shower or black mold in the dry wall from leaks in the wall due to leaking pipes. Bed sheets had brown stains all over them. The mini fridge smelled like old rotten food.

All the surfaces in the rooms seemed to be greasy / had something odd on them. Generally a strange smell in the room, didnt feel clean at all - bathroom was filthy too. WiFi didnt reach room either.

The room was very clean.
The toilet seat wasn't attached very much. The shower had half of the water coming from the shower head and the rest from the tub faucet. The bottom sheet on the bed was too small for our king-size bed, so it barely covered the top of the mattress. The TV froze up once in a while and the remote didn't work very well. There was no list of what the channels were. The heater/air conditioner had space around it that opened to the outside and it kept turning on for a minute or 2, then shutting off for a while all night, waking us up. It sounded like an airplane landing.

The advertisement was false. There was no sitting chair; no refrigerator or microwave. The bed was very old, center of bed was sunken, the shower head was broken. Room was not that clean. I had to clean the room and floor (took pictures).

It was the most disgusting hotel I ever stayed at, so poorly maintained. I had the misfortune of attending a wedding during the tennis tournament so this disgusting, rundown, bug infested motel thought it could price-gouge - evil!! When my companion and I walked into our first room which reeked of cigarettes BTW, there was a cockroach in the room and the water was leaking from the bathroom ceiling so bad that the electricity was starting to short circuit. The new room that we were moved to shower was so disgusting that I bought sandals to wear for when I showered. What a dump, not even worth paying $25 a night for this place, I can’t believe I stayed here the thought makes my skin crawl.

The pool was not extremely clean but it was refreshing.
No coffee was offered even though they had a coffee pot in their reception area.
Trash cans were small and not really trash cans.
I had to move the shower curtain so water wouldn't leak onto the floor.
The entire rooms floor was dirty
There was an open soap bar in the shower with the wrapping. To me that means the shower wasn't cleaned.
Only 3 very small pillows. 4 of these would work.
The towels were very scratchy. I think they use too much bleach on everything. Even the brand new towels are way too scratchy. Very cheap.
There is a nightlight outside on a post that has fallen with no shade outside.
The whole place needs cleaning, painting and upgrades.
We asked for a room without noise, specifically. And we were told there was no noise in our room. We did have a lot of noise until we turned on the air conditioning. The air conditioning drowned out the noise.
The refrigerator was very wet and dirty before ww used it so we dried and cleaned it out.
No ESPN available. The wifi was not offered. I have a hard time with not being offered what there is available. Everything should be offered by mouth when you check in.

it was run down. the owners bought it dirt cheap. it’s on a prime location but very unsafe with weirdos roaming after midnight.
it’ll eventually be sold then torn down for a better property and the Desert Lodge owners will be bought out by the new, potentially owners

The only thing I liked was that the staff was very friendly and we got to check out late with no problem.. Other than not there's no redeeming qualities for this place except. It did have a Mini fridge and a microwave but that's it..
The facilities are very run down it's a very run down Motel. Needed a cheap place to stay and book last minute for memorial weekend. There air conditioner wasbroken but the guy came very fast and fixed it but then it leaked all over my shoes..

The motel is in need of renovations.
It is completely rundown, the furniture in the room is falling apart, there are holes in the walls.
Jacuzzi, has not been working for quite sometime I’ve found out, the pool area is also in need of repair.
The whole motel needs renovation.

Location was great but did not seem secure..
First, Booking.com charged me a week before then the man at the front desk charged me and tried to argue that "this is how is always is". Still never received a refund from the hotel or Booking.com.
Second, it was very outdated and smelled musty. The sheets were stained and bed were lumpy.
The lady in the room next to us was living in their like an apartment. They left dirty diapers outside their room when their was a bigger trash can down the hall.
We were worried about bug infestations. We looked for other hotels but the prices were outrages at that point.
Not worth the money.

Horrible. Checked in. There was a pond of water in the bathroom. Called the front desk. They sent someone to fix it. I had used a towel to clean up great deal of the water. Fast forward. After going out for dinner it still hadn’t been fixed. The next morning I gave him the opportunity to move us to another room. He said one would be available later in the day. Had not showered because of the filthy bathroom and the water in the floor.
See above. After coming back at 5 pm room was still not available. The owner informed me that I would not be able to find another room in town. I looked at noon and there were quite a few. At 5 pm most of those rooms were no longer available

The location - nice walking distance to DTPS and businesses in South Palm Springs. Unbeatable price.
Advertised amenities, i.e. pool and WiFi, were not available. The room was not in great shape and not clean. There were bugs on the floor and it was incredibly humid while the windows didn't open.

The location is 1 mile from downtown. Walkable for me. The room is exactly what one would expect from a 1 star motel. The room was clean, the sheets and towels old, but clean. The bed, not new but comfortable enough. Soap and shampoo included.
A coffee maker and coffee in the room would be a big improvement. I could have used an extra blanket, but not critical.

That there no bed bugs. There's a Pizza Hut across the street. Liquor store next door.
The owner is very spiratic and sketchy. These beds are horrible. The blankets are horrible as well as the service. Parking lot is shot to hell and so are the facilities. Spout in the shower is jagged and sharp. They won't change me rooms even though I have asked numerous times in the 2 weeks I have been here. Housekeeping is an all evening affair if she is even hereand I can't ever get clean towels or sheets unless I run into house

I liked that property was well lit at night,
Staff seemed to be gone the entire stay, although they were not needed. I found it odd the room had a microwave and refrigerator, but no coffee maker or water provided. The towels were clean, but paper thin. The room air conditioner worked fine, however, it sat in a wall opening that was too big for the unit, so you see the outside of the room from the bed looking through the opening in the wall. It could be very inviting to animals in search of a warm room.

Grounds were dirt,broken and people walking around smoke cigarettes and other things.
We left the property before dark and end up staying else when for out safety.

The guy behind counter was very nice.
The hotel is on a very nice area.
Hotel neeeds improvement. The advertisement on Booking.com is nothing like the actual hotel. I was expecting microwave refrigerator and seating area ,but none of that was there. I did ask for a refrigerator because it was essential that I have one and the guy on the office was very nice and he has someone deliver it that day. unfortunately there was no microwave so we had to throw away lots of our food and also it was very dirty and the window drape was falling because it was missing a whole hook to hold it up. I also called the guy on the office and he did also send someone to fix that right away but overall the hotel is very old , definitely need improvements,the worst part was that our neighbors And the fumes of smoke and weed ,came into our room was so bad! And they
were super loud literally aggressively fighting.cursing and banging on walls My kids got so scared. They did that two days in a row. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to call the cops or just check out, but we still had two days to go and they were already paid for so just suck it up

The staff was nice.
The staff was nice but the place its self was falling apart. The walls and floors had holes. The exterior was very old. We paid so much money for Coachella weekend, they should use that to renovate.
