We liked the retro-industrial decor of the room, especially the wall lamps which had Edison bulbs, instead of the ugly bluish fluorescent bulbs that are in many hotel rooms, also you can turn on/off each individual lamp. Mattress was good, not hard, not soft.
The bed was very close to the wall, so that I had to shimmy to get in and out. It seems like the room may have had two beds before and they didn't want to rewire for the plugs and lamps to fit the king size headboard, so it ended up very close to the wall. They room has barebones amenities: no iron or board, no coffee maker, no hair dryer, no microwave. The room does have a mini fridge and they did give us a hair dryer to use, and there is coffee in the office in the AM (no breakfast though).

Plenty if restaurants and bars within walking distance. The pool area looked very inviting but we didn't get the chance to use it.

There was honestly not much that I liked. We checked in late at night, around 11pm, and the overnight security guy checked us in and was very kind.
I've discovered a trend in Palm Springs where old motels from 60 years ago are haphazardly "updated," and that's what this one is. Luckily we were not one of the people who found mold on the walls or bugs in our bed, but the quality of the room was unacceptable for the price or maybe even for humanity. Paint chipping, a broken chair, unclean shower, a big kick dent in the bathroom door. I felt dirty staying there and I still feel dirty a month later!
I'd say only consider this place if you're on a budget, but even then, the prices were very high. This shouldn't be more than $60/night based on the quality of the rooms, or if you absolutely have to crash somewhere for one night then it's probably acceptable. Show up late, go right to sleep, wake up early and leave. It's not a place to "stay" in palm springs.
I wasn't looking for the "beach club vibe" but you should know there is no "Beach Club" it's just a regular weird pool behind the motel. It's also quite loud - you can hear through the walls pretty easily.
Motels like this should not be allowed to operate. There have got to be some health codes being violated and it's a huge rip off.

Location is perfect, close to shops, restaurants. Most rooms are pool facing. Pool area is good too. The view of the mountains at a distance was breathtaking. The lady at the front desk was super friendly.
Front desk charged $100 on credit card as deposit, while most hotels take it as credit authorization. When the deposit was refunded, I lost $10 CAD due to forex conversion. They don’t clean the room or make the bed. When asked they dropped a bunch of towels and bed sheets on the bed. They expect guests to make their own bed!!

Internet was down and couldn’t check in. Had to scramble to find a new property to stay at which was further away from the area I wanted to be around.
Didn’t get to stay and was a huge inconvenience for my trip.

We barely slept both nights with noise and banging coming from neighbouring rooms.

The location was decent.
The paint was peeling in the bathroom and it looked like there was a moldy patch emerging. The entire facility looked tired and worn. The lobby was practically nonexistent. My friend wanted to meet me there and I declined because I was embarrassed at how decrepit the facility was.

Pool area modern , room decor,location and staff was excellent.ice cold room was nice. love the security cameras.
Lobby needs hot coffee cold water and some free welcome cookies or chips.More snacks chocolate and food for sale.tv remote broken. No Water bottle in fridge.Some bikes.led fire pit.

The rooms were nice for the price. Comfortable Rooms. The pool area was nice with ample cabanas available. Dogs were allowed poolside, which was a huge plus. All of the staff were super-friendly and accommodating.
It would have been nice to have a microwave in the room.

I like the location, cleanliness and value. I have stayed there before and I would again.
The double queen room that was booked was not ready. We were switched to a a single queen room. It was fine.

The lady on check in, I believe was the Manager. She was brilliant and check in was quick.
The room and pool were way better than expected.
If travelling solo or as a couple I would highly recommend this place.
