Great staff
I specifically got this hotel for the pool. Come tomorrow find out it's closed. They didn't tell me I had to find out the next day when I went to go swim. Very disappointed

The check-in staff was very accommodating, nice, and great customer service because I just flew in from the airport and was 1 hr early to be checked in for my room, but she was very nice and accommodating to let my child and I checked in early. Also, she placed us on the 2nd floor because she we were females. That's what I called great customer services! Btw, breakfast was great, too!

only the staff. nothing more.
1. location - located in a dark area with *lots* of homeless. didnt fell comfortable to get in the hotel at night. some of them are staying in the parking lot - leave nothing in your car.
2. room had no lights, stream in the shower was barely working, sheets had stains on it, floor was dirty - especially in the bathroom and shower.
3. breakfast - bad.

It was my husband's birthday and I asked them if they could put balloons in the room to celebrate, not really expecting they would do it, not only it had balloons but a small basket of goodies as well! It was great to still be able to celebrate his birthday somehow and he loved the surprise!

The staff was so kind and helpful. I felt right at home. The bed was the most comfortable bed in which I had slept in over a week while in a very expensive hotel in WA DC the week before.
The breakfast was OK, and the environment in it was quite sketchy.

Had a fridge, big bed and tv we could connect an HDMI cord too. Nice to be close to the hwy to town. The homeless are around but I would say that its a big problem anywhere in portland and even if you stayed in hotels downtown there would be the same problem.
I think more security at night or visible of this if there is someone as it felt it was lacking. In the middle of the night we heard someone trying to break into our room (open the door) hoping to get in. Additionally, saw doors open with easy access for people to get in.

THEY RIPPED US OFF SECURITY PEPPER SPRAYED MY HUSBAND AND I OVER A MISUNDERSTANDING!! OUR 3 WEEK OLD DAUGHTER WAS IN THE ROOM!!! THEN WHEN I MADE A FORMAL COMPLAINT WHEN I CALLED THEIR COMPLAINTS DEPARTMENT THEY LIED WHEN THE COMPLAINTS DEPARTMENT CALLED AND ASKED WHAT HAPPENED THEY TOLD THEM MY HUSBAND WENT TO JAIO!!!

It was clean and it had a great breakfast.
The staff didn't speak to you. The location was a little sketchy. We watched a couple of what appeared to be homeless people digging through the garbage. It was noisy. The fitness center, and the bathroom downstairs were kept locked. The beds were hard.

The online picture of the hotel show that they have spa even the hotel directory in room say its has spa but when I went ask the front desk they told me those are old pictures and they dont have any spa.

Lady at the front desk was kind and understanding.
The room was filthy. Tables were not wiped down, chairs had all color stains everywhere, hair all over the shower, the toilet would not flush, no soap in the bathroom, bedsheets had stains of God only knows what. When we were getting our luggage from the car, there was a half naked homeless man digging in the hotels front lobbys trash can. There was also a homeless woman injecting some type of drug in her arm right in the hotels parking lot. Sad to say that this was our first experience in Oregon. Right after check-in, we checked out immediately. We did not feel safe.

Room had an odor to it, the bed was fine.
Last night 7/22/23 my granddaughter and I stayed at this facility and have never been so afraid of staying in a hotel. I was woken up at 1:30 when someone was trying to get into our room, I could hear them pushing on the door. Finally, they went away. I finally dozed back off and I was woken up again at 5 with someone again trying to access my room. This time they were more persistent. I never went back to sleep and just as soon as it was light, we packed up and left. I spoke with the lady at the front desk and asked her if the doors to the facility were locked at night as there are quite a few homeless people in this area. She assured me that they were locked, and she said that she would have her supervisor look into it. I don't feel that this was a safe and secure place, I will not be staying there again.

the girl who checked us in the first night was very kind and tried to contact her manager to solve our problem but couldnt get in contact.
bugs in the room, dirty, adjoining door didnt work (and employee couldnt get it unlocked) so unable to use one of the two rooms we booked.

Honestly the person who checked us in was great and friendly
the lady who works late night or the over night shift is unprofessional is so disrespectful I was actually besides myself how one would be in a customer service profession when she should a lack of Respect or concern on how she even treated or acted with guest. Never have I ever experienced such behavior and I stay and travel all year so I stay at list of hotels and this is far the worst service yet.

The bed was very comfortable. Slept really well. There was plenty of space in the room. It had recently been remodeled.
We were in a room that had been remodeled and it was missing furniture. There was a desk chair but no other seating. There was a space for a sofa but it hadn't been added yet. This wasn't a huge deal and didn't affect our stay.

Dilapidated,
When we were there, there was a lot of construction going on and part of the hotel was closed and caution taped off. The swimming facilities were closed. We had to change rooms because the blinds were literally falling off of the window and dropped onto the floor. The bed however did seem clean and reasonably comfortable.

I do not know what all the bad reviews are about for this hotel. We had a very good experience. The room and common areas were spotless, the bed was comfortable, the large room was well furnished (large desk, minifrig, microwave, etc.), and the price was very reasonable. There were some homeless people in the general area but not the hordes others have written about. There were none at the hotel or in the parking lot even at night. There was a Burger King and a diner like restaurant next door. Overall it was a very good experience.

The Room and service was great. The Bed was comfortable and the room itself was clean. Plenty of space to spread out. The AC and microwave can use an upgrade, but it was nice to have both in the room.
The location was very sketch. Traveling alone is bad enough, but the location was very isolated and there were many transients in the area. I did not feel comfortable/safe going out to my car to get stuff I left in there. It was a one-trip kinda thing. There was a burger king next door, but even that was sketch. For the price, i just thought it would be better.

We made a same-day reservation so were happy they had availability. Initially, we found the front desk staff to be very helpful. She made a great restaurant recommendation which we took.
The neighborhood is very sketchy. The property is going through an expansive remodel which appears to have been sorely needed judging from the exterior and odors inside. Had we not been exhausted we would have left immediately just due to the strong smell of bug spray. The room appeared clean but when my daughter pulled back the sheets to climb into bed there were two cockroaches (babies) IN THE SHEETS. So we were a bit freaked out. I went to the front desk immediately with a picture of the bugs and I was discreet in letting her know about the issue. Her response was to ask if I knew what kind of bugs they were. (Really?) We were offered a different room, but opted to leave. No refund was offered, no apology for the nasty experience and inconvenience. Ultimately, we were not charged (thank you booking.com) but I can not recommend this hotel.
