The staff made the property. The rooms were average, parking lot was unsafe as three Harleys were stolen within 30 yard of the lobby entrance the first night I was there but the staff get 9 stars out of 10 stars!

The rom was okay. The location seemed a bit inconvenient and shady, but ended up being okay. The staff were nice and helpful. Kept bags even after checkout.
Not great on facilities though. The hallways looked creepy for some reason and did not have cameras. I had to sleep with my lights on, and extra locks, but I did not get disturbed.

The room was nice, but housekeeping could do better with cleaning the bathroom. The hallways have a mildew odor. There was a smoke odor as soon we exited the elevator, and this hotel is non-smoking.

Loved the city view! Love that they have a private parking garage! They were Very friendly at the front desk but afterwards I felt that they only told us what we wanted to hear even if they were lying.
NO CLEAN TOWELS!! If you stay more than one day, they won’t clean your room! We have stayed here numerous times and only issue we’ve ever had was not getting a room with a view when we requested it and dogs barking at all hours but we could handle that. We ended up checking out early and they didn’t even offer any discount or anything for the inconvenience!

The view and the staff was friendly
PAID PARKING!!! I spent 7 days there and the parking emptied our account and it's was ridiculous, I also got charged for the safe in the room I never used.
And the cum stains on the bed curtain was very uncomfortable also the weird brown stains on the wall of the bathroom.
One more thing was the TV so little channels and the best of them didn't work! My son was so sad that he couldn't watch Nickelodeon

First of all, I was very hesitant about booking this place as previous reviews seemed terribly consistent. However, I enjoyed my stay here.
Location: Excellent, I had a conference at the Henry B Gonzales Convention Center. It was like a 6-7 mins walk. The River Centre Mall & Riverwalk a 4 mins walk, the Alamo a 6-7 mins walk and many other attractions nearby. Easy access to public transportation
Room: Clean upon entry, great view of the city and highway. I booked a Deluxe suite, so a microwave and mini fridge was included which was a plus for storing and reheating food supplies.
No breakfast included which was known, but was pleased that they had a tea/coffee station in the mornings and hot water available through out the day for guest to make their own tea/coffee at their convenience. They supplied laundry service at a minimal cost
Parking: Paid Parking ($15 daily + tax), though I found this should not be charge to guest, it did put my mind at ease knowing that the vehicle I rented is safely parked and monitored. Alternate parking under the bridge close by could have been an option, but I did not want to risk it. Good thing I did not rent a vehicle for my entire stay.
1. I reached the hotel before check-in time, possibly closer to 1pm, thought my room was ready, the hotel wanted me to pay an early check-in fee of $25. I found this ridiculous, so decided to leave my luggage and chill out by the pool then walked to the nearby mall.
2. No washroom facilities available for guest while they wait to be checked-in. So imagine the dilemma there..hummmm.
3. You are charge $3 per night for use of the safe in your room. I did not use mine so I was refunded within 24 hours
4. The air conditioner was a bit loud at times, but worked nonetheless.

Location - walking distance to most downtown sites. Price was awesome for the value received! The location was clean and comfortable, and was a perfectly suitable location for what we needed.
As expected, rooms and facilities are outdated. TVs could be newer, bathrooms need to be refreshed. It was obvious that the rooms were well-used, but there was no concerns about cleanliness or comfort.

Nothing. It is old and not maintained smelled musty, moldy and old. Needs a thorough cleaning and redecorating. Very messy, they charged for every little thing. The motel had parking but they charged me to park my vehicle in the parking lot of the hotel I was staying at.
It was overrun with homeless people and they came in and out of the hotel. The front desk reps pretended like it was nothing. I did not feel safe there. The hotel did not have security.

This was the single WORST hotel stay we've ever experienced. We stayed 3 nights, had NO HOT WATER for our entire stay. When I tried to contact the manager, she had always gone home for the day, and my messages were not returned. The facility advertised washing linens in Very hot water, yet, there was not hot water available. I left a message requesting a refund and the manager ignored my messages. It was a miserable stay.

Room not very clean, sheets look unwashed and had to soak coffee in a cup of hot water because there was nothing to hold the filter in place so I couldn’t brew a cup of coffee. Food Vending machines not working and it was too dark for a single mom to walk to get food so we went to bed hungry.

The location and convenience the hotel provided was great.
The ac in my room was broken, seems like it was a problem they are aware of but refuse to fix. The toilet was broken as well, overheard employee saying another room had the same issue. HOWEVER, I was upgraded to a different room and the stay after that was much more enjoyable.
