Loved the location, pricing was reasonable, staff was lovely, king deluxe room was spacious, clean as well, loved the safety of it, you could only get in with a room key card and access the elevator with your room key card, was fortunate to have gotten parking in one of the two parking garages it has. In a safe feeling neighborhood. Front desk was accommodating and able to answer all my questions. Parking was available when we got there but was in a small and tight garage. Luckily we didn’t hear much disturbance. Was quiet enough during our stay.
It’s an inn motel vibe, the price was more than I wanted it to be for the aesthic, but it felt clean. But I wish they didn’t charge for requesting for a microwave in the room (10 dollars)

We loved the location and the ease of transportation options. We really appreciated the kind and friendly staff. They were super accommodating.
The first night there was a boisterous family above us. We were in room 209. We brought this to the attention of the staff that night and the next day they were able to move us to a different room. They were happy to let us see the room before we moved and moved us promptly.

Would be nice if they place kettle and microwave in all rooms. The TV seems does not work properly in room 117. Please add TV option to watch YouTube and other streaming services, kids cant live without those things. The hotel was pretty much empty but we got a room with a nice view of wall.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. On a clear day, you can see the Golden Gate bridge from the Rooftop Deck. This is a good location, with access to some restaurants within a couple of blocks. Many of the attractions are within a short drive (or medium distance walk) like the Palace of Fine Arts.
Parking can be a little tight, but we always found a parking spot upon returning. The staff will work with you if there is an issue. Honestly, parking is an issue everywhere we went in S.F. so Buena Vista seems to handle this well,considering they have free parking for their guests.

free undercover parking; someone usually always at reception; fridge in the room - provided a kettle as requested on booking - very helpful reception staff, especially Ramon! Able to open the window in our room. Fresh towels daily if we wanted and good housekeeping service. This is like a 2-3 star Inn very simple but has everything we were looking for at a reasonable price. I did not want to stay somewhere that did not have 'internal corridors' to get to the rooms - SFO weather is too unpredictable/cold and it was internal access from the carpark to lift/rooms. Funky communal/lounge areas - even a small rooftop terrace!
Furnishings in the room were 'tired'.

Well I don't write long reviews but this is necessary.
1 - Even so there was a person at the counter I was forced to do a check in with a teleremote person who knows where that couldn't finish the check in because her payment pad didn't work.
2- No microwave in the room ,no towels change every day unless you ask and ofcourse no bedding changed either.
3- Water flow in the shower is extremely low.
4-At check in i was told it takes 24 to 48 hours to get your deposit back but at check out i was told 5 to 7 business days.
5-Outlets by the bed where not working which is pretty big inconvenience if you have to use a Cpap machine.
Overall this hotel is not even close to 3 star hotel but more like 1.75 stars because we stayed at 2 star hotel on this trip at Yosemite Park and it was better then this one.

I liked the location and free parking. There was also a little rooftop deck that we enjoyed at the end of the day & met some interesting people. Staff was friendly and helpful. It was right on the bus line that takes you down to Fisherman’s Wharf.
The room itself was small and needed some work—paint, towel rack in bathroom about to fall off wall. One of the main window screens was sliced in half.

It is decent place at a good price.
I would appreciate having an electric tea kettle and a microwave. And a laundry. But they are not advertised so you know they are not there. The laundromat is across the street. And there’s a coffee maker in the room.
I got a few hiccups with the WiFi but managed to make it work.
On an occasion parking was full, but again as advertised: first come-first served basis.

Beds were comfy (i like a firmer mattress) and the thermostat/airconditioner was easy to toggle. The cleanliness of the room was up to expectations. Location is great - very walkable to Fisherman's Wharf and a short Waymo ride away from Golden Gate Park, Presidio Park, Chinatown and Union Square.
The fridge in my room was spoilt but the team responded very quickly to replace it. The one downside was that there was no laundry facilities though their website and Booking.com listing stated there was so that was a little inconvenient. Not many food choices nearby so have to travel out a little.

Unless you are at the 2nd floor garage you are dragging luggage up the stairs. Not all rooms are equal.

If you like and used to walk, the location of this hotel is amazing. We walked to the Golden Gate bridge easily, and there a lot of restaurant and bar all around anc close to the hotel.

Staff was accommodating for my request of an upper floor, I called before as well as mentioned on the day of my stay and I was provided with that room. Location was the best part about this hotel, I suggest requesting a room on the top floor and away from the street as we had no problem with noise. Also on the top floor there is a balcony where you can see the golden gate bridge!
The room only came with 2 rolls of toilet paper and two towels for a 5 day length of stay for two people. Also the shampoo, conditioner and body wash all felt like hand soap just dyed different colors! I think what would really make this hotel would be microwaves in the rooms, being tourists we often ate out and it would have been nice to heat up our leftovers.

It was great that they had free parking available. I LOVED that they were close to a beautiful walking trail & the water. I loved their little rooftop to drink my morning coffee.
The room I stayed in was a little outdated but it was comfortable. I wish they had a microwave in the room.
