Mokara Hotel & Spa was immaculate and well-kept, providing a comfortable and luxurious stay for my family and me. The staff was also welcoming and attentive, making the overall experience even more enjoyable.

One of the pros of the hotel is its central location which provides easy access to popular tourist spots. However, one downside is the lack of o -site parking, which could be an inconvenience for guests with vehicles.

location was perfect with access to Riverwalk and close to other popular attractions. Rooftop pool is a great amenity, always clean with hooded towels. gym was one of the best. appreciated the cold water bottles and WSJ available every morning. the bathroom was very large and we enjoyed the large bathtub and bath salts that were laughed or are used. Personal hygiene products such as soaps, shampoos, and conditioners were top-of-the-line. We would've appreciated coffee available in the lobby every morning. And we were traveling with our two granddaughters and therefore had to get a room with two double beds. The beds were quite small and my husband and I found it a little difficult to sleep through the night. But the room could not accommodate any larger beds. ๏ฟผ

Everything from the friendliness of the valet, park here to the amazing beauty of my room. I walked in and quiet, peaceful nature music was on on the TV, my ice bucket was already filled with ice, and there was a fruit tray waiting for me. I decided to order dinner, and although it was quite pricey ($50 for a scallop meal and a $25 room service fee) it was an amazing experience for my pallet. After a long dayโ€™s drive, it was a nice oasis to come to.

Unfortunately getting to it was quite difficult because I chose to arrive on December 23 and there was a lot of holiday activity on the Riverwalk. I have not been down to breakfast yet, but based on the pictures and last nightโ€™s dinner experience, Iโ€™m sure it will be amazing! The other thing I was not pleased with, was not being able to have easy access to my car. They said I could contact the valet and they could bring me anything I need out of my car, but I felt awkward, asking them to do that, so I just went without. Also make sure that you get a room that does not face the parking garage in the street. I didnโ€™t even open my curtains because that was what my view was. If you can afford it, get a room with a Riverwalk view.

This gem on the Riverwalk is a true treasure. The building was originally a saddle shop, and the lobby tastefully provides a tribute to its history. And now itโ€™s a wonderful boutique hotel in a vibrant city! The rooms are exquisite getaways, each with a spacious bathroom that includes a shower and a tub with jets. I really appreciate the fruit delivery in the evenings and the spa. The hotel is located on a quiet street but right above the Riverwalk and close to everything.

The 4 pm check-in time and 11 am check-out time can make a short stay seem even shorter.

1. I asked for the SPA services at the spa reception, but hey told me they donโ€™t know the prices and itโ€™s on the website. On the website thereโ€™s no prices. I called to butler service and asked for prices, he told me I donโ€™t know prices but I can transfer you to the spa receptionist. So stupid. 2. Simple request. I asked for the late check out, they told me they โ€œfully bookedโ€. It was easy to check booking.com right at the moment they had a LOT of available rooms. Because itโ€™s was Sunday, nobody stay on Sundays to Monday. Everybody know that. I asked to transfer me to manager, he told me they fully booked, and he gave 1 hour more only after I told him about wrong order at the dinner (they brought regular water instead of sparkling and IT WAS OPEN and filledโ€ฆ and donโ€™t know how to describe it, itโ€™s so stupid, It was filled by regular water from the filter!). And only after that stuff tried to be helpfull. Guys, itโ€™s not work like that. Completely dissatisfied. Never want to have a deal with that property and chain.
